Next month marks one of the biggest handheld releases of the year. We learn, for the first time, of the events that took place between two heavy hitting games in the PlayStation family. God of War: Ghost of Sparta shows what events took place between Kratos’s adventures in God of War and God of War II. Do you need a little refresher in the series? Well, we’ve got you covered.

Not true, GoS takes place between GoW and GoW II.

Looks to be a great month! But Ghost of Sparta is what happens between God of War 1 and 2. There’s nothing between 2 and 3 and 3 picks up exactly where 2 left off.

What if we are already a PlayStation Plus Member and already own the God of War Collection on Bluray?
Um, what? Between II and III? Really now? GoW II ended and GoW III picked up exactly at the end of 2. >.> I mean, there is literally like no pause. Now between GoW I and II is a lot more believable and doesn’t screw with the continuum.

its good to see a newer game (RDR) getting discounts for dlc… still, i was hoping for the free fallout 3 dlc that uk plus subscribers got (all $50 worth of dlc), but at least it’s a step in the right direction.

20% off sounds like a great deal on that RDR DLC, but there’s also a disc-based compilation coming out in December for $30 that I could lend to friends or resell etc. Decisions, decisions.

Probably the worst Plus update yet for me. I think I’d prefer it if the free PS3 game and free PS1 game were on alternating updates instead of all at once. Anyway…

So this update my 154 cents gets me an estimated value of $6 or a 390% return. Still worthwhile monetarily but there have been much better updates.
European PS+ members got ALL of the Fallout 3 DLC for free.

On a different note here’s hoping that Zenonia is eventually a free mini, as it’s one of the few minis I am actually interested in ^^;
I wish people would stop complaining about Ps+ stop being whiney babies about it. I have spent 50 dollars on far worse stuff that didnt give as much back…Except this asian website lol
I might buy a 3 Month membership to PS+ to take advantage of the RDR discount. I just wish they offered those Premium titles cheaper to PS+ Members, a free 1 hr. trial is pretty lame.

It’s just like the ‘free’ games, Every month the games that are added are old and I’ve owned them for (in some cases) years.
This service really has little to nothing to offer anyone who plays the games they want when they are released.
We should be able to choose what we want the auto download to download. Game Trial and Exclusive demo are disappointing

Granted I only did a 3 month trial of PS+ and the discounts have more than paid for the membership and I will be doing a year membership at some point but holy mother, what a crappy deal. I’m hoping tomb raider 2 is normally 5.99 because I own the disc but it’s my favorite one and I’d be tempted to buy it at $3.
But the god of war crap is just that, crap. Altho I haven’t touched my copy of GoW3 yet so that skin might be worth nabbing. And honestly, the minis we’ve been given tend to blow. Bloons is just terrible.
Not much to download for me but I’m still pleased with Plus. When you do add up all the content we’ve gotten for free it far surpasses the $50 of entry…and we’re only a couple of months in.

Ummm… I don’t want “The Tester” season 2 downloaded automatically to my PS3… Not only do I dislike it, I object to it’s existence. Is there a way to prevent this from happening without compromising auto-patch downloads ><
Seriously of all the things you guys setup to auto-download why this? Why aren't you guys giving us a the means to auto download stuff that we want from future store updates? I dunno maybe I would PJ Shooter 2 Downloaded/paid/installed to my PS3 without looking at the store? Ever think about that? Otherwise this auto-download feature is useless if you keep sucking up my bandwidth with useless junk like The Tester.

As it stands, Automatic downloads is more of a marketting tool vs a feature us, the users, can benefit from.
