  • Naughty Bear DLC?? I gotta try Naughty Bear. I don’t even think I read the Uncharted Indra thing I downloaded! Should do that. Maybe I’ll try the Mafia 2 demo.

  • One good PS1 classic in two months…

  • It’s great to finally have CTR on the U.S. PS Store even though I still don’t understand why it took this long to release the download of this 1st party game in the U.S. (Japan & Europe had it for about 2 two years or so). Anyhow, I just bought it & I’m downloading it now. Thanks.

  • I want to see some Star Wars Themes or Star Wars Avatars. :(

  • It’s OFFICIAL!!
SONY Just Changed the name From Quore to PS+ (Added $25 to the subscription) and we all fell for it!!! Atleast that’s what it looks like…cause the ONLY thing we are getting with this PS+ updates is the OVERRATED Quore Subscription Package!!!
    Game Trials? Couldn’t Care Less!
    Minis? Coudln’t Care Less!
Early Demos? Depending on the Game, and How Early we get em before the Game actually hits the store (Then Yes I’m Interested)
But Really All I signed up for was the ADD ONS and Free Full Game Tittles That Sony Promised, But havent delivered!! (Critter Crunch & Wipeout HD…is That All?)
Now we’re in our first Update since Sony (Out of Nowhere changed from a weekly update to Bi-Weekly and We get the WORST UPDATE of them All!)

  • But Don’t Worry My Fellow PS+ Subscribers we will be seeing GREAT PS+ Updates from Sony (Though we might have to wait till June-July of Next Year Just around the Time our subscriptions is about to Expire…Just so we can forget ALL about the first 11 months of Bad Updates!!)

You Know what will Make My PS+ Subscription worth EVERY PENNY? IF Atleast We (PS+ Subscribers are able to Transfer Our Singstar Songs (purchased from the Singstore) from 1 PS3 to a New 1 with no Problem!!! (even if it deactivates it from the Old PS3)

  • Again I Seriously think that Xbox Owners were complaining about the EXACT SAME THINGS that you guys are complaining about when Xbox Live first launched.

    Just sayin’.

  • I subscribed to playstation plus, what happens with my existing Qore subscriptiion? Do we get any credit at all?

  • Another week and STILL no Blacklight: Tango Down. Zombie Games has yet to specifiy exactly what is taking them so freaking long to release it on the PS3, only merely stating in a vague fashion that “some feaetures aren’t working right on the PS3, we’re trying to fix it”. God, the whole disconnect between gamers and developers is right unsettling. Things can only get worse down the road.

As for the update proper, I appreciate that a TRUE PSOne classic has finally been released, and while I have not exactly been looking forward to Mafia II, a demo of an eagerly awaited game couldn’t hurt.

    Above average update, appreciate it.

  • 3 words….CRASH TEAM RACING !!!!!!

  • Crash Team Racing, Mafia 2 demo, and Valkyria Chronicles 2 Demo. Good update to me. :D

  • Great update. I’m laughing at the price of Section 8 and how it keeps going up by $5 each week. So glad I got it when it was on sale for $10.

I do wish the Playstation Plus content could have been a little better, but it’ll do. I was wondering if there’s a chance we could get Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver for free or even at a discounted price.

  • its about time you guys could have CXTR, I’ve had it for years and recommend it to everyone here

  • I meant CTR not CXTR

  • @ The response to 95

    The PS+ FAQ says…

“Each month there will be dynamic themes, premium avatars and premium game elements/add-ons for you to download”

Sony may not have lied yet, but you guys are coming pretty close. If the next Plus update in two weeks marks the start of month 3, which is four weeks after Critter Crunch marked the start of month 2, then Sony has failed to deliver the promised avatars, dynamic themes and add-on content for month 2.

Now if you’re going to push the start of month 3 back, making it six weeks since month 2 began, then I suppose you have one last opportunity to fulfill your promises, but even then, you need to offer a pretty hefty amount of themes and avatars and a piece of add-on content to match the amount offered during month 1, which people like me signed up for believing the amount of avatars and themes would be consistent month to month. Even then, it will have taken Sony six weeks to match what was offered during the first four weeks of PS+.

  • @#156

No you don’t get a credit, why would you? You just keep downloading Qore like you usually would.

  • wow…I’m just amazed at the amount of people who really don’t read the blog and didn’t actually see the memo about the ps+ being every 2 weeks. call me stupid for checking it everyday and for knowing whats up but if you think about it, I’m not upset about the fact that there isn’t a lot of content. on a side note, i acutally dont like the one hour trials you guys are offering. im never one to complain but these are old old titles. i like + but hope the trials get better as we go. oh and good update.

  • Literally nothing for me this week. First time in a while, so thats ok by me

  • Finally Crash Team Racing!!! Whooooo!!!!

  • @154

Then I’ll guess I’ll have to wait till next year to re-subscribe. What a waste of my money.

  • Well, at least with 50 bucks, i can buy whatever NEW game i want. Yeah, i know the P+ subscription give you a status in the community, but for me,with 50 bucks in my pocket i have the freedom to buy what i REALLY WANT.
I was ready to plunge in the ps+, but c’mon sony! i can’t give you my hard earned money, without knowing why i’m exactly paying for, at least two months in advance (Like in EU).

  • While I personally have only found a handful of items in PS+ to be compelling thus far, I’ll again add the perspective I did a while back. I have been tracking the “value” of PS+ since Day 1 (value of “free” games, “free” add-ons, discounts, etc.), except for those things that can’t be easily quantified (the 60 minute game trials, for example). As of now, counting forward from Day 1 of PS+, the service has provided $123.67 in free (either while subscribing or straight-up free) content, along with $67.36 in total discounts, adding up to a total value thus far (though your own “mileage,” like mine, will probably vary a LOT from this total) of $191.03, which, if you actually make use of EVERY free download and EVERY discount (which, frankly, no one will), then you’ve nearly hit 4x the 15-month subscription fee in value thus far.

