Im with JohnnyBlades. Heavenly Sword was just amazing in every sense. This game is also a day 1 for me as Post-Apocalyptic is my favorite genre. Ninja Theory FTW!!

I’d heard of this game, but had no idea it was a Ninja Theory title. I’m totally on board now. I agree with #1 above that Heavenly Sword was a good game that was grossly underrated. I love that Andy Serkis is on board this time around as well.

TIP: Since the story is loosely based on the old Saiyuuki tale, you guys at NT would earn some *MASSIVE* fan-service points if you could get Masaaki Sakai and/or David Collings to do some voice work — even if it’s just for a single line. Also worth super-massive fan-service points: get the band Godiego to do the end credits music!

When I first got my PS3 (a second gen 80GB) I decided to rent Heavenly Sword, given it was reviewed as being short and it was still $60 so long after its release date, and I really wish that I hadn’t just rented it. For a launch title it was visually impressive and the story really captivated, something that Ninja Theory really pulls off well. Because of these things, Enslaved will be a day 1, (or as soon as I can pull together the $60) purchase for me.

Have you stopped think which side you are really on?

Ninja Theory has earned my deepest respect as a developing studio and as story tellers! Heavenly Sword is still among my favorites! (Andy Serkis’ performace was my favorite!) And Enslaved looks like it’s taking a ton of elements straight from films and other top notch games! (I saw a few clips reminescent of Uncharted in that interview! Which totally is NOT a bad thing!)

I trust Ninja Theory… probably more than any developer! So, I’m totally excited about Enslaved!

I enjoyed Heavenly Sword, despite the crappy Sixaxis controls, so I hope this game is just as fun

I have no doubts that this will be a solid game. In fact they have a chance to outdo Ubisoft because the gameplay is very Prince of Persia like but in an Apocalyptic setting. I expect more comparisons to PoP once the game is released I’d be shock if no1 acknowledge it. Way to go Ninja Theory.

Best Character/Voice Acting in a game was in Heavenly Sword. It just needed to be longer.
