  • A lot of PSP price drops!

  • I think we just need a new manager for the store.

One that will actually get on these comments and reply back.

    as for # 194

I agree 110% xbox live still does it well….sometimes.:D

if they are saving FF9 for E3 ……….well…………thats kinda stupid..

  • PSone classic Einhander would be pretty awesome.

  • I feel for ya Grace, having to deal with the complaints of lousy rude morons every week must not be easy.

Thanks for the update, for what it’s worth.

  • give us IX!!

  • @phinnv8

Speak for yourself. I don’t give a toss about Facebook & Twitter, & Youtube has a link right from the default web page on the PS3 browser. Try using the bookmarks feature. Then everything is 3 clicks away. I can access Youtube faster on my PS3 than I can on my PC, lol.

Just went back to the store and the Soldner & Uncharted avatar bundles are gone, as is the Soldner 1&2 bundle. Where’d they go?

    @megax28, bond007mgm,
What does E3 have to do with a random PS Store update? You guys are paranoid if you think it’ll be about FF9 at the expense of stuff like Resistance 3, LBP2, inFamous 2, KZ3, GT5, and probably a couple new IP’s.

  • Professor_Otaku

This U.S. update totally sucks. No FFIX??!!! Japan and Europe already have it. Where’s the love for the U.S.?? I have a PSP Go and I’ve been satisfied with it so far, but if Sony keeps releasing demos for games that they don’t release for digital download or games that all the OTHER regions have, then I might have to STOP supporting Sony all together.

  • Okay im just going to ask straight out, Grace are you ordered NOT to answer any of our questions? or do you not care? or are you just rude in general? It seems the the people that head up the other playstation stores are more hands on and you are a cold fish. How about an answer for once but I wont hold my breath.

  • FF 9 should be next week or after E3 (end of JUNE)

  • No FFIX, no purchases. Xbox LIVE Marketplace is getting some cash from me this week though!

  • Price drops have made a lot more of the downloadable PSP games a lot more enticing.

  • Keep those avatars coming.

  • Dear Sony, and any with regards to who has control over PSN releases.

I traded in my psp go weeks ago and have seen little to dissuade me from my decision. Tomorrow I shall be getting rid of my ps3 as well, and will not be buying another Sony product any time soon. This is not a way to run a business. Rules number 1 & 2 of economics is that the customer is always right, and to give the customers what they want. You have failed in this repeatedly and Ive had enough.

In summary: Screw You. Screw you right in the ear.

    -Love

  • Good psp price drops.

  • Alpha_Angel_MaxX

Great update with the price drop but im still waiting for Naruto ultimate ninja hero 3 for download since theres been a demo for some time plus the game was already in stores. When is it gonna be downloadable on PSN?

  • What about Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes?
PSP GO users want Naruto, put it in the store as you promised (PSP Essentials.)

  • I am really not into people loosing their job because they probably worked hard to get to were they are. However, seeing the lousy job a certain someone has done the past 3 years on the PlayStation Store and the constant complains from the consumers about the jog this certain someone is doing, I am very shock that this certain someone is still employed.

It seems that the PlayStation store is always getting content late when compare to the other consoles marketplace. We get demo late, games late, and DLC late. Yes, I do know that there such a thing as exclusive DLC or time exclusive DLC.

Content is submitted to SCEA for weeks and not publish on the store according to the developers/publisher themselves. It is very sad that this certain someone care very little about our complaints.

  • Backbreaker demo was supposed to release last week in the PSN store according to the developers, but here we are a week later and nothing.

  • Finally Tecmo Bowl but Im still holding out for Suikoden 2

  • …. FFIX. Why not?

  • @ 206 Paradron_Bomb:

You mean, you can use these (Fb, Wikipedia, Youtube, Google, ect.)without your PS3 freezing, or crashing [or access them] at all? What PS3 firmware do you use?

  • BACKBREAKER DEMO!!?!?!?

  • Still no uncharted 2 bundle, I’m sad.

  • Vandal Hearts ps1 classic!!!!!!

  • That is not a PSone “classic”, by any stretch of the imagination.

  • Terrible.

  • Good update PSP looks like the only system with games this summer (cheap too). PS3 line up looks sad at lest untill Sept-OCT. Every one want’s FFIX well I have it on PSOne Disk:p I just love how every one complains week after week and nothing happens and then they come back to complain some more knoing nothing is going to happen. Love you guys puts a smile on my face every time. Comments are funny:)

  • Thanks for the update. I’m loving all the PSP game price drops so I’ll be sure to download Little Big Planet and Gran Turismo soon. I hope you all get the go to put Final Fantasy IX on the store soon.

  • @righello

I’m using fw 3.30. Wired connection, Nat type 1, that’s pretty much it.

YouTube works again for me since they upgraded the flash. I use Google as my search engine, no problems there. I don’t use Facebook or Wiki so I can’t comment on those. I hit the ‘cancel’ button on certain sites so I’m not loading pages with tons of flash and jpegs running/loading. I don’t run the plug-in on Gametrailers.com for example when reading comments.