Y’know, just to add a little bit of perspective.

Personally, I’ve used much less than that, though I do believe that as of today I may have reached the point where the “freebies” and discounts I’ve actually used *have* reached a total that equals or exceeds the $49.99 price tag. (I figure I’ll calculate that exact number every quarter or so.)

  • I was really hoping for more Summer Sales. PJ Shooter was a nice game for a couple days. Great game, but very short.

  • I like the update and VC2 but i just truly not liking the PSN+ update :(

  • I cannot believe this is an average rating of 3.8. It should be 5 blocks. That’s just proof of all the haters, you play on a PS3 or a PSP or maybe even a PS2 and yet you still don’t give them props for an amazing week in releases. RDR Killers and Legends, Scott Pilgrim and who knew a Mafia 2 demo was coming? It’s icing on the cake. Not to mention Plus subs got the sweetness this week. Although, I’m not a Racers fan, some other people undoubtedly are since it’s a sequel and they get dibs. Phenomenal. I’ll be on Plus soon Sony.. When you announce officially the monthly sub in DC Universe Online will be free for + subs. Get to it Gamers, the flock is coming.

  • Yes! Finally the Red Dead Redemption add-on! I’ve been waiting for this for a while. Not interested in all the other junk there is.

  • Just I also have I would just like to point out to all you “PS+ minus” people that I got all my money out of the service, and that is just only about 5 weeks in. And since it is a new service I can only imagine it getting better and better. We just have to wait and see…

  • do anyone know if deathspank is going on sale any time soon

  • How about we all start “PSN strike” until they realized what they have done.

  • zen pinball add on when !!!????

  • Crash Team Racing, one of the best ps1 games…

Really thanx! It’s been a while since we psp/ps3 players claimed it, though…
Well, keep up the (late) good work and please add some other great games : outrun 2006, jojo’s bizarre adventure, rival schools, some more snk like wild ambition, marvel vs capcom, capcom vs snk.
What about neo-geo games for psp? I want to fill up the file in my memory stick…

    Thank you for reading.

  • So, any excuse for the game to be inferior on the PS3? I thought development focus shifted to the PS3:
    http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=403682

  • I wish I saw more positive comments from people enjoying their PS+ subscription, such as myself, but I’m too busy playing the content that I get rather than needlessly complaining here haha.

  • Having now finally seen how the Playstation Plus version of Qore works as it is like a free game or Mini where you only have it for a limited time. This one is worse as you only have it for 30 days instead of the normal 365 or as longas your subscription is available.

So I guess i now know I need to resubscribe to Qore at the additional $20 a year to ensure I have archive access to my Qore content.

    How very disappointing.

  • I agree with #43 =]

  • Hey Grace, Kristi, or Ro, Quick Question

If I previously had the disc version of Red Faction, and I purchase the Digital version, will my save file and trophies merge over?

  • The PSN+ content is a joke.

  • when is psn going to give us black light tango down demo for all of us i saw the gameplay on youtube.com oh my god the graphics looks amazing and fastpaced please put out as a demo and please give us medal of honor public beta and killzone 3

  • Still waiting for true PS1 classics.

  • stop using this forum to gripe about PS+

Voice your opinion through the PS+ survey recently emailed to subscribers

I love PS+ QORE, MINIS, PS GAMES, AVATArS, GAME TRIAls, EXCLUSIVE DEMOS, etc. cant beat it PS+>gamefly less expensive and you get to keep kewl stuff!!

  • 182 comments vs two replies. I’m shocked but I know others have said this is normal. I just never paid attention to it but wow, and this isn’t even isolated. This is now a weekly recurrence. Every week one or two random replies and everything else is ignored.

  • I agree with SpyDudeFX – it seems that the most important comments are ignored. Isn’t there someone whose role is to do community management?

  • reply by survey knock off the criticism in forums use playstation.share for content suggestions and grow up

  • So after being a two year subscriber of Qore only 2 games have be free?!? wtf, sure they’re both great games but only 2. How could they offer HVB as a discounted game for plus subscribers when its a free download for annual Qore subscibers. Really?!? Come on folks, get with it.

A free $10 game every quarter would be nice. Would it kill ya to give Qore and Plus Subscibers flOw, Pixel Junk Eden, Battlefield 1943 or even Pain should be free by now. We all know the real money is with add-ons. People, including myself will pick up almost any add on DLC to bleed every last drop out of our games.

With that said, all I ask is this. Will the let us the Plus and Qore subscibers know in advance what dlc game forcast is in the future. I’m holding off buying games from the store, cuz who knows when it’ll be discounted or free. thx for your time

  • Is Red Faction: Guerrilla shareable up to 5 PS3 systems?

  • I would just like to say that I am really enjoying Scott Pilgrim. Awesome, awesome game!

  • PS+ is preety sweet if your NEW to PS3.
But Hardcore gamers that have been there since day 1 it’s a total rip off. Most of us have those Games. That is the only problem I have with it. I’ve been with PS since 1996.

  • Will Scott Pilgram be ported over to the psp?

  • The sale pricing on Section 8 is interesting;
it went on sale a few weeks ago, and now the price is slowly creeping back up to the original price…

As far as PS+ offerings go; I did not subscribe because it did not seem to offer enough content for me. Nearly all of the PS+ offerings are content which is not very new. Will this change in the future?
