This doesn’t look bad it looks like a good game the only thing I think should be changed would be to make him look tougher he looks a bit too wimpy. The only question I have is will it stay at least a bit true to the original story or will it be completely remade from top to bottom?

A mix of feelings to see Dante just like a drug addict from Requiem for a Dream.

This is just a cinematic, but the shooting sequence was slow with the impression of zombies waiting to be head-shotted. I’ll wait to more gameplay.

Please don’t waste our precious DMC.

#1. are you gonna come out with a dmc 5 or continue with the original story?

#2. it would be pretty cool if you moved the entire original dmc series or at least dmc3 special edition to the ps3 but, with better graphics and game-play.you know, tweak it up a little to make it LOOK better, sorta like the way they moved god of war 1 and 2 to the ps3. that would be cool for dmc fans.

This new character comes off as… somehow a pretender. He gives me the impression of someone that can fight like Dante, but is somehow pretending to be him. Sort of a psycho in a way.

Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if all these fight scenes are this character in his psycho delusion. Only to wake up and realize he committed mass murder in his delusion and was captured by the cops. Then landed himself in a asylum for “psycho evaluation treatment.”

Just a thought.

What the hell have you done to Dante?!?

Why in the name of anything does DMC need a reboot? It sold millions everytime one was released, and many stories can be created using Dante or even Nero who was pretty cool.

You’ve made Dante look so generic now. He was known for that red coat and white hair, and his sword. It’s like removing Solid Snake’s bandana and barnet, or removing Mario’s ‘tasche.

Thanks a bunch Capcom…

although after watching the video again to make sure I didn’t miss anything the new art style (the enviroment and enemies sorta looked like they popped straight out of borderlands) could maybe be cool if pulled off right and again regarding character design…I don’t know about you guys buuuut….he looks way too dammed much like travis touchdown only trying to go all bad ass and high-def on a next gen console for it to blow up on his face XD

UGH! way to fail guys…first of all DMC was mostly popular with america so..the more american bad-ass design of the first dante was why we loved it so much buuut WHAT’S WITH THE RETARDED J-POP LOOK???? he also just doesn’t seem to have that flair that dante has that makes you want to scream pure bad ass! the only thing that even made this video look remotely good was the transforming sword that and you sorta made him look like a badass with the whole cigarette butt in the forehead thing

My only problem is Dante. The music style is good the graphics too. But why this skeleton EMO? Dante is nothing like this.
