    lmao

  • I just noticed Section 8 for $9.99, Wow that’s a great price.
I might have to get it now.

  • For those who want 0/5 stars thing… you might as well not even vote lmfao

  • Not bad, I’ll buy some avatars and those Juanes songs for RB.

  • BTW I already have Syphon Filter from Qore which is MINES TO KEEP!

As a Plus subscriber, you guys need to put discounts on NEW stuff, not the stuff that’s been out for a year or more! Most of the stuff being put on there I have already!

  • Thanks good + Games

  • #1: Concur. As much as I love Sony how hard is it to make an update at the same time every week? I understand a lot goes into it but if Company A can’t make the deadline than Company A content doesn’t go in the update till the following week, its pretty simple really. Fix the problem already.

#34: Free theme’s will come throughout the month, just like the first month.

I’m all about the free games with PSN+ and I love the service but lets not make everything extremely old crap ok Sony? Wipeout HD was huge for the first month even if I already had it but lets not buckle ok?

Now I’m off to download my free stuff :)

  • Already own Critter Crunch but it’s great that now those that are PS+ subscribers will get to try it. My guess is that developers get $0.50-1.00 for every time their game is downloaded by a PS+ subscriber so every bit of profit helps them.

  • I might just pick up that avatar pack, mainly b/c it has 10 that aren’t even in the store :)

  • Glad to see 3 PS1 games make this update. Still can we get a release date for Earthworm Jim HD?

  • what is this i dont even

Any GOOD PSOne Classics coming up? I was hoping for something like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, an amazing, addicting, and fun PlayStation game, and got decade-old Disney movie games?

  • what is it with these 12 year olds crying about the time that a update is sent through. There are factors that can cause these things to take longer or shorter times. If there is a lot of data sometimes the thing will take longer. try to not whine people I have no cheese for you.

  • One more thing: WHERE’S CRASH TEAM RACING!?

  • Keep the content of PS+ coming, loving it all! :) Looking forward to next weeks lineup. But as others have said, is this the start of month 2, or is that next week? Thanks :)

  • Glad I didn’t get Playstation Plus. Looks to be a waste of money. And what’s with the ps1 games? Is this Disney/Dreamworks/Pixar week or something? That’s just kind of pathetic.

  • Another disappointing PSP update… Some good PS+ stuff though

    *sigh*

  • Thanks for Mars Table! Where EJ HD?

  • Transformers DLC, Piyotama PSP and an enjoyable PS+ update. Thank you :D!

  • Pretty good update. To bad I already have Critter Crunch and Syphon Filter. Did download the new table for Zen Pinball and gonna try out the Section 8 demo. If I like it $10 is a pretty good price.

  • Aw I was hopping for some free Avatar’s & Themes for Playstation Plus Subscribers, But I’m still happy with them free games :)

  • so where is the plus for us regular psn store buyers?we already have all this stuff or have passed on because they suck…give us something new gosh, not the games that nobody wants anymore..so whats next for free games?crash gun chaos?seriously it starting to piss me off

  • I never got my Qore Syphon Filter code, so this is a great chance for me to finally play a SF game. Want to see whats the big deal with this series.

    @49 Gewaw-Magax
That Crapcom for you. Ripping consumers over and over. Well you really can’t blame them because people continue to support their tactics

    @1 Rakis
I agree 200% with your comment

  • I don’t think anyone should be fired; but an actual publish time for the store updates would be super-awesome. It’s a little odd to see Sony do anything so random. Sony has always been more efficent than that (or at least that was my perception).

  • pretty nice update, but if this is the second month update for psn + this sucks for me cause i already have critter crunch and while it’s fun it’s pretty old…….going from wipeout which is 20 bucks normally to an 8 dollar game is kinda weird……lol for all i know a big months update game could be detuned…..newer games would be a lot nicer considering as most ppl wouldn’t have them yet and this is what i’m now afraid of that i’ll have all the games they keep putting up for free……..

  • Being a plus member rocks! The discounted game prices have almost already paid for the subscription. Soon I will be making a profit from my plus purchase.
    SONY PSN+ FTW

  • Wherevis earthworm Jim HD !!!!!!!!!

  • Good update….Lots of demos and avatars…Im not particularly fond of any of them though, Wish we could get some variety, uncharted and street fighter was cool at first..

But lets see some other games up there plz.

  • For the person posting #1 and anyone else that agrees, if you have a career, you will realize that for every action a company makes, there are about 20+/- people that have their hands in it. Getting an exact time (which I don’t believe was ever promised) is near impossible. More than likely they are aiming for Tuesday EOB, which was right on.

By the sounds of your post, it feels you are trying to speak for me and everyone else. Don’t do that. I will speak for me.

