  • A nice hefty update.. that’s what i’m talkin about

  • Glad to see Rocket Knight finally on PSN and a demo as well. $15 is pretty steep never played the original Sega Genesis game before. Will download the demo when I get a chance to do so. I will say that we need better PS1 games on PSN.

  • Tecmo Bowl Throwback?????

  • Whoo, I support Video game Soundtracks! Now I gotta play Echochrome again to get into the music. It’s nice, I remember.
Waiting on that Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess soundtrack, saving money for that.
Birth By Sleep trailer not available for DL on PSP = ANGRY

  • I’m done with my Tecmo wanting. I bought it for xbox live today. DONE! It’s a sharp rein-visioning of the series but it definitely feels dated and kind of makes you question why it was always looked upon as so great. I’m glad I finally get to play it and see it in living color on my tv screen, though.

I was so close to buying Rocket Knight for xbox live too. I ultimately decided against it due to the digital pad and the price tag. I’ll wait and see if it drops to 10 bucks on PSN; which it should due to the lack of traffic PSN has when it comes to paying customers. Then again, why should people “wait” for the PSN to get a game and buy it for it when they can usually get the same games on Steam or XBL weeks in advance?

  • bring back MVC2 for half off PLZZZZZZ

  • Good update… But can we please get a price drop on some PSP games for the PSP Go owners like Assassin’s Creed: Bloodline or God of War: Chains of Olympus????

  • what is it with all of this excessive garbage you guys keep on putting out. get with the times alot of us want games to download or possibly even some legitimnate ps1 classics. stop sticking the knife blade into my back and twisting it round and round.
we keep you employed, and if not for us you would be at someplace like mcdonalds flipping burgers or some other menial job! STOP SCREWING US THE CONSUMERS OVER!!!!! i personally am sick to death of all these stupid videos and such. stop wasting the money we pay for what you want and start giving us what we the people who pay your salaries what we want. more games and less screwing over by you!

  • And once again just a shoutout to people who think I was loking earlier, i wasn’t sorry if I give something away right now UFG, but if you look on the back of the full box it will say Playstation Home wonder what that means?

  • Under Features

  • Why is the BFBC2 DLC messing up my recon settings? Every time I choose recon or recon+ I need to reset my settings. argh

  • That is not a PSone classic. That is a game that happens to have been on PSone at some point in time. It had terrible reviews when it was new, and that’s unlikely to have changed now, many years after the fact. Can we expect the PSone feature to be worth a damn again around E3, maybe?

  • WTF, NO pixel junk monsters 2? No one likes that crap Shooters, I WANT MONSTERS!

  • I really like the modnation demo, but it sucks that theres only one track :( I mean with 4 player split screen included you would think they would have included more than one track. Its not gonna be very fun playing the same track over and over and over.

  • cant wait to get my hands on ModNation Racers pre ordered and everything

  • Exalted_Knight…. dude now thats what im talkin about they need to put all the digimon games for the psone on there then they would make some more money

  • Bomberman Fantasy Racing…. I have a zillion other titles I would rather see.

  • @165 Digimon haha. Oh, you weren’t joking?

I still want to see Worms:Armageddon as a PS1 Classic, that game was one of the funnest PS1 games I played, loved it.

And I really hope to hear some news on Dead Nation soon. We still haven’t heard anything, maybe at E3 I suppose.

  • Good stuff for today, except… WHERE’S THE LBP2 ANNOUNCEMENT TRAILER?

  • lots of cool stuff..

    but serz sony

    KEEP FF13VS FOR PS3 ONLY!!!!!!

  • Installing Game data took FOREVER took almost 1 hr to install Modnation Demo. Fell asleep on Tiger;(

  • Sorry for being ‘off-topic’, but PlayStation.Blog Share seems to be ‘broken’. A number of ideas were submitted but they are nowhere to be seen over the last couple of weeks.. Some sort of ‘moderation pending’ or an address to the back-up would help alot.. if it’s worth it at all. lol

  • GRACE,

Can we get an official update from SCEA concerning the shortage of 120gb PS3’s please? I understand there is a model change, but I have been without a PS3 now for 1 1/2 months due to NOT finding one in a 100 mile radius. Are more being shipped to stores? EVERYWHERE online is out of stock. HELP!!!!!

  • Not a bad update but the PSone “Classic” section is BRUTAL!

    @ 103

I agree 100%. all these games are actual classics and i will gladly pay for each one:

    – Breath of Fire 3

    – Parasite Eve

    – Parasite Eve 2

    – Xenogears

    – Chrono Cross

    – Dino Crisis 2

and of course, the US release of Vagrant Story would be much appreciated!

  • I wish all games had a preview.

