I can’t wait to get my hands on Iron Man 2.
Notice I said “hands”… I buy physical copies of movies with extras.
Common Sony.

Hi Grace. There’s an error with purchasing the new Lara Croft on the PSN Store.

if you buy the full game and download it then install it nothing at all shows up on your PS3 HD. so after being really frustrated with this I found out you have to download the demo to play the full game even tho you bought the full game. lol.
it states NO WHERE AT ALL saying in order to play the full game after purchase you have to install the demo first.
you might want to make note of that or fix it immediately.

its disappointing to purchase my first game on the PSN Store and have to go through every setting on my PS3 and try to “solve” the puzzle why it didn’t install on my HD. I thought all the puzzle solving was just in the Lara Croft game.

Too expensive for digital copies. Still havent bought a single thing from the video store.

This content can be found on the internet, on-demand, and through Netflix at a cheaper price.

You can even find physical copies that have extra content and can be played anywhere that cost less then what the video store offers.

Hey? Hulu Plus finally came around. They presented us with the best gift: subtitle for some shows. (Although, they are working very hard by brining more shows with subtitle option). But my question for you is: Where is subtitle option for these videos you sell on PSN Store? NADA… Please tell me where you will stand with this? 1,2,3,5 or 10 years from now? Or will it be NEVER? If that is the case, then shame on all of you!

As many others, I like the buy physical bluerays with all the extras and soI have the copy in my hand, way too expensive sony if you expect people to buy off your video store..the only way I’d buy an HD coy of iron man.. without a disc and without the extras would be, say for like no more than $4.99 and im not kidding sony, think about it, you’re selling a file which can be duplicated infinity amount of times, your not selling nothing physical, so in my head you’re truly only renting the movie to us in either case, because we dont actually get to keep the movies, sony you need to address this issue, and fast if you ever expect me to drop some cash on the video store

+ RicPo420 on October 1st, 2010 at 7:36 am said:

sorry for the double post, but here’s a great idea, if you want to charge 17.99, you can do so, but then send the actul blueray to our address when the order is made, that way people get to watch thier movie, you make the full price, and at a later date we can expect the blueray to show up in the mail, if that’s how it was, I would consider purchasing some movies from the playstation store

Hey Grace, two weeks ago you posted that FRINGE season 1 was available to the Canadian PSN store, and last week FRINGE season 2 was also available. However, when I go into the Canadian video store, FRINGE is nowhere to be seen even after using the search feature and searching through the entire TV show catalogue. Has it been removed for some reason, typo, or something else that I’m not doing correctly?

Thanks for your help. :)

Don’t watch “Let me In”, check the original film. The new one is LAME…just like any other US remakes of foreign movies. But… Iron Man 2 is a blast, don’t miss it!

Are there plans to include 5.1 surround sound on downloaded movies? I rented Shutter Island but found it to be only stereo. So now I am back to renting Bluray’s from the local store. Also the cost is too high for both renting and owning. Who pays $20 for a digital copy? It just makes you want to pirate it even more when the prices are crazy. I know its the studio’s fault for taking their time with understanding this new approach to digital distribution, and what the costs should be.

What happens in a couple of years and the Playstation 4 comes out with no backwards compatibility? We buy the movies again, like the games?

Are you seriously going to make me wait for Smallville? It aired a week ago and even another new episode should’ve aired tonite. It was even announced in last weeks video content update. Oh IT was. Look if its not going to be available then don’t say otherwise. Thanks for what updates that were provided but I don’t know a single person who owns a PS3 and watches supernatural, gossip girls, or … Jersey shore? But if they are out there, I’m sure they’re happy. Meanwhile, all of us smallville fans ( and Dexter fans ) are being left in the dust. I know I sound dramatic, but when it comes down to smallville, it comes down to ten seasons of waiting for this kid to just fly and get’er done. Its Superman! Or based off him? As a fan I’m obliged to say “Don’t mess with the S” …and where’s Smallville? ……..and Dexter? LoL.

It might be time to update terms so that HD purchases include the option to DL the SD version to PSP as part of the transaction. The competition currently allows this when purchasing HD content, by providing a SD copy for their portable device as part of the original purchase. Allowing the option to purchase tv seasons- again as the competition already provides- would also level the playing field. Right now, the video store is rather pricey in comparison to what your competitors are doing.

so they put up smallville e2 but what happen to e1 and i still don’t see dexter. smallville is always one of the top downloads, so why play with the viewers who buy them. i think its funny how playstations doesn’t care about our shows, there like we need more shows like bad girls club etc, but who cares about fake tv shows that think there real, at least i know mine fake. theirs little few tv shows i watch. everyone get theres, i want mine.
smallville, smallville, smallville, smallville, and dexter.

Yeah I’d rather gargle on glass than watch the bad girls club. At least there’s some progress with the second episode being available. Now if they could just count. Maybe the premier will be ready tomorrow. Then again, I’m not gonna hold my breath.

I’ll add my two cents that Smallville Season 10 Episode 1 should have been uploaded a long time ago. As should Dexter Season 5 Episode 1.
What happened PSN? We’re all waiting. I’d kind of like to see the first episode of Smallville’s 10th season before I move on to the second. I imagine a lot of other people would as well.
I’m not calling you incompetent, but an explanation to us, your customers, would be nice.
