A big week for PlayStation: a 15 year anniversary on September 9th, plus the launch of our new PlayStation Move Ultimate FAQ and a first look at the 11 games included on the PlayStation Move demo disc. What was your favorite story?

In other news, with Tokyo Game Show fast approaching, I’m stuffing my bag full of games for the 10+ hour flight to Japan. MGS: Peace Walker, God of War: Ghost of Sparta demo, and Tekken 6 are in: any last-minute suggestions?

My favourite story was how Sony silently admitted that Betas are not a part of PS+ anymore. Only selected Plus Users will be able to participate in Betas.

yes we had a lot of update material during the week, but moreover we want actual games guys, not just themes avatars, and the such.
we want legitimate games to be able to play, and even buy when they do eventually come out.

Tekken 6! You’ve got a nice taste there Sid ;)

Birth by Sleep or, since you seem to like 3D FGs, Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny.

If you have access to Phantasy Star Portable 2 though, take it (and make us all jealous!)

Lifetime PS owner, first time poster. I’ve always enjoyed the content here so thank you.

This is off topic of your post, but I recently heard the PixelJunk team is working on a visualizer for the PS3. The Gaia visualizer is one of my favorite things on the PS and the prospect of a lifelike visualizer sounds amazing. Last I (or anyone?) heard it was ‘coming soon’. I was just hoping you guys could shed some light on this. Pretty pretty please?

You should really play Singularity. I got it recently and it really surprised me. I found the last level left a bit to be desired, but the single player was still well done. Also, aside from some issues with matchmaking the multiplayer is a ton of fun; nothing better than running around vomiting on people to kill ’em :).

+ Jeigh on September 12th, 2010 at 10:08 am said:

Jeanne d’Arc is a good one, I agree. If you haven’t ever, I’d recommend Puzzle Quest. You can play that thing forever (not literally- you have to die at some point). Same story with Disgaea 2, though that’s a very niche market- a little too awesome for some people, understandably.

Puzzle Quest might be my all-time favorite PSP game (very excited for PQ2!). I’ve heard terrific things about Jeanne d’Arc

Oh and I love the new KB commercials- or at least the original versions. The way they’re cut together seems off on TV (though I understand why, given the time restraints). Particularly the joke at the end. All the same, I think it does a good job of getting the right information in the consumers’ hands.