  • Superstrokey1123

Whats with this BS of a ModNation Racers – Online Entitlement download. Thats so freaking lame. I was super pumped for the game but im canceling my preorder now, im voting with my wallet. What a joke.

  • Im soooo glad sony disabled so many features on my ps3 for this worthless content. its so worth it being officially ignored except for the sony sponsored trolls & bigots just to be kept waiting weeks or months longer than 360 & Wii owners for all these wonderful substandard “products”. Doesn’t it make you feel make you feel all warm & fuzzy inside that we the paying customers are treated with such contempt.

  • I got the echochrome bundle since the 1,000 level demo and saving a buck was pretty much a no-brainer. The 19 tracks are just great and the levels on the demo are fun.

  • It’s a shame that PS3 being a more powerful console was a hoax all along: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2010/05/read-dead-redemption-360-vs-ps3-our-thoughts.ars

  • we need MORE PS Classics!
    (Plud redifined in HD!)

  • Just as a question, but is it possible (even in the slightest) that Valkyrie Profile Lenneth will be coming to the PSPgo? I’ve got both a 2000 and a Go, and am looking to trade in my 2000, but I won’t do it if Lenneth won’t be coming for the Go…..it’s one of my favourite series of games. (I haVe the logo tattooed on my arm -_-“)

  • Where is Tecmo Throwback? I’d appreciate at least a release date. Its like you guys dont want to acknowledge that it got released on 360 1ss, and we need suikoden 2

  • All MNR – all the time.

Is the ModNation Racers – Online Entitlement for the PSP or PS3 versions? It sounds sock-cucky either way as BUYING USED DOES NOT EQUAL PIRACY. One is legal, one illegal, end of discussion.

Really like the demo except for the loosey-goosey handling. (I don’ t mind the load times, haven’t seen too many games without those.) It’s nigh impossible to drive straight though. I think they did this to FORCE you to drift as the car seems to handle much better while drifting. It also forces you to use the “bank” option when making tracks unless you like driving head first into walls. Only 1 track in the demo doesn’t bother me thanks to the many options – items on/off, difficulty settings, speed settings, AI numbers (though I only use either 4 or 12 cars and haven’t bothered with anything in between) and the full game is out in a week. Being able to create stuff and NOT use it was a bummer at first but I can see their point.

Time to go try the Iron Man 2 demo – oh joy.

  • Here’s what I think, what we need to do is wait untill e3 and maybe they will show us great stuff like Tomba 1 and 2, tekken 3 CTR, crash bash, croc 1 and 2, gex 2, ape escape, and driver 1 and 2, so untill that time comes stay patient and wait till e3 for ps1 classics and avatars.

  • Thank you for the update. The Price Is Right game is great as is the demos.

  • “The credit card information on file is not valid” – Again the same problem with PSN?

  • Crappy ass update for the PSP store. Nice you guys suck.

  • isn’t it a little funny how the EU blog links to the US blog but not vice versa, and also

how they (EU PS blog) reply to comments, and they reply a lot!… don’t reply to my smartass, but there’s people on here that should be acknowledged.

I know you guys get crapped on pretty hard, but honestly there’s a lot of money to be had.

  • @derrickgott where I live I see 120’s all the time not so sure about 250’s though

  • I wonder, when PS4 comes out (if it ever does since Sony isn’t making anything off PS3 right now) will all of this content we’re buying be accessible on the new system? I mean, what happens to all this money we’re sinking into Ps1, PSP & Ps3 content? What happens when Sony shuts down the PSN? Is all of this stuff still gonna be viable in the future? I’d like to know that. Oh and I’d also like to make mention that someone in charge of the PSN needs to get on the @$$ of whoever makes these PSN games available for other consoles 1st as we usually have to wait weeks and months for us to get them on the PSN. Isn’t that Sony’s job to make sure their customers are getting the same treatment as the other consoles customers? Just saying.

  • No one wants any of the games you’ve updated for the PSP lately! I know I want Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3, not some re-release of prince of persia sands of times trying to be passed off as new, or some racing game! I want that game! Not posting it isn’t what annoys me, it’s that you posted the demo for every1 to download and you don’t put it in the store! Why should all psp owners get the demo but only those who don’t have the psp go get to OWN the game!!! What I’m trying to say is… If your going to post a demo for the PSP you have to post that game when it’s released too or it’s not fair for people with psp go’s!!!

  • Once again I just wanna say… ad Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3!!!
The reasons nobody wants the psp go is becuz you don’t release all the games for it you only release the sucky ones. You’d think you’d check out gamefaqs to see which games were more poular and notice that naruto is more popular than Hero of Leaf valley, that cake princess game, prince of persia, and modracers!!!

  • Grace ( or anyone else )
