I would think after E3 there would be a couple demos.

Kind of a crappy update, but I have to say, I am shocked to see 12 replies. This has to be a record for a store update.

Thank you Ro Hernandez for attempting to communicate to your customers…even if the comments are a little harsh. Please keep it up.

I thought gaming was supposed to be addictive wow!! for last 3 months i’ve been bored seriously.. Wel atleast after God of war III, and i expected sony to add more to the kratos PS3 story but nope they created a PSP game that nobody will buy.. The only things you all can come up with are MAG updates and rated E games seriously who plays those… ?? I am very bored with gaming right now.. And i am very tired of first person shooters.. its creating more lazy and fat people.. When will people realize that FPS require no skill to play.. seriously its been several days after E3 and the only game demo’s we have are the sorry NCAA 11 crap and a glitch filled Red Dead Redemption Co-op.. That took two installs to glitch away on me.. Yep gaming sucks right now for gamers that love to play challenging games.. Gladly i still have ninja Gaiden sigma II.. Which alot of lazy gamers wouldnt even touch.. SONY GOML seriously GOML..

Sony you all have a perfect opportunity right now to sock it to Microsoft, but lol the irony you all are acting micro-soft with the marketing.. Microsoft had nothing to show at E3 but Metal Gear Solid: Rising which is coming to the PS3 as well.. How about to call Warner Bros to give you all the Mortal Kombat demo. I mean seriously what are the promotion & marketing team doing to push sales for you guys.. I am owned several sony gaming consoles and right now as an adult and a gamer i am very disappointed.. Even my younger siblings are bored with gaming right now and no they don’t like modNation racing lol what is that..

Might check out that Blue Toad special. Too good of a price to pass up.

From what i’ve seen from all three companies this year sony has the momentum. And if they should strike while the opponents sword is still sheathed. Kinect lol what a joke, sony honestly you guys don’t really even need the coca-cola promotion to sell the Move. I am buying one bottomline.. its more precise and makes more sense to use.

@ClinToN – Well i would spend if they have something. I would love to play.. I probably have more sony products than you do.. Waste your money if you wish.. Or maybe you just have 8 kids or something that want to play Sonic all day.. GOML buddy..

+ glasscut on June 22nd, 2010 at 7:36 pm said:

themjestic-2 Thank you they are following the same misleading role they played last year.. They crashed our PS3’s ( btw i am on my 4th PS3 ). They promised us that world and what did we get a 3hr God of War 3 game and no DLC for it.. FAIL.. Then they say ohh buy Ghost of Sparta lol you wish.. Lets see i have Metal Gear Solid Peace walker side by side with God of sparta which one to buy hmmm well the decision is very easy here.. MGS Peace walker.. you get more with it.. if a DLC for God of War 3 was released it would sell more than Ghost of sparta guaranteed..

For those saying Sony owes us nothing, I’d like to remind you that they are a business trying to make money, if they want us to give them some money, they have to give us something in return. That is how business works. I’d be happy if there was one thing a MONTH for me to get, I’m lucking if something once every THREE comes out that even catches my interest.

I only have a PSP and many of the updates for PSP only owners have been very poor (with rare exceptions). Considering at E3 they said they would start to reinvigorate it (not sure on exact wording) and I see this update it makes me wonder how committed they are to what they said. I am happy I don’t own a GO or this post would be worded much harshly, I honestly feel sad for people who got SCAMMED by Sony into buying one.

I like the update list. Wishing there were some demos, also wishing I had or could afford some of the DL games right now. I just have 2 questions

1: Who decided what comes to PSN and when?

2: Are we going to be seeing demos of the following anytime soon? Twisted Metal, LBP2, Killzone 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Mortal Kombat…

Being rude isn’t going to get them anywhere, makes me sad when I see you saying “check back next week…” Like you owe it to them to do something.
This was a great update, A LOT of price drops. If people are so angry with it, might as well increase the prices. :)

@226 there is a ton of FANTASTIC ps1 games missing. It is unfortunate, part of the reason why i bought a psp was because it could play ps1 games, but the selection is a bit pathetic. Few of my favorites are on the psn store. Sony should do a bit of strong-arming. I’m sure there are a lot of legal barriers to getting the games on the store. Who knows who owns the licenses and intellectual properties for some of those older games anymore. (There is no excuse for square/enix’s entire ps1 library not being on the psn store, they’re already on the japanese store.

But, i dont feel bad for psp go owners anymore, because i just checked out the psp selection the psn store, and there is about 200 games psp games (out of about 600 psp games i think?

Nonetheless, a lot of the top rated psp games on metacritic are not available on the psn store. I like the idea having a virtual library of games, not so keen on the idea of paying $40 for an intangible product though (with some exceptions)

+ DanteRising on June 22nd, 2010 at 9:16 pm said:

Thank you for the update. As a PSP Go owner, I’d really be appreciative if we could get some of the older AAA titles on PSN. Is there any progress being made on releasing Metal Gear Acid or Final Fantasy: War of the Lions?

Also, Pirates! and Dungeon Siege are being re-released on UMD. Will these make it to the PSN?

Thanks again for your hard work.

No Crisis Core, no War of the Lions… I have a GO, a beautiful- sexy little machine and sadly these games have yet to be announced as PSN content. Sony- PLEASE get on the ball. Having Square Enix support the PSP, the PSP GO and the PSN should be a number one priority at some point; mainly the DD aspect. It’s really just a disappointment. I understand there may be licensing issues within Square’s hands but I would think Sony could persuade or at least influence the hand that feeds. If the fish aren’t fed, they may go elsewhere. Not that I’m unhappy, just pessimistically hopeful that these titles will come. Any idea Sony?

when can i get peace walker?
and what happened to all the great psn games. i have not heard of anything big for a while. last one that was awesome was trine and before that there were some awesome ones. you should approach some wii developers to make psn games for motion control.
anything that i can hit critters/zombies on screen with a glowing ball is a good thing. and yes i am 26.

Geezus. The whining! About every single update no matter how good it is or isn’t. And the abusive comments toward Ro!

Sony really needs to clean this up. And, frankly, the only way it’s going to happen is by banning all of these trolls. They’re scaring away any semblance of real discussion on the blog.

I figure Sony would be nervous about doing that. Anyone who gets banned can be expected to immediately stop being a customer, and banning can make some troublesome waves. But the thing is, these people are scaring away other customers.

And frankly, if any of their whining is to be believed, the whole lot of them are about to swear off of Sony any second now anyway, right? (Even though they appear every single day to whine anew)
