Comic-Con 2010 is here!
This week, you will want to check out True Blood, a new comic book series based on HBO’s hit show about the lives and loves of vampires, mind readers and all manner of creatures. Bon Temps, Louisiana has never been stranger, or more twisted, in a story co-plotted by TRUE BLOOD series creator Alan Ball, with a script by David Tischman (Bite Club) and Mariah Huehner, and lush art by David Messina (Star Trek: Countdown).
IDW also bring us a new volume of Hideyuki Kikuchi’s Vampire Hunter D from Digital Manga Publishing. A new breed of vampire has emerged; one which can seemingly hunt during the daytime. O-oh. Losing the safety daylight offers, panic and mass hysteria begins to grip the townspeople—inciting riots and lynch-mobs. Amidst the turmoil, the enigmatic vampire slayer known only as “D” is called in to investigate.
Jeff Smith’s beloved award-winning epic “Bone” and the ongoing “RASL” make their PSP debuts this week under the Cartoon Books imprint. Jeff will be making a number of appearances during Comic-Con – check out www.boneville.com for more info.
Matthew Michael “Matt” Murdock, or Daredevil leaps out of Hell’s Kitchen once again in the groundbreaking “Without Fear” story arc. Check out the star-studded, triple-sized 100th issue for additional WIN.
Finally, you’ll want to download G.I. Joe – A Real American Hero #155. It’s free!

Has anyone heard anything about the latest Locke and Key? I’d like to have it available before I pick up the rest of Crown of Shadows.

It is great to see G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #155 1/2. I’m excited to see #156 continue on very soon.
However, where in the world are the regular G.I. Joe series #19 and #20 from IDW? #19 was released in print over a month ago, and #20 was released in print about two weeks ago. I mean, I know the PSN comic store is usually behind a little bit, but two full issues behind now?

For that matter (continuing from my comment #13), where is G.I. Joe: Hearts and Minds #2 that hit print about 3 weeks ago?
This week marks the print releases of a new issue of G.I. Joe: Cobra II, and G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #156 (which I actually thought hit print next week).
Either Sony or IDW is behind enough that I’m about to stop following the only comic line (IDW’s new G.I. Joe continuity) that I bother to consistently collect in digital, PSN form.

Oh . . . wait (to add to 13 and 14) . . . G.I. Joe: Origins $17 also hit stores last week. If you count this week’s new print releases, the PSN Store is behind by at least 5 issues in IDW’s G.I. Joe line. What gives?

Hahaha, what’s with that little fang poking out of Bill’s mouth?
Nevermind that’s not appropriate in modern vampire fiction, it’s not even appropriately shadowed to provide an illusion of depth and presence.
Which makes this all look like cash-in instead of something genuine that better colors in the show’s fiction.

Im with you, im not picking up the Crown of Shadow arc until the 6 and final issue. Also its been out for quite some time now that a digital copy should be on the store by now. But at least i have some Hush, Bayou, Azure, and Fringe to pass the time.

More FREE comics please.
With Comic-Con happening I would have hoped there would be more free or free preview comics to celebrate the event. I guess the next big free comic giveway is Free Comic Book Day 2011?
