Its a killer game, but 14.99 a month is to much! 4.99 a month or FREE would be better! thought there would be more trophies and hope they raise the lvl cap, cause most players will reach that long before the end of the first month free play! So whens the Marvel Universe Online game coming out?

I don’t mind paying the subscription fees … pretty cheap I say. I have a Job , Bills , and Rent and can still afford this. The people who complain about the subscription fees are the same people who always want something for nothing but will drop meaningless dollars on dlc for games that will cease to be of interest after sequels come out and the multiplayer on such games shut down. The only thing I want to see is the lifetime subscription fee finally come to the ps3.

Why would people want micro-transactions? They are terrible and make for terrible MMO experiences, especially when it comes to PvP… even PvE is terrible.

Micro-transactions tend to change a game’s entire design in a negative way.

I guess people want a crappy MMO that they can play for free, instead of a good MMO that costs them money.

Loved the beta but there’s no way I’m paying $15 to play this. $5 is a definite, $10 I have to think about a bit, but $15 is a definite no.

As soon as you guys change from a Subscription model to a Free to Play using Micro-transactions model this is a day 1 buy for me. Until then…I wait.

there is no way an online game on PC distributed by a major company would be 5$ a month or free, there’s economic laws that make it impossible to really choose some tariffs because of competition, meaning the company having a 5$ fee would be greatly favoured ; if the game wasn’t released on PC too, making it only console that would be different
the content is already superior imho to other MMORPGs, new kind of missions (and voiced), most being story arcs ending with a boss fight, customization is almost as good as City of heroes (only body parts scaling missing), powers really change with each combo of element/weapon and has the dominant color of the costume, making it yours
