In anticipation for our ModNation Racers release on May 25th, and to celebrate ModNation May, we are going to drop some free ModNation DLC before we even launch the game! So what DLC are we hooking you up with?
I’d like to introduce you to Air Raid!
Get an AIRMEN CAP and FLIGHT JACKET to use on any one of your Mod creations!
Air Raid is a sweet Mod that drives an even sweeter Fighter Plane Kart. If you’re lucky enough to get a voucher for this character, you don’t just get to play as Air Raid, but you can get all the accessories that come with him to create your own “Ace” driver and slick Air Fighter-styled kart.
Pilot your Kart with a YOKE steering wheel or take aim with CROSS HAIR hood ornament.
So the big question is, “How do I get a voucher, Chuck?”
We will be giving away a bunch of voucher codes in many different ways, and we will let you know which ones right here on the PlayStation.Blog.
The first site that is hooking you up is our friends at GameSpot! They are planning on doing two code drops, with the first one being on May 10th. They have a limited quantity, so be sure to get in there before they run out.

Yer, just went online just a few minutes ago to get the DLC guess what, no one got any it ran out straight away after 1 sec, apparently no one has got any at all, so thats bullcrap! Typical gamespot

The code probably won’t work until the game is either out or we’re at closer to the release date.
Make sure you refresh as codes are working now… Got mine.

Yeah mine says not valid too. I wish if people were giving out codes for things that can’t be used yet, they’d mention a date when they will be active. It cuts down on a lot of frustration.

Yay I got a code! I haven’t tried to enter it on PSN yet, but I imagine the codes won’t be “valid” until the game goes live on the 25th.
So I got the code, but when I try to enter it in with my PSP in the PSN store it says it is invalid!!! Someone has some explaining to do!!!

You have to enter the code you received at pre-order at http://www.godofwar.com/Skin/ while signed into your PSN account. They will then email you with a new code within a few days to enter on PSN and download the skin. This is what I did and worked for me, hope this helps!
hey i went to gamestop right now and they said they weren’t doing it… they said they hadn’t got any notification on it and i showed them this page from my iphone…. wut happened????

The browser on the ps3 wont recognize the “Register” button to create a gamespot account (required to get a code) whats the deal? I aint tryin to miss this for that reason alone. Sony throw me a code please.

So, weird question:
I’m considering pre-ordering the game from all three locations to get the bonuses and then returning two after I get the codes. Are we allowed to do that? Will the code become invalid if we do that? I only have it pre-ordered at Amazon right now…
Also, the PSHome game atm…if you win it and get a mod, is that an actual cart we’ll get come game launch? Or is it for Home? I can’t figure out what to do with it!

Hey, Chuck. I managed to get my code for the Air Raid Add-On for Modnation Racers, but every single time I have tried to enter it, it says it doesn’t or is no longer valid. Did someone else get my code first or do I have to wait until the next Playstation Store update in order to enter it?

I got me a code. It was super duper easy. I went to that gamespot page (http://www.gamespot.com/event/codes/modnationracers/?skipmc=1), logged in (I already had an account and didn’t even have to recover my password), and confirmed that I wanted the code.
It didn’t even email the code to me; it just put it right there in the page itself. In fact, it’s still there when I visit again.
I’m at work right now, so I can’t verify it; so hopefully I wont have the problem of the code not working later tonight.

What really bugs me is the fact that its a Canadian made game, getting all these US only things, Air Raid, kart contest, probably more.

I have the game now… bar some teething troubles with the servers, it’s great. For pre-ordering from game.co.uk I got Nathan Drake & Jeep, Air Raid & plane, and this guy called Nukuleer or something like that..a kind of little toxic dude with an amazing kart. Thanks to game.co.uk for getting it all to me a day before the launch….well done guys!
Soooo I just went on to GameSpot to try and see if I can still get a code. And believe it or not, I GOT ONE! Didn’t think I would but I did! Typed in the code on my PSN account, and it worked like a charm! Maybe these codes aren’t that limited afterall…. o_0

I found a forum thread about this. Find a way to look at the message source (View > Message Source in Thunderbird) and the code will be in there.

Wait, figured it out on Gmail.
Click the little triangle next to Reply on the top of the message and choose the option for “Garbled Text” and the code should show up. That worked for me, although I heard some people still had issues.

That won’t work because that is just a general webpage to show what the email looks like. You need to find out how to view the source of the e-mail itself.
And yes, it worked for me and I am one Air Raid richer :)
None of the suggestions here worked for me. I tried Viewing the source of the email, tried viewing as a web page, and viewing the source of the Web page. It’s still all X’s.
i have made it text only mode in my email and there was the code then i entered the code and it didn’t worked. -.-‘
