  • Grace sucks at customer communication

  • @290

i’d be happy if sony at least came out and said “sorry, we admit it was a huge mistake, and we will no longer be supporting the go. please go back to UMDs”. i think the last psp game i bought new was harvest moon, which showed up on the psn almost a month after the umd. but unfortunately, people will claim that its not sonys fault, that its the publishers for holding out, but its not.

sony charges up the [DELETED] for things to be on the psn and then charges per download. its why the box gets so many great games and we get…minis, even when the publishers give sony the material, like castle crashers and earthworm jim HD, sony decides how long they’re gonna keep it. for all we know, sony is sitting on a stockpile of demanded games buy choosing to hold off.

ive come to the mindset that all back catalog games will never be released again. if crisis core, one of the most highly demanded psp games isnt up after this long, it shows what kind of dedication sony has.

  • why are some avatars ps+ only? i left micro$oft to avoid monthly fees. I wouldnt even mind paying for the avatars. That said, i do prefer the PS store over the XBL Marketplace. More organized.

  • ha! one of only two games i paid full price for is now free with ps+.

    oh well.

i guess i can be comfortable knowing that i actually own the game. anyway, i think it was worth paying for… with discounted points.

with this whole thing i have definitely been discouraged from buying games at full price. i held off on echochrome and cuboid and was able to pick them up at a discounted price. i’m glad i held off on picking up an episode of blue toad because i realized the amount of game play just isn’t worth the price.

i now have ~$75 worth of points and am waiting patiently for the games on my wishlist to go on sale (or be free). i don’t think i will buy anything unless it is discounted because i don’t want to be annoyed later when it goes on sale.

  • @megamixer

So you’re saying I can’t d/l the complete costume pack then, right?

I don’t know why it’s a problem for PSN and it would only help them if they fix it.

  • Finally, some decent PS1 classics. I might pick up Hercules and A Bug’s Life. Had A Bug’s Life on PS1 and I loved it.

  • Grace or Ro,

Good update in general, but we need better support for the psp go. Please post an upcoming release schedule for the psp store letting us know what games are coming in future weeks (similar to what major nelson does for the xbox). Just letting us know what games u are working on bringing to the network may slow down some of the negative comments your costumers are posting. I hate wondering all week what games, sales, add ons, etc are coming to to psn store only to be disappointed at 8pm EST. I really believe posting a release schedule will benefit the store and ease your costumers minds. Thanks for reading.

  • yesss i support TJ5678 comment , we need more psp support , where are the psp demos ? valkyria chronicles 2 is coming out soon , wheres the demo ? God of War : Ghost of Sparta is coming out this holidays , wheres the demo ? Eyepet? Kingdom Hearts? what about more psp themes? Fat Princess theme? Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 theme? Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker theme? Motorstorm Arctic Edge theme? active psn friends list? better web browser ? come on the psp has some truly amazing games , we want better support sony

  • Great update foe PSN Plus members keep it up!

  • Great update, but now I can’t purchase anything from PSN.

  • How do I get the free content??? I keep finding plus has a $50 price tag on it, how did people subscribe to plus for free?
I want the free downloads too but if I stupidly pay for plus the downloads that come with it are obviously NOT FREE. Back to grade school for the employee at Sony who wrote this rubbish.
I almost believed you guys were giving something away to loyal PS3 owners for free – other than BS – LOL

  • Where is Earthworm Jim HD??? i read on IGN that its on the Store

  • I usually keep my mouth shut, but this is now the 3rd or 4th week in a row that has been disappointing for PSP owners…not to mention us PSP Go owners. I was under the impression that there would be some kind of support for the system? It seems like there was an interest in selling games through the PSN store for a few months in 2009, but now, there hasn’t been a back-catalog update in how long? Exactly how hard is it to acquire a title from a company and add it to the store?

  • Man ughhhh i hate not having good PSP GO games update the game list asap!!