My biggest peeve is actually with Gametrailers.com in that you can no longer download vids to your PS3 hard drive due to a new javascript browser incompatibility or something. The download tab is unresponsive now. THAT…is a problem for me :(

  • Wooo! N2O!

  • findaway  |  June 1st, 2010 at 7:24 pm
I feel for ya Grace, having to deal with the complaints of lousy rude morons every week must not be easy. Thanks for the update, for what it’s worth.

How, exactly, is Grace “dealing” with the complaints? It seems to me that she isn’t. There is only 1 reply to this blog (as of time of writing) and it isn’t even hers.

  • This is a really good price for LittleBigPlanet. Now, when will Sony drop the price for Locoroco1 ($22.99) and Patapon1 ($15.99)?

  • Marketing 101. First t0 market, Tecmo Bowl has been a blast on XBox.

  • I might pick up Planet Minigolf as soon as a download code appears on Amazon.com, I refuse to pay tax on digital downloads! I don’t know why you do that Sony, you don’t have an office in my state and thus are not required to collect sales tax…

Anyways, also kind of dissapointed that Final Fantasy IX is still missing, the US is always last in getting good RPGs.

  • dear sony please o please send another firmware update that upgrades the browser, i can’t access half of the sites i used to be able to when i first got my ps3. i feel like its turning into “The System that [BARELY] does anything else”. maybe you wont update to capitalize on features but please dedicate one to upgrade the browser. Thanx SCEA You guys rule!!!!!! P.S. who is the official ps3 mascot? (NES=Mario) (X-BOX=HALO) (PS3=???)

  • The rudeness and entitlement PSN users feel they deserve never ceases to amaze me. Thank you Grace and everyone else for these updates. I look forward to next week.

  • I sure am glad I have an Xbox 360.

  • PLEASE RESPOND!
hey jeff i really need you to answer this question for me please!!

yesterday i received a message from my little nephew in English (he only speaks French) saying something that he was playing the skate demo and loved it and that i should download it and try it out, now i’m wondering if his account was hacked or are you guys allowing publishers to use our PSN ID’s and passwords to log into our accounts to possibly trick us in thinking it really is one of our friends messaging us and to make us think our friends are interested in buying a certain game that maybe i will go out and get it because he likes it?

    PLEASE RESPOND
    THANK YOU.

  • the drop in price for both LBP and Gran Turismo on the PSP might have me picking those up… tho is that just for the downloadable version or the UMD version as well…?? cause honestly, i dont think i have room on my memory card for both games… ugh…

  • FF9 is in the UK store. Last time this happened with 7 and 8, it was in the US store the next week. I don’t think they are waiting for E3. Word was June 15th.

  • I wonder if anybody consumes any of the content, before commenting on this blog. I though we were to comment on the content of this blog post and not what other countries have posted in there store. If you want to express your idea, that’s what the blog share is all about. Post it and have people vote it up.

(now for the “OLD MAN RANT”)

Also, how was gaming before internet enabled consoles? Well I’ll tell you! Demos were almost non-existent and only came in magazines! There was no “patching”, no “system update”, and I was happy. I wonder why? I think, with all this “instantaneous internets”, we have become spoil and developers have become lazy. When can I play a game that doesn’t need to be patched and DLC’ed to death. Just keep it simply, please.

  • Mies2000:

Developers have not become lazy. Quite the opposite. The demands placed on developers today far exceeds what it did 10 or 15 years ago. Games have become massively more complex and far more time-consuming to develop. A game without bugs is a near impossibility.

Besides, games from the pre-internet era had just as many bugs. We just didn’t have any freely accessible public forum (ie: the internet) where we could get together and complain about them.

If it wasn’t for internet forums, most people would never know about 99% of the bugs that get reported.

  • Xbox Live is supposedly getting Hulu support announced at E3 this year, if thats the case, and PS3 isn’t its done. I’m tired of no new features coming to PS3 ******EVER*****. Xbox has Netflix (built in not some crap disk), Live.fm, Facebook, Twitter, Cross game chat, context sensitive Xbox button, avatar integration, auto-syncing achievements, and more.

    DO SOMETHING NOW SONY!!!!!!

  • LBP is nice at $19.99.

But I bought the PS3 LBP GOTY edition Bluray from BestBuy for $20. I think LBP on PSP should go a little lower.

I will just hold onto the demo for a little longer. At $10~15, I will buy it without thinking.

    Just my thought.

  • I am all over Nitrous Oxide! I loved that game on my old PSone. Will we see Rez???

  • E3 post Jeff?

  • final fantasy ix? starting to think ps3 CAN’T do everything!

  • Hey Dax_Australia:

You make some good points. But, what about the people without internet access? They don’t get a completed game, with DLC and any fixes, that are necessary for the complete game expirence. They have pay their $60.00 just like everyone else. Shouldn’t the game be completed (DLC and errors fixed) and throughly tested before it is released?

  • N2O? isn’t that the game that got in trouble for advertising “NEVER TRIP ALONE” back in the day? I remember renting it from Blockbuster and how I thought that it sucked….oh well.

  • @Sindred

    Um….E3 starts June 15th. Derp
