Hi everyone! Recently, we announced a number of great new PSP packs will be available this year – the Madden NFL 11 PSP bundle was made available earlier this week, the InviZimals PSP Entertainment Pack will be available this October, and the God of War: Ghost of Sparta PSP Entertainment Pack will be in stores this November. Now, we’re taking the action straight into back-to-school with a ton of other great games for just $9.99 (MSRP).
Back in June, we debuted the PSP “Favorites” software line, a value line that brings you a great selection of your favorite PSP titles at an even greater price – $9.99. We’ve added more games for you to choose from, some of which are already available now and others that are coming soon, such as Burnout Legends, Capcom Classics Collection: Reloaded, Capcom Classics Collection: Remix, Dark Stalkers: Chaos Tower, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Medal of Honor: Heroes, Sid Meier’s Pirates! and many more. To date, we have nearly 25 PSP “Favorites” available in the library and you can expect this number to grow well into this holiday season. Soon, games included in the PSP Favorites library will have “Favorites” on the packaging. Make sure to look out for it when you’re at your local retailer. As a marketing device, I find Marcus inoffensive. That said, all of my portable gaming/film-viewing is done on the PSP.

@58 I like Patapon, but if you get Patapon2 there’s no need for the first one, simple as that. Patapon2 has all that the first one had plus lots more stuff, best PSP game hands down :)

Great commercial, but who knew it would send people into rage on a site like Kotaku. XD Handheld games (PSP or DS) will always be way deeper than almost all games on the App Store.
i have just beaten MGS: Peace Walker WOW what a game !!!, im working on MediEvil Resurrection, Jack and Daxter The Lost Frontier and ModNation Racers after i beat those games i think i will get Twisted Metal Head On before Valkyria Chronicles drops on PSN , hey John when are we getting the God of War Ghost of Sparta demo on PSN ? come on , i want to play it so bad !!!!
PLEASE reduce the price for assassin’s creed bloodlines for the PSP… You can buy the UMD for 17 dollars on Amazon.com or walk into any gamestop and buy it for 20 dollars. You guys have it up there for 40. Come on guys please update this!
How about adding all older Sony titles to this line? I mean, seriously, you have Untold Legends, one of which was a launch title, still at $15. (I have the UMD, but I want to buy it on PSN because of the terrible loading, but I’m not paying $15+ again for it).
Yes, I realize it’s SoE, but you people at Sony need to realize you’re on the same team and play well together.
And while dissing the iPhone is fun, perhaps you could convince Square Enix to put their PSP games up on PSN, not the iTunes store (Final Fantasy 1&2, and the PSP remake of FFT…)
I just wanted to say Thank You for this Sony. Due to this program, I started out with a PSP and three games for $100. That was about four to five weeks ago. Now I have over 22 games and counting. I believe I have almost all of the $9.99 games you have put out so far(many of which were at this $10 price for the past 3 weeks before yesterday’s announcement), besides the following which I will try and locate for purchase soon.

•Pinball Hall of Fame

Literally it’s just all of a sudden some dumb cocky kid shows up in the world.
When the 3DS hits, Sony’s going to need a lot more than a kid who doesn’t even appeal to core gamers to sell PSPs. Why they chose this Marcus kid, I don’t know. The people who are interested in PSPs are core gamers, and those Marcus ads don’t make me want a PSP over an iphone, droid, or even a DS. Sorry Sony, you have a great home console, but you need to work on your handhelds.
