Oh, and why I’m here…

How about either

1: Hire some people who know what hey are doing so they can fix the browser to allow more enriched content, like IDK, FLASH!
or
2: Allow Apps to be installed! Ya know, stuff like a youtube app, and a skype app? just basic crap that makes having an expensive “high tech” piece of electronics more flexible and seem like its worth it. After all, it “does everything” doesnt it?

I mean seriously, even as retarded as apple has been, allowing things on their overpriced crap, i almost like them for having the partial ability to sweeten your device the way you like it for YOU. Imagine the application developments people would have going for the PS3. Of course it would havta come with grandaddy Tretton cherry picking what should go on or not. lol

Whatever… just a cruddy pipe dream :/

Wow, freakin great update :/ That is so awesome that there is 3D available now for all of the zillions people who can and will use it right now. ha, Im sure all of the people who even flinch thinking about getting an expensive 3D set right now or even in the next year considering their cost, will still be a fraction of the people who would want and would still be using Linux on their PS3.
And as for the trophy update… Whoopeee! Another MORE useless and pointless feature on my system.

Great Job Sony, at sucking!

Secure and fix your product, and bring us back Other OS danggit!

I have a 60 gig fat ps3. never any problems

I downloaded the 3.30 update, restarted, and now my ps3 does not read any kind of disc.

I Called sony and now I have to pay them $150 to fix something a mandatory update did. Total BS.

will you please update the browser…..it barely works with anything, especially facebook….it wont let me leave comments on my own page!!!! WTF!!!! this really needs to be addressed in the next update…..c’mon sony, get it together…..the browser is WAY OVERDUE for an update……

So according to some people’s logic, Sony would be fully justified in removing all gaming functionality from the PS3 if there was a chance that it might someday lead to piracy. I mean, it’s primarily a Blu-ray player, right? If you want to play games, buy a PC or Wii or something.

So i’m still om 3.15, when will the gheyness end? I really thought this would have been cleared up by now. It’s not like I use PSN much or even the PS3 for that matter, It only matters to me on the basis of not being able to use the store. I think we just need to all agree that as a company, Sony has absolutely no idea about their clients needs and wants. The attitude hasn’t changed since PsOne, I might sound like an old bastard, But sony to me are still New to the Gaming Market.

Since the last update I can no longer stream the NBC Nightly News from http://www.nightly.msnbc.com from the browser. I would like to be able to watch the world news streaming from this website for free. I don’t mind paying for content, but think news should remain free. Our democracy is only better with an educated citizenship.
