  • please bring over the Ace Combat series to the Playstation Network.

  • nice update, but more avatars are needed ^_^

  • Patchwork Heroes is mine! The demo was fantastic.

  • Patchwork Heroes is a must buy at $10 and The Red Star is tempting, but where are all the PSP UMD legacy titles? It’s almost 3 months into the year and we haven’t seen a single noteworthy UMD legacy title this year. Where’s Square-Enix’s backcatalog? Where’s Mega Man Powered Up? Popolocrois? MGS Acid?

  • Cool, I’ve been waiting for BreakQuest. Is it compatible with the PS3, or just PSP?

  • Grace,

Are there still plans to move older UMD games to the PSN network for PSP? I have noticed the last couple months have been new PSN games only. I know you can’t promise or even announce anything, I just want to know if it is an intentional stop.

    Thanks!

    • Not intentional, although it may appear that way. We’d love to continue to bring “legacy” UMD titles to PSN.

  • This is all good i guess, but where is the God of War 3 skins at ? I called this morning about not getting a email yet for my Phantom of Chaos character skin , the lady said these would be up today. So I haven’t gotten my email yet and I see nothing in here about the gow3 skins?

  • Weak update… and to add insult to injury, GTA Episodes from Liberty City is delayed two weeks.

  • I would have gotten the Super Bowl Who track if it was released that day, but enough time has passed to where that hype has worn off. Same with “All You Need is Love” For TBRB. I’m not really blaming Sony on this, though.

  • Don’t count One for PSOne as a bad game guys, I have the disc and I love it.

  • can we expect fat princess fistfull of cake anytime soon?

  • Are there going to be ARI themes for all four environments from the game or just Mars?

  • A really thin week with another random PS1 classic. Good to see Patchwork Heroes for PSP owners at least, as it looks to be the only thing for them worth buying this week.

  • No BlazBlue, no Metal Slug XX, nothing at all.

Good thing there are always “haters” like us ready to downvote such a mediocre service. As long as there are people left behind, these updates won’t get 5 points. Because they don’t deserve it.

If the update was good for some, then good for them.
For me it isn’t, so I downvote and complain. Fair enough, right?

Yes, it’s free, but guess what? I still complain. Like many others. That’s what this comment section is for.

  • nice update but still waiting on BLAZBLUE,YAKUZA,WKC, and hopefully FF13 DLC like the japanese FF13 pulse expansion and MW2 map pack but anyways thx for the trine price reduction and eric cartman poker face yeepee rock band on tonight . mai mai mai poker face lol LOVE SOUTH PARK ….. can we get more south park rock band track like master p kenny dead, and eric cartman holy night PLEASE.

  • im just glad it updated before i went to bed this week.

  • Grace,

Thanks again for the Megaman 10 demo. And thanks for having sales that are available to every user! I wish Microsoft did that.

Do you think we’ll get the PixelJunk Shooter demo and a FFXIII demo soon?

Thanks again for fixing the Gravity Crash wallpapers!

    Have a good weekend!

  • What’s up with the Battlefield Bad Company 2 DLC? I thought I read it comes out today, and now its saying there’s some type of delay…

  • Has the Trine Full Game been updated to patch 1.05. The European version is updated. It would be great if the US version were the same.

  • Not the right place to say this I know but when are you guys going to increase our friend limit size. Having friends for each popular game you own easily exceeds the limit. When we get new games we can’t add new friends to play with for those games without deleting other good friends from other games. This urgently needs to be increased soon. It’s gone on for too long! Why have such a small limit, it’s ridiculous.

  • OMFG ITS ONE!!!! i loved that game as a kid. such a classic. downloading now.

  • i wish there were more demos.

  • Sam and Max full-season of episodes pre-ordered!

  • >The Red Star ($14.99)

Anyone that owns a PSP and doesn’t get this game doesn’t like fun.

  • Eh nothing there for me to get excited. See you guys next week.

  • Meh. Next week will be better.

  • PaRappa the Rapper PS1 classic. Puhleeze.

  • wow. what a freakin HORRIBLE update.

    =(

  • Good fail Sony good fail….. what game came out Tuesday…. or have you guys already forgotten? it was only the most anticipated game of the year yet i see no GOW3 avatars or themes great Sony just great you have failed all GOW fans thx again.

  • @skynet
while your argument appears logical it isn’t really, there is limited content in the pipeline and therefore it is impossible for every week to have content that every person would like

    @murrence
the friends list cap is the same on both systems, and both companies have stated that it is a server cap of kind at the current time, maybe eventually they will raise it above 100 but i wouldn’t get my hopes up

  • here’s an idea – fix your update process. I’m sick of bringing home a new game and having to wait for an hour for an update to download and install before I can play it. This is exactly why I purchase so few PS3 games. The 360 can update a title in under 10 seconds, and I am playing right away. Why can’t the PS3 do this, with all the ‘superb power’ that it is supposed to possess?

Secondly, when I d/l a game from PSN, why can I not d/l the most recent version of the game? I wait an hour to download a game, then wait another hour for the thing to d/l an update. Completely stupid.