If you go out and become employed, more than likely the update will be ready in time for you when you arrive at home. Don’t fret.

  • Oh yeahhh…

Still waiting for that Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 DLCs to come back up…

    Xbox has them…

  • @62 dude2341
“what is it with these 12 year olds crying about the time that a update is sent through. There are factors that can cause these things to take longer or shorter times.”

^^^That don’t seem to be an issues with the other two HOME Console providers/companies.

  • omg thanks sony for ummm wait idk what to thank u guys for i mean hell the uk gets yet an other game before us (earthworm jim) am i the only one here who thinks people at the us sony department is sleeping on there job i mean what about megaman legends 1 and 2 (and dont say ask capcom cus what u think ive been doing off and on for a few years now) or better yet some real ps1 classics like xenogears more rpgs for starters i mean come on sony pick up the slack

  • Woooot! I liked today’s update!! Just ad-on contento for PS3, but that seems fine xD

  • I’ve got a question…when I purchased SSFIV I received a code for one of the costume packs. Atm I don’t see the bundle around even tho its suppose to be out now. Does this mean I have to purchase every costume separate if I want them all or is it just not showing up right now?

  • Thanks for the update Grace! :D

    Just a couple of questions,

Does this mean we get two Ps1 games per month and two PsN games and 3 Minis if we subscribe to PSN+? or is this the start of the 2nd month update? I thought the 2nd month started on Aug. 3rd?

  • Are there any plans to put Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden 2, Tales of Destiny, or Xenogears onto the PSN? Sorry for posting if this info is located somewhere but I would really enjoy picking up these games to play on my PSP. Any response would be much appricated.

PS I have really enjoyed playing the old FF’s and Wild Arms games again.

  • 0/5 stars, again. My PS3 and PSPgo have so much dust on them now.
I cannot believe i’m going to say this, but i’m honestly thinking of picking up an xbox >< This is awful.

  • Nice update overall, lots of content, nothing really to complain about…

…IF you would have released Castle Crashers, your verification process is a joke, what takes so long???

  • Nice update! Nice to see Flower and Section 8 demos finally.

And to all you people who want a set time for the update, pick a time. You can check the store any time from 8pm EST Tuesday night until 5pm the following Tuesday and a new update is guaranteed to be there. The only people that seem to have problems are the ones constantly F5ing this blog for three hours every Tuesday afternoon. It’s kind of ironic that you’re pounding your fists for a set time seeing as how that puts an end to both “late” and early updates. Personally I’d rather have an update when it’s done.

  • virgils_mustache

Another week and another failed attempt at supporting the PSPGO.

Thanks Sony for working over some of your consumers.

  • Seriously! if we in europe doesnt get any PSN+ content every week soon enough im gonna throw my ps3 in the wall :)

  • Making Syphon Filter the ps1 game for psn+ was a kick in the groin. Loyal Qore folks already had this anyway. I already bought Wipeout HD and Critter Crunch as well. So far it’s a total waste of 50$ for me. It would be really nice to be able to pick from a few each month, or at least make sure you haven’t given away the ps1 game already. Sorry for the rant, I’m just really frustrated with my purchase.

  • TRANSFORMERS: WFC DLC!!!!! SCORE! Free games! Score!
Section 8 is a great game. Good deal if you don’t own it already. And FINALLY a demo for FLOWER. I always wanted to try it out

    *Proud PSN+ Subscriber*

  • people who sit in front of their ps3’s all day waiting for updates typically dont have jobs (nor lives ) let alone have any knowledge of this biz . and the fact that whether games comes out at noon or 4: 00 PM has such a impact on you is a great testament of how shallow and empty you have allowed your life to become … do something with yourselves .

  • what a treat. never could afford syphon filter but loved the demo you MAILED me back in the day. THANKS SONY!

  • Nice update for ps3 plus members. Just when things were looking grim, you guys pull a rabbit out the hat. Nice job. Its really nice to see 4 playstation one games too……not what we have been asking for but its really nice to see 4 at once. Good to know that you guys are still working on it and are some-what listening to our requests. …………………… I would love to see DOOM as a ps1 classic download, also…… Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Gran Turismo 2, Need for Speed 1, Twisted Metal 1, Loaded, Bushido blade, Die Hard Trilogy, and NBA JAM T.E. I’ll stop there for now.

  • Who’s picking the PS1 Classics?

That is… such a disappointing selection of… Disney crap. Half of them are based on crappy movies, and gamers have little love for games based on movies as it is.

At least there’s a Flower demo, I guess.

  • flower demo? lol

  • Yeah Sony, set an official update time, and make it Midnight PST, so all these whiners call shut the hell up when they get the update several hours early!

  • Glad that I canceled and got refunded for plus, another lame update for psn.

  • Always proud to be a PS+ subscriber
