Their Artist Spotlight hit PSN a bit ago, but we wanted to feature it on the PlayStation.Blog to commemorate the release of the official Nathan Drake Mod and Kart AND the release of the Artist Spotlight content you saw in previous videos. Artist Spotlight: Naughty Dog
The team at Naughty Dog are no strangers to blockbuster franchises. They’ve been responsible for some of the biggest titles on every PlayStation console including the Crash Bandicoot series, Jak and Daxter, and most recently Uncharted. They are no strangers to racing either, Crash Team Racing defined Kart racing on the PlayStation and Jak X Combat Racing (PS2) was an adrenaline ride for all Jak fans. We were excited to see what Naughty Dog’s top designers thought once they got their hands on ModNation Races and see them work their magic and get “Un-Karted”.

Any plan to make the game load even faster ?
Is there going to be a Modnation Racers Dynamic theme?
The one pack that Naughty Dog would be loved by nearly everyone is a Crash Team Racing DLC for Modnation Racers. Yes theres some replicas of some of the courses made already but we all have a want for offical ports of the courses, weapons and offical Crash Character Mods.
But its up to Sony as if that happens
I want to pick this game up guys, I really do. But playing it a month or so ago, I was particularly turned off by the load times, and my buddy was kind enough to hang on to the game via Gamefly long enough for me to see the patch that was supposed to alleviate that, but to my surprise, nothing big was changed. I would like to see more streamlining done to the engine to actually dramatically bring those down. That’s really my biggest gripe. That and the game needs a better tutorial. Took me forever to figure out how the shield worked.
Well, I hope you good luck with continued success of MNR, but please bring those load times down.
Question about Region Lock being removed: If you join a random XP Race or XP Series will you be paired up with people from across the world?

Will E.U be getting drake next week?
The Load time is not issue right now… im ok with the load time because there are lot of stickers that are loading…
and the loading time is already reduce… i think 8-10 secs before loading ends now.. sometimes even faster… and i am happy with that
i thought drake will be available on pre-ordering it so my drake will not be rare now… sigh… failed…

Cool. Would have liked to hear about Track Packs as DLC, but this is good too. I’d almost forgotten we were still waiting for ND’s spotlight. Too bad there aren’t official Jak, Daxter, Crash (and gang) karts!