If you can’t get this simple process to be quick and user-friendly (like your competition has NO PROBLEM DOING) then I see no reason to keep a PS3 any longer. You state that it ‘only does everything’. That’s a little misleading. It should be followed with the tag-line of ‘…if you just don’t mind waiting 2 hours to accomplish anything’.

  • My god, where… is… fat princess???

  • Looks like Imma just grab the tester. I didn’t see much else…hmmm…I still need to get GOW3 so I’ll just wait. Good update keep up the good work. ^_^

  • OH MY GOD! BREAKQUEST?!! FINALY!!! Guys, you need to get this game!

  • You’ve got to put out better PSone classics. I mean… honestly.

I’m glad Trine is the price it SHOULD have been now. Sorry, but $20 for a PSN title is just too much.

  • @81

if you’re waiting an hour to download stuff on your ps3, then you obviously need a better ISP!

  • Nice Update but the biggest news for me is the PSP mini breakquest. I have this game on Mac and it is fantastic. This is worthy of a full $20 purchase on the PC/Mac. Now you can get it for $3.99 on PSN. This is a no brainer. as this a great full length game with 100 levels.

  • FINALLY! A great PSOne Classic I’ve been waiting for ever since they started being available for download – One. Probably one of the best (and hugely underrated) games released for the system. Absolutely phenomenal. Very happy this week, thanks!

  • Groovin multiplayer lol what a joke I don’t know why but like elifunk nobody will ever join my matches I see this happening alot with these obscure network games I know I’m not the only person In The world who bought these games why is there nobody ever online I see the same thing happening with Dj hero

  • I wish you Sony would do better for your customers and call every single little developer in order to get the games onto the PS store. Really im ashamed to call myself a sony customer. I feel like i wasted my life seeing how much you changed sony.

  • Lately I post only to voice my dissatisfaction at the content of the update.
But since getting rid of my pspNO and reverting to the 3000, I’m finding myself
less annoyed about the total lack of pspNO support.

So, pspNO lack of content aside, not a bad update…not “good” but not the worst
    this year for sure.

  • I knew it! I almost bought Trine last week, but I thought I would hold off until you had a sale. Hell yeah!

  • Complain. Complain. Complain.

Do you kids not understand how great a game like One is? You should be doing back flips. This game is epic. At a price of $5.99, you’re getting a steal. I bought that game when it was new at $49.99, but I imagine most you were too busy crappin’ in your pampers.

  • That was a nice update on mlb the show on the newer batting stances to use …. can we try to get ryan braun and and jay bruce stance as well ?? I’m looking forward to the next update for the show. Keep it up sony and san diego studios …

  • @gettinmoney662 sorry I forgot about the replies from snarky brats, I guess those count as replies too!

    Thanks for the helpful feedback!

  • @93

I’ll take complaints over your snobby arrogance and elitism. Your age only indicates how long you’ve managed to stay alive, not maturity or complexity of any kind, as your petulant child like bragging showcases. Try changing your own diaper before commenting on the contents of others, boy.

As for the update, I find it lacking anything I want. Why pay you thirty dollars to “pre-order” a downloadable game? That makes no sense. It’s not like the game has a limited number of downloads before it’s pulled from the servers. If you want relatively obscure PSone games with cult following, I can think of quite a few better than One, such as Fear Effect and Disruptor. That other game has no business being on the store at all, it’s not a classic by any remotely competent argument.

But seriously, don’t ever do this “pre-order” nonsense again. It makes no sense.

  • Hey Grace,

I like that there is more Heavy Rain stuff being released. Nice to see the release of the Heavy Rain Soundtrack on PSN! Is this a precursor of things to come???

Also, Christina Lee hits it out of the park every episode of Pulse! GIVE HER A RAISE!

I remember “One” from my playstation One days. It was the first time I used the dual analog controller. This game was very fun.

Thanks for the sales and free content!

    Mies2000 :)

  • Come on Sony people have been asking you to bring Crash Team Racing to the United States Playstation Store for months now. Instead of putting out Psx titles no one is asking for make us proud and bring Crash to the store.

  • LISTEN SONY!!! GIVE US BETTER UPDATE MATERIAL! DAMNIT I DONT PLAY MY 360 ANY MORE CAUSE I LOVE PS3. REGARDLESS- WHO EVER IS IN CHARGE OF UPDATES NEEDS TO BE FIRED OR JUMP OFF A BRIDGE!!! YOU HAVE THE BEST CONSOLE BUT THE DAMN WII AND XBOX GET ALL THE GOODS FOR THERE STORE! BS BS BS! IF YOU GUYS WERE ONE OF MY SOLDIERS THEN YOU WOULD DO PUSH UPS TILL UR ARMS FALL OFF!!! STEP IT UP AND NOT WITH GAMEPLAY VIDS! GIVE ACTUAL GAMES- IM SO FRUSTRATED CAUSE IM TRYING TO SPEND MONEY WITH YOU- BUT YOUR MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT!

  • Whats wrong with the rock band network on PSN? ive read about clutch coming to rock band this week through RBN, yet playstation gives us a pack of garbage instead? *cough* lady gaga *cough* *cough*

apparently the ps3 does everything…. but play clutch.
