i found another hidden feature and this one and no knows about this earlier today when i was about to install a demo game it was an error however error suggestion part can now be accesible for users. SCE can now show some issues caused by app meaning games, dlc and other by corrupted or unknown error.

I would rather like to keep my other os so I guess I will be keeping firmware 3.15. Speaking of which anyone know a work around for getting the diskless netflix UI without upgrading the firmware?

I’m having major issues after this update. I can’t play GTA IV, Mirrors Edge, they both freeze at the loading screen and I have to restart the playstation. CoD MW2 freezes online so i’m not able to play, it freezes as well. Singleplayer, splitscreen works though. It seems that many users have these problems so what can we do to fix this?

Im not sure if this is the place I need to post this but ever since v3.5 came out my Ps3 Slim has been freezing!!! After every online match on COD MW2 my ps3 freezes!!! I have to turn it off and turn it on again, Then I can start a game then right at the end where is loads your k/d it freezes!

I’ve tried to go wireless with the internet connecting and hardwired, still nothing

I’ve formatted the drive and reinstalled v3.5 and still didnt work. anyone else have this problem

Updated the Ps3 to v3.5 now I cant play anygames….seems like Im not the only one with this problem. A fix would be nice; like ASAP, whats the point of a PS3 that only plays movies????

A couple of things…

1. These recent firmware updates have not really had a lot of features that are useful to me. I like some of the little changes like how the background changes when you highlight the PS Store icon. But there used to be a time when firmware updates had tons of useful features in them. (i.e. Remote Play, auto-start, automatic downloads) What happened to that? I appreciate all the effort you guys are putting into these firmware updates, but it seems like we’re waiting 2-3 months for an update that adds something that I’ll never use like video editing.

2. I know you guys are tired of hearing about Cross-Game Chat. I know you’re working on it. I’ve come to terms with the fact that it won’t be out for a while (if ever), but could you at least tell us why you haven’t implemented it yet?

Is XGC just a really hard feature to implement? We’d understand.

Are the rumors about EA blocking the feature true? (blink twice if the answer’s yes)

Is it because SCEJ does all the firmware updates instead of SCEE and SCEA and they don’t want to put XGC in the firmware?

Can you please just give us a reason???

so are you gonna give us something we want in the next update or are you just gonna keep throwing stuff the nobody cares about at us.

you could kill any legitimate reason for people to JB their consoles just by giving them what they want. what they want means MKV support, the return of OtherOS, PS2 support, mid-level homebrew support. what does sony stand to lose by giving us compatibility with the newest video containers, an old feature returned, what should have been there in the first place and common sense, let me answer that for you, NOTHING

To everyone who keeps downvoting cross-game chat or complaining that it’s a useless feature, go play Borderlands or any number of other online games where the chat features are borked or just flat-out don’t work and tell me it’s unnecessary.

There needs to be a unified system for PSN players to use that isn’t game/company dependent. Cross-game chat (specifically Skype as a background app) solves that problem and adds a much-needed functionality to an otherwise good system. For those of us who would complain, just don’t use it, but don’t downvote something that would solve a rather major issue.
