Its ok, I thank you for the apology. I fundamentally believe what Sony is doing is wrong, regardless of whether someone uses it or not. I have been, and continue to fight this in any way I can.

In my opinion there’s been one good update in the last 3 months on the PS store, and that came last week. Another disappointing update.

PSN price 39.99 I think it’s time for a price drop. I evne got the game for 10 dollars the other day new. So remind me why digital distribution is a good idea?

Guess I should expect this sort of shady thing from a company that actually REMOVES FEATURES! PS3 It Use to Only Do Everything.

IT’s not that hard to put some GOOD AVATARS!!! It takes Sony about two weeks just to make about 10 avatars!! It would be great if Sony put Modern Warfare 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 2, and Final Fantasy VII avatars! Come on Sony!

I really wasnt expecting what I saw when I put one the lbp “costumes”. Its cool in a way, yet not cool in another. I guess thats why its an april fools costume, lol.

On another note, I seriously dont like how you guys(sony) could have removed the OS feature, that was a major kick to the privates, it WAS one of the features that made the ps3 unique. Now with it gone it has become less unique, its still imo better than the competition, but honestly it still sucks BIG, cant say I have the same trust and respect for the PS brand anymore, if you’re gonna take that away, then at least give us something good in exchange thats good as well, like say ps2 game emulation?

So lemme see if i got this right, the crybabies arent happy with God of War 3? or Heavy Rain? or Bioshock 2? R MLB the Show? How exactly do u want Sony or anyone for that matter to top that with an update or anything else? How? WTF r doing? waiting every thursday for free stuff then complain it wasnt 5 min sooner or filled with more stuff. if they did that ud complain the stuff still isnt good enuff and that it should be 5 min sooner. Play the best games in the world that only the PS3 has to offer and get off ur period over dumb childish stuff!

Honestly the only good thing about this update (psp wise) is blazblue, and thats not something to happy about since everyone else got it a couple weeks ago!

Seriously can you at least try and support the psp? is it really that hard? The psp has a great library of games and making a system thats only relies on games only on the Psn you would think Sony would up their game and help devs put games on the psn? seriously? you really should start putting games on the psn that people like! Crisis Core, Phantasy Star Portable, the Naruto games!

And dont even get me started on Ps1 “Classic” please start putting Actual ps1 classic. Not games no one liked,no one knew about. I mean come on if you are going to be calling it “Classic” let it be classic games; games that were very popular, or cult classic!

All-in-all i like you sony i love the games you have, but this is getting pathetic.

Hello,

Legitimate question here, and I hope it doesn’t get lost among the myriad of people here complaining mindlessly out of ignorance.

I’m very interested in purchasing the Eye of Indra motion comic, but a big selling point for me is the two skins. It mentions US only, but I live in Canada. I know sometimes it’s easy to bundle N.America into an all inclusive US, but it can also be non-indicative. As a Canadian resident, would I have access to the bonus skins were I to purchase the Eye of Indra?

Thank you very much,
Regards.

TNN Motorsports 4×4 has a metacritic score average in the sixties. It was a mediocre game even in it’s prime, it is not, by any conceivable standard a PSone “classic”, and uploading it to the service is a waste of time. Please use metacritic and gamerankings as a guideline for choosing potential PSone games. The feature is called PSone “classics”. Not “Games that happen to have been on the PSone at some point in time or another”.

Please work on better quality control for this feature in the future. Thank you. I would suggest titles such as Fear Effect, Breath of Fire 3&4, Suikoden 2, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve 1&2, Disruptor, Final Doom, Myst, Capcom versus SNK, Mega Man Legends 1&2, Mega Man 8, and Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, amongst many others worthy of consideration.

I’m getting tired of ppl not knowing what the acronym they use means before using it.

MW2 = MechWarrior 2

CODMW2 = call of duty: modern warfare 2 (call of duty is on the game title just above modern warfare 2 on the font of the box look close and read slowly and use codmw2 from now on)

get it right the MechWarrior series had the MW and there are 4 games in the main series many expansion packs including MW2: ghost bears legacy, MW2: mercenaries and multiple spin offs MW1-4.

I never comment, but I just had to with this firmware downgrade. I personally don’t use another OS, but find it inexcusable that Sony removes a feature like this. I worry that this sets a trend of removing other features that they don’t make money from, like playing music, videos or other things I didn’t buy from them. Maybe someday Sony will decide they are afraid if I buy a blu-ray that isn’t Sony branded it’s a security risk :-)
I did go ahead and downgrade my firmware to 3.21 and now I can’t even watch a live stream of the Tester or Pulse! I have NEVER had that problem prior to this–it took almost 3 hours to download the 20 minute show. (FYI, my internet speed on my computer is same as always, so it seems to just be my PS3 that doesn’t work right now.)

And for ps1 games, maybe Capcom vs snk, marvel vs capcom, fatal fury wild ambition, mortal kombat trilogy, bloody roar 2, rival schools, street fighter ex2, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (in a special fighting event) or spiderman, crash team racing, ridge racer 4, raystorm.
It would be interesting if we could have an access to japanese contents too…

I’m very disseminated with this update. why is it that every time a psone classic is added it has to be a title i can pick up used in working condition for less than $0.99? I’ve been waiting for a U.S. release for Tobal 2 or even Tobal no.1 but noooooo, we have to have some offroad’n game I have never even heard of based on a channel that changed it’s name (TNN=Spike). I don’t mean to be a total jerk but I’m starting to lose faith in the competence of the PSN team. I’m not gonna waste my time and money on the awful psone title you all call classics. I did however appreciate the face that FF7, FF8, FFTactics, the resident evil’s, Tomb Raider’s and such were released but this doesn’t quell the fact that I feel insulted by this and the last few store updates. Lackluster….Very Lackluster

God Of War III avatars!!! So we can further gloat to our friends who aren’t as awesome as ourselves.
Seriously, the amount of avatars is good, but very inconsistent, and there ought to be more games getting avatars per update. At this price, you should be making this penny candy in flavors everyone will love.

Hey guys I have a quick question. My friend told me the European Store has 50% off all popular psp games such as LBP, Tekken 6, Need for Speed etc etc…. How come we cant get that here. Also I tried to switch my address to a European address and I could not do so. Why?

I really want to spend about 100 bucks on psn getting those psp games for 50% off. Please assist me. I dont want to create a sepearate account. I am no pirate, and I just want to buy some games at great discounts like that. What can I do and if I cant do anything will you please give us the same deal next week?

I think you guys need to have a countdown of when the playstation store is going to update. I’m tired of going back and forth looking to see if it has been updated yet. The updates used to come around 4 est and now they are starting to come out around 8 est. Is it too much to ask for a little bit of consistency?

Decent update not my cup of tea, still the typical whining about not having old squaresoft/capcom titles. Think those gamers should of taken care of their games in past so they wouldn’t have to be here whining but it is always funny to see majority of Squaresoft titles considered all classics vs what SquareEnix where you just shake your head and wonder.

All i want is an updated Tenchu not the one on xbox but one for us where they put some real time into texture and gameplay and a decent multiplayer is that too much to ask for get the word out.

redknight when has mechwarrior been relevant in the last decade especially mechwarrior 2?
