This is because PSN can “see” that your IP is from outside the region that such things were ment for & hence they’re blocked. You may not be able to access the US video store, but the US cant use certain features that the EU has as well.

i have created a US PSN account and would like to download-purchase some movie titles

however, when i logged into Playstation Store, i only have the following items shown:
-new releases
-games
-view all by titles
-demos
-add-ons
-media (no movies or TV titles, only have The Tester, Qore and some trailers)
-themes & avatars
-top downloads

could it be that i am residing in Asia, so those contents are not visible even i logged in to my US account? (reason for holding US account: Asia PSN lacks a whole lotta contents/DLC, availability/releases are much slower)

last but not least, please allow the use of international credit cards for payment
