SUPPORT THE SINGSTORE

Seriously.

I’m getting Sly Cooper Collection, I want to get SingStar Dance too, but the support for SingStar alone is terrible. So I’m having a hard time. If it’s not supported better then there’s no point.

Europe has far more of the NA hits than the NA does, from NA artists. :/ I know the devs are there, but that’s b/s.

So, I was interested in picking up Sly and the Fight, but all the local stores I have contacted, and even Amazon are saying they wont be getting them in till around the 14th, next week. what is the deal with that? did they get pushed back or something? or is this one of those budget, not very well thought out type of release shipment things going on here? kinda lame to get our hopes up, if you aren’t delivering on the dates you are claiming.

+ Rockstarmd on November 9th, 2010 at 12:19 pm said:

They shouldn’t even bother with Singstar in the US since they can’t support the game as it is not worth it now. They can’t even get us wireless mics like Europe.

I guess from now on I’ll preorder every game I want. Usually I do now but I didn’t preorder the Sly Collection. My Best Buy said they got a few copies in but sold them all. I can’t find it anywhere. Please tell us this is because you’re so busy making copies of GT5 and I’ll say you’re forgiven. I figured the Sly Collection would at least be in all the stores and I wouldn’t need to preorder.

Will there be a version of Singstar Dance minus the mics? I already imported the wireless mics and still have the original mics.
Also, I would like to see Move with a bundle option Minus the Playstaion Eye.

Yup, you can purchase SingStar Dance as a standalone title if you already have your microphones. Both the Party Pack bundle and the standalone game launched today.

No offense guys, but don’t be jerks. Don’t post on the blog numerous times that Sly comes out today and then be lazy about shipping it so everybody gets it a day late. It’s bad customer service.

Hi All! It sounds like some of you are out hunting for The Sly Collection. It has been shipped to retailers across the country, but depending on the retailer it might just take a few extra days for it to make its way onto the shelves of your store. Expect it to start rolling in soon!

71

+ nerdmanwhippy on November 9th, 2010 at 12:58 pm said:

@71

Why wasn’t the game just street dated so it could of been shipped before hand so we weren’t stuck on Tuesday with nothing to do but wait for it? Honestly as a gamer nothing kills hype more then waiting extra due to delays and or lack of street dated merchandise so it’s shipped late.

Really happy to discover that Sly has Move support, I will buy it as soon I get some money XD Also I have to say I checked the list of Singstar Dance and it’s pretty good: a bit of everything. I have a question regarding this title, I saw a video where 2 guys were holding a guitar in this game?! I’m really interesed about it since Singstar always uses the original clips!

Not another penny goes to the Singstar franchise until wireless mics are available in the U.S.
If that means never, then so be it.

76

+ hanzox7 on November 9th, 2010 at 1:34 pm said:

are the folks at Sony or anyone worried that the first hardcore game for the PS Move got such bad reviews? IGN gave it a 3.0, but i think that dude who made the review can’t throw a jab, cross or a uppercut like a man (besides, IGN are a whole bunch of M-$oft fanboys). so i really don’t trust IGN’s judgement for this one. Gamespot and other sites varied and thesixaxis.com said it was great.

i wish there was a demo!

Just after reading this post this morning I jumped into the shower, had 2 eggs sunny side up with toast and bacon, took the car on a 30 min drive to the kiss and ride and parked it for the day, called the office took the morning off paid $15.00 for parking and another $3.00 to get on the subway, spent 25 mins on the subway to get back to the store where I made my pre-order at right after the Holiday Preview Event in downtown Toronto a while ago.
I waited in line and when I got to the front- cash in hand ready to pay and play after already calling the friends to grab drinks and come on over I was told I can’t have my copy of the fight as it is not “For Sale”

The dealer at EB games said this- and I quote””
“Dude like the Fight is NOT for sale untill November 10, 2010 whoever told you it’s like out today is like on drugs dude.

I told him I would tell you he said that.

I also told him to give me my pre-order money back before I left for my long, angry, empty handed ride home.

This is absolutely stunning.

Sony is not only biting the hands that feed them but ripping arms out of sockets. Open harassement of the very people who keep you SONY in existance. Censorship, threats, harassment, ID theft, stalking, sexual harrassment, all are daily occurances on psn. SONY this is NOT what you are being paid for!!

What you are being paid for in this instance is game consoles, accessories and games. What we are getting is either delayed (LBP2), Non existant (GT5), or substandard (too numerous to mention). Sony give your collective head a shake, you are a company who’s business is supplying electronics & software to your customers. You cannot do a good job of this while acting like a tin plated despot of a banana republic.

For future reference, please do not say that a game will be available on -x day- when you simply ship the game on -x day-.

Only say that a game comes out on -x day- if it has already been shipped to retailers and as such will for certain be available on that day.

Otherwise you get this. People annoyed and frustrated that they wasted their time trying to find a retailer who actually has the stupid games they want. Only to go home empty handed. ]
