Coming to April’s Qore: ModNation PSP Demo

We hope you enjoyed the April episode of Qore, featuring in-depth coverage of God of War III, Split/Second and 3D Dot Game Heroes. If you are a Qore annual subscriber or purchaser of the April episode, we want to let you know about a late addition to Episode 23’s Download Center: ModNation Racers PSP Demo.

ModNation Racers Qore DLC

Qore subscribers were invited to the PS3 game Beta last year, and starting on April 22, you’ll also get a chance to play the upcoming PSP demo version. Visit the Download Center in the April episode of Qore after this week’s PlayStation Store Update for early access to the ModNation Racers PSP demo, which lets you test drive two full tracks from the game and give the track creator a spin.

And, look for more exclusive downloads in next month’s May episode of Qore, featuring Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands, UFC Undisputed 2010 with Jens Pulver, and an insider’s look at upcoming additions to PlayStation Home.

    PSP demo’s on a PS3 ONLY Digatial MAG. (going to scrathch my head for awhile). Be back soon.

    @2 a lot of PS3 users own PSP. its an interesting cross console promotions

    might have to buy this months QORE.

      Just a reminder: the MNR PSP demo is only available to annual subscribers.

      Please disregard my earlier reply. The original post is correct. The MNR PSP demo will be available to BOTH annual subscribers AND April episode purchasers.

    I was tricked into buying a single episode of Qore when you said either subscribers or single-episode purchasers could download the Eye of Judgment Legends demo. Can you please let me know (with 100% certainty, instead of stealth-editing the blog post like you did in the example I gave) if single-episode purchasers can download the demo?

    @9 this is true, but for those who do own both this is a nice little bonus. its not hard to see this is a decent promo for those of us that are interested in this PSP game, like Qore, and have a PS3.

    lmao @ 7.I cant wait to see the ModNation HOME Space.It would be cool if our avatars can actually be in a game..SONY should just make a SAND BOX HOME GAME like SIMS.ANYWHO..Mod for the psp..was a surprise..yet wise..double the system double the fun and MONEY :p ooh and a psp demo on a ps3 show? that too was a surprise..guess SONY is BIG on SURPRISES..i hope it gets better @ E3 :p

    Nice…..I hope they can find more extras for the next few Qore episodes. At this point I don’t plan on re-subscribing but if the exclusives increase I may be tempted again.

    @9 and alot of PS3 owners have a PSP as well….Like me.

    never understood why demo’s are being used as as bonus for qore. don’t you want as many people as possible to try a demo and then make the full purchase?

    @21 it would be scheme to have you pay for a theme if it was the only thing you were paying for, but that is not the case. you will get some (usually decent) video articles on at least 3 topics, art work and more. its not like they are charging you more to access the demo, its just an added bonus. if you dont want to buy it then don’t.

    @20 from the way it reads, it seems like the demo will be available that day

    question to all those saying that they are tricking you into paying a demo. how is this any different (other then the format) then when you would get demo disc from print mags like EGM, Nintendo Power and so on. were they tricking you into buying demo(that is if you didn’t open the plastic and take it) or were you buying the magazine that happened to come with demos??

    Why does it say Qore subscribers were invited to the ModNation beta? Shouldn’t it say some subscribers were? I sure never got invited.

    i played Mod Nation for PSP when Sony was here in NYC and its fun, ive been a QORE Subscriber snce day 1 so if im a fanboy so be it but i enjoy Qore and it has always givin nice things out, Closed Betas Games on atlease 5 Big Titles not including all the other perks montioned here and some free full games (2 i can think of off the head HV Bowling and Calling All Cars)

    So,if you feel you arepaying for a Demo then dnt buy it very simple and for those with no PSP, thisis a PSP Demo included so u basically need both systems, first to download theEpisode then acess it to get to the download section. I Will Enjoy it, Thanks Guys!!

    You may want to edit that first paragraph. Your reply @3 says that only annual subscribers will have access to the demo, but your first paragraph states:

    @29 Yea, i did get the Beta for PS3 and the PSP Exclusive Themes came like 3 weeks to a month ago in the email :) I feel Sony sees who partake in there events.

    I’m liking how it’s coming out on May 11… a Tuesday! Finally, I thought this day would never come! I guess the rumors/reports are true then.

    It’s cool that MNR coming out on PSP and PS3, but it would be a lot cooler if the PS3 version just supported remote play. We need more games that support remote play, without the pixeljunk and popcap games, the list of games that support this feature would be really pathetic.

    I own a PSP and I have an anual subcription to Qore. And I did not buy Qore to get PSP demo’s. I would rather have another Theme. As sad as that sounds. ;)

    Unless you have data that shows something like 80% of Qore subscribers own PSP’s I dont think you should be giving away PSP downloadable goodies.

    P.S.

    *rant about how disgracefully bad the downloadable goodies have been this year*

    Seriously, do you have anything new to say to all the Qore subscribers who feel ripped off with the huge difference between what was offered year one and year two?

    well, i don’t want to sound like a jerk but, about time Qore gave us something good (the previews are nice but the download section hasn’t been all that great). As an annual subscriber, i think we should get more goodies than just themes, so please, more demos/betas!