  • Could someone please explain in great detail why we are not able to alphabetize or sort demos and purchased PSN games? Finding the game I want to play in my long list is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.

I haven’t bought a PSN game in about 6 months, and I will not buy any more until this tiny feature is added. It just makes no sense why it is not in there! Do Eric Lempel and his team honestly not think of this kind of stuff? You would think that something this simple, necessary, and painfully obvious would have been implemented in one of the first updates in 2006!

  • another bad update for psp users… seriously 1 psp game? out of the hundreds games you guys have backed-up you can only release 1?

what is it going to take for you guys to listen? even though i know you guys dont listen its really sad that you guys ignore us not only on this blog but for us Psp users. ill admit it was a stupid idea to get a go, but it was mainly because of those false promises you guys made.

Now unless these “classic” (for the ps1) is any “clue” that a certain disney game being release soon will be heading to the Psn then ill be happy.

Its just sad that i have a “Psp” and cant even play great psp games…

  • UnholierThanThou

Ummm… *Flower* demo?!? Over a YEAR after release?!? Ooooo-kayyyy… Anyway, I already got the Kane and Lynch demo LAST WEEK on the UK store. It sucked. If you’re reading this and haven’t tried it out yet, don’t bother. The grainy “film effects” are annoying as hell and don’t exactly cover up how bad the animation looks. Plus the controls are shyte. Anyway, my rant is over. I’m just glad Earthworm Jim will be here soon. Finally, no more having to fire-up my chip-modded original Xbox to play it on the SNES or Genesis emulators!

  • The people complaining about how EU gets more content than we do should head on over to blog.eu.playstation.com and actually read their users’ comments. Their senior store manager does admit that they have less.

To Grace and Ro, and any other Playstation, please respond to your subscribers’ comments here in the Games blog. That’s something that everyone has been wishing for even more than content, and something that you can actually control. I hope you realize that you are the face and personality of SCEA to us, and right now that face is blank and looking the other way.

Even if you are just fending off the same old complaints and whining, at least let us know we are being heard. 300+ comments is a lot to read through but hell, just pick a page and make 3 responses or something. We read every single reply. I’m keeping the faith in you guys.

  • after buying pspgo i waited about a good month for final fantasy crisis core…than few month after i just told myself after few month maybe they will have..here i am checking after good 2 and half month of waitting to find out they havent put up any decent psp game..why they hell did they import pspgo into NA if all they gonna do is upload ps one games..now im even questioning if they are gonna bother putting kindgom heart birth by sleep on the release date….all i gotta say is pspgo is a [DELETED] WASTE OF MONEY

  • people just like to complain

  • I can`t buy nothing on PSN

    Because SONY banned my ENTROPAYCARD

Less money for SCEA i Think …….. good move ….

  • I’m having an issue trying to find the Super Complete Alternate costume pack For SSF4.
All I want to do is buy it and its not showing up in the store on my account but it is up on my friends stores for purchase. What’s up with this, is anyone having any issues?

  • So I guess I can’t DL the complete costume pack for SSF4 because I bought the first stand alone costume pack months ago. What’s up with that? Capcom doesn’t mant to make a few extra bucks of me? Please fix this, I need some new threads for my fave game.

  • Great update but I have one request for the PSone classics: XENOGEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can’t see the SSFIV Complete Costume Pack either and I haven’t bought any of the previous ones. I did redeem the free Amazon.com preorder costume pack code so maybe that’s why? If so that’s completely stupid.

  • As a german plus member, I thank you Sony for stealing my money. We neither get half the service nor the content that the people from the us get. Oh btw, weekly updates are nice, aren’t they? But monthly updates with half the content will do for the europeans, right?

The german/european blogs are filled with discontent that you caused, because you treat us like 2nd class customers. I hope this will heard, but I doubt it.

  • what the F! shark week theme is only available in US?

  • WTF! PS+ did not get a European update? what happened to ones a month?

  • Are we gonna have dino crisis 2?
