Man October can’t get here soon enough. A part of me was dying for the possibility of a SURPRISE GT5 demo (since some Best Buys and Targets around the US have had store demos set up since last week) but…

Well…

Oh well. I hate how gaming stagnates in the summer and then EVERYTHING COMES OUT AT ONCE in the fall.

Its late, I don’t have any way to purchase kingdom hearts, a new big title for your portable gaming system, and no older psp games were added. I would not call this fair treatment of your customers. Frankly, it just isn’t very professional.

Wow! Warhawk as a trial!? That is the kind of game many of us expected as the free title each month considering the initial offering of Wipeout, with trials being for newer (within 6 months) games. But we get Mushroom Wars and Critter Crunch free and old as dirt trials. “Plus is for hardcore gamers” my EYE! Plus is for ps3 newbies.

Still not seeing anything to justify upgrading to PlayStation Plus. I am a self-described Sony fanboy who already has Move paid for plus several games. Aside from Home, I love all of the Sony offerings. But you have to meet me halfway: give something more than just discounts, early demos, and themes to justify upgrading to PlayStation Plus.

I’m not usually someone to diss the store updates, but its sad when the best thing from the update is the God Of War Demo for psp. PS+ update is especially lame with the exception of the GoW:GoS demo.

Two months with no new free avatars for PS+. Avatars were promised each month.

Decent Plus update. Not good, but at least we are down to one type of missing content instead of three.

Also, Sony, invest in a clock. Seriously.

TerRover is too expensive. I’d be surprised if it sells much at that price point and would advise people to hold off for the inevitable price drop. Also, if Grace Chen is not going to respond to customers, somebody should, Jeff or Sid or Rey. The EU blog staff do a great job of responding to comments and queries in store updates, the US blog is abysmal in comparison and comes across as quite arrogant and rude. Please treat your customers better.

Unfortunately 4 people have already bought and given it the 5 star rating. These people are ruining it for the rest of us. $15 is the new $10 confirmed. I’m just about to give up Day 1 purchases of PSN games.

Unacceptable Sony. For starters the store at 10PM EST. Second, once again I still as PS Plus cannot be given the option to buy my items that are “Free” instead of getting them for free. It makes no sense Microsoft’s XBL service had all my DLC early in the morning, some even that very night before. Get your stuff together damn it.

@complainers you have to understand it wasn’t Sony’s decision to leave bbs of the psn, it was square enix’s choice. There are many other reasons why psp and pspgo owners should be pissed at Sony(lack of good psp games onthe psn, lack of multiple account usage, lack of PlayStation store update time and customer response, etc.)
it would be nice to give go owners crisis core or something to make up for it but chances are they won’t.
I’m not saying don’t be pissed, but don’t pass blame to the wrong person.

P.S. am I the only one pissed the TFU2 was canceled on the psp and spiderman shattered dimensions isn’t even on the psp but they’re both on the ds!!?

+ darthlego on September 7th, 2010 at 7:14 pm said:

I wish that the PS+ members would get better content. The free minis and PS one classics are about the only thing that PS+ has going for it, and all of those will be gone if the user unsubscribes. I think they should have a PS+ discount for every item in the store. I also think they should be able to get into the LBP 2 beta.

Extremely late update… content isn’t good enough to justify.

No PSOne Classics whatsoever (this is becoming way too common), no uploads of previous PSP titles to support the PSP Go…

…not even as much as some decent price drops on PSP games like Soulcalibur, Persona and the like that’s market value has dropped well below half what they’re being sold for on the PSN.

PSP users get shafted (hard)… for yet another week.

+ MrAdam5 on September 7th, 2010 at 7:15 pm said:

I am disappointed that Kingdom Hearts did not make it to the PSN. When I bought my Go I assumed it would be supported with all the new games, but I guess I was wrong.

So for now I wont be buying it until it gets digital release and I’m considering it Square’s loss. I’m also selling my Go (why own a system that isn’t supported?) and if it sells before God of War comes out it’ll be SONY’s loss as well.

“Oh, why don’t you just buy a X000 PSP?” Because its the principle of the matter. I should not have to buy another version of the console I already own just to play one game. I can only hope SONY will some how fix this mess.

+ ManaKnight on September 7th, 2010 at 7:15 pm said:

Anyone who gives the update less than a 5 is crazy. Lots of good stuff for us Plus owners such as GoW: Ghost of Sparda demo (free games and theme too). Sengoku Bassara demo is a HUGE win. Quantum Theory demo is very shocking and has me beyond happy.

Actually, Disney is the problem here. They’re anti-digital download. SE would’ve if they could’ve. And just to prove their point – Disney apparently ordered Sony to remove their classic PS1 games from the US store.

In general virtually everything you guys released is crap this week. Nothing really decent. Now, I subscribe to PS+ and what the hell are you giving us? Blast Off? Played the first couple levels already, quit and deleted it. You can say, “Yeah, we give over $200 worth of free content each year” but when it’s in general a bunch of garbage, keep it. Release something halfway good for a change. The gametrials you guys release are outdated and crap, and seriously, Warhawk for $30? I can go to any local game store and pick it up for like $15 bucks or less.
Wanna bring people in to PS+, maybe add some incentive? Give Castle Crashers out for a week, or maybe another highly hyped game you are set to release, not this Critter Crunch and Mushroom war crap. Been with PS+ since day one, and this is the first time I’ve been disgusted.

PS Plus is pretty lame. If it’s for ‘hardcore’ gamers then why give free stuff that they would have purchased already. Everyone and their grandmother has Warhawk. How about something that wasn’t released in the PS3′s first year? What a waste of money.

“the reason why Kingdom Hearts BBS is’t realese in psn store is because square enix wont realses it”
Actually, Disney is the problem here. They’re anti-digital download. SE would’ve if they could’ve. And just to prove their point – Disney apparently ordered Sony to remove their classic PS1 games from the US store.”
