Nice update for the PS3 as I will have things to buy this week for my PS3 from the Playstation Store, but I don’t like how my PSPgo always get the short end of the stick.

Very week updates for the PSP every week, not even a new demo. I want to like my PSPgo but I can’t if PSN updates for a system I spent 350$ for (with tax and 3 year warranty add up).

Whatever, atleast my PS3 has something, but still an issue for me and other PSP owners.

How about giving the PS PLUS Members FREE ACCESS to your upcoming Digital Music n Video Player thingy…

Since us PS + subscribers are now getting hosed by getting 1 update, every 2 weeks. That’s so BS. i’m sorry, but that is. That 1st week, we were all happy, web sites commented on WOW, Look at all that free content they got for the 1st week! Then it’s been ALL down hill from here.

Seriousy, when you were in your Production meeting talking about, What are we going to give them each week?
Then, someone pulls out a white board, and writes down, ALL the DLC, Map Packs, PS mini’s, Avatars, Wall Paper, Characters and on and on.
Did you make them all break it down and “balance” out the content, and divide it by 52 weeks. An that’s WHEN you finally opened your eyes, and saw that there is squat in inventory, then told them to redo it, and make it bi weekly, that way, when they get those PS minis and not much else, it will LOOK like a lot!

@LeeorV

so using same common sense as you,
SONY should Never give more avatar, dlc, and free games from now on. cuz they already give the entire contnent for years subscription on first month.

you think we already have our 50$ value, for stuff we’ll never spend a $ on it.

i know what you mean if you try to calculate how much SONY give to you, but dont count “free” games on the list, cuz they are NOT OUR.
and the minute you’ll finish your subscription you’ll looses access to all your DLC and Games.

You know how is called what SONY is doing;
Marketing!

Marketing is the process by which companies create customer interest in products or services. It generates the strategy that underlies sales techniques, business communication, and business development.[1] It is an integrated process through which companies build strong customer relationships and create value for themselves.

Not quite that easy. They can’t eliminate content the next month because they offered more than needed in a previous month or as others said they could start skipping months. BTW I never said anything about two, Sony’s own wording said “monthly dynamic themes” which means at least two but they could do more. In July they gave us three, one more than the minimum and that’s awesome but that doesn’t mean they can skip August.

The Tik/Creat DLC was actually a gift from them and since it was all offered within the same month, same deal as the themes. Those other themes were static thus don’t count.

FYI I love dynamic themes and avatars so yes I look forward to that way more than random DLC for games I probably don’t have personally lol

Can I get my money back for my PSP Go? For some reason I actually thought that Sony would be putting up the legacy and classic games for us to download. Now where would I get that idea? Oh, I know, Sony social media manager Jeff Rubenstein said the following, “For the back catalog, expect the majority of exisiting UMD titles to be available for download via PSN around the launch of PSPgo as well.”

http://boardsus.playstation.com/t5/PSP-General/How-will-we-transfer-old-UMD-games-to-PSP-Go/td-p/42541738

Silly PS+ subscriber. Sony is perfectly fine screwing us over. Silly little things like clearly stating that we’d get dynamic themes, avatars, and add-on content for free each month in the PS+ FAQ aren’t meant to be taken seriously.

You should be focusing on the few positives of PS+ rather than the overwhelming negatives. Like for example, we lucky subscibers don’t have to pay for year old games that sell so poorly that they are on sale every other month. Like Mushroom Wars.

Oh, wait. That’s a negative. D’oh!

Lots of replies again this week I see.

OK, seriously for a second, if Sony employees can constantly be on here posting stuff on the blog (not replies mind you, just posts) seriously come Monday night or Tuesday morning somebody needs to be on here and list the store update time. If not, Sony needs to fire somebody ASAP. How many people here (with jobs) and a big major deadline once a week get to tell their boss “it’ll be done when it’s done”? Unless you are working on DNF the answer is no one.

Ro,

Great update. Currently downloading VC2, but were is Ace Combat Joint Assault? While I’m at it were is Ace Combat X Skies of Deception? Glad to see some games get a price reduction but there are many games for the psp which seriously need price reduction: Soul Caliber, Tekken 6, Assassins Creed, Persona 1, crimson gem saga, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, and Class of Heroes to name a few. Please lower the prices so people will actually buy them (myself included). Their umd counterparts can be purchased for 19.99 (in most cases). Also there are quite a few umd legacy titles missing from the psn store the warhammer titles, sonys own atv titles!!!, a real version of rockband (the lite version is a slap in the face), all the atari games, shadow of memories, tekken dark reserection, and many square soft games. I have both a go and a psp 2000 but prefer to buy digital copies of games vs their umd counterparts b/c I highly doubt the psp2 is going to use the umd format (correct me if I’m wrong) Thanks for reading.

Enough with the Super Street Fighter IV/ Street Fighter IV Avatars! A new batch releases almost every week!

What about avatars for MORE PlayStation exclusive franchises? How about Metal Gear Solid? God of War? Infamous? Resistance? If not, what about Grand Theft Auto? Final Fantasy? Call of Duty?

ENOUGH OF THE SAME. TRY SOMETHING NEW & DIFFERENT!

@alfian2: What poor frame rate are you talking about. Just got done playing the demo and didn’t have one issue with it. The game was fast and smooth just it should be.

Wow, why am I not surprised. A great PSN store update being cried over because PS+ subscribers aren’t getting their truck load of free content and games. You were the one’s dumb enough to pay for it.

*Happily goes back to playing Castle Crashers*

Quick question, why can’t I as a PSN Plus Member buy the “free” games at their regular or discounted price? Whenever I add Mushroom Wars to my cart it keeps listing it at $0.00. I don’t want the the strings attached version, I want to actually pay for it to own it without the service.

@DeadCell34
i think you really dont understand.
there’s nothin free for PSN+ we only “rent” stuff as lons as we are suscribed.
The only “real” thing we have “more” is additional sales.
my point is, i’m missing some sale on game because it’s “free” for PSN+, i cant buy the game at all.

btw Castle Crashers control no good, prefer Fat Princess control! :P

Digger HD is really good, guys! Grab it up!

It’s like Dig-Dug but better, and it has Co-Op.
