We told you something legendary was about to happen! One of the hits of San Diego Comic-Con weekend was the debut of the full cinematic trailer (a whopping 5 and a half minutes) for DC Universe Online, entitled “Who Do You Trust?” In addition to being shown on Spike TV, the trailer also made its Comic-Con premiere at the DCUO panel discussion to thunderous applause.
In DC Universe Online, you’ll be able to team up with legendary DC heroes like Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern… or pledge allegiance to the Joker, Lex Luthor, and other classic villains to determine the fate of the DC Universe. During the struggle for supremacy, you’ll team up with thousands of other players online from your PS3, customize your own skills and abilities, and ultimately create the most powerful super-being ever depicted in a videogame setting
So now that we know that gamers can become the next great legend of the DC Universe, the next question is whether or not they’ll save it, or conquer it? Guess we’ll find out when the game hits the PS3 on November 2nd.
This 6 minutes movie makes me eyes water, in a way that not even Pixar movies can achieve, Sony Pictures should purchase Blur Studio to have their own Pixar.
This game is going to be awesome but it will cost 240$ to play for the first year because the game cost 60$ and there’s a 15$ a month subscription fee for the PS3 and the PC

Seriously!? this why i got a ps3 and now SOE wants $15 a month from screw that! No not worth it!
I wouldn’t buy this either with a monthly subscription you already have to pay 60 Freaking dollars for the game and then they want another 15 bucks a month I’ve seen the gameplay and it’s not impressive at all. It looks crappy to be honest.
@ Viglin you said POSSIBLY could go on for years but what if no one really buys the game and the people who do are out 60 bucks plus whatever they’ve payed for subscription fees up until that point.
There have been countless MMO games that have come and gone and the suckers who payed for it are the ones who suffer.
For the people wondering about whether or not PS3 users will be able to play this free. I’m sad to say you will have to pay just like PC users will have to pay to play this game.
Not only would it be unfair on PC users, but if Sony did they would lose a lot of sales on the PC version, as many people who will play this on the PC might not have a PS3.
forgot to add love the trailer video, great to see Superman kicking Black Adam’s [DELETED]! The best, if it wasn’t for Superman you wouldn’t have all the other great heroes.
Having just checked up on City of Heroes website, to play City of Heroes monthly costs $15.00, however the company that makes City of Heroes isn’t as big. I think if Sony dropped the fee down to $5-$8 a month they could get more people from City of Heroes over to DC Universe Online.
