The Treehouse, a fantastical estate perched high above a spectacular landscape, offers gorgeous vistas surrounding a truly zen-like setting. The PlayStation Home Community Theater receives a massive update this week. To start, HomeCast Rewind airs a new video where the staff takes a look at the new Mansion personal space, the recently-released Xi Museum, and the Lockwood Gift Machine, while also giving a run-down of December’s Top 5 items.
Hip Hop Gamer returns with a new episode of the HHG show focusing on the upcoming LittleBigPlanet 2, including Alex Evans and John Beech from Media Molecule, while the most recent episode of Replay with Doc features Mo Chocolate from The Tester 2.

Home has considerably improved since launch. I’m so happy about this. I can’t wait until the builders make more progress on my mansion.
I was very surprised to see that the new space doesn`t have anything to do with war or the so-called “glamorous life” americans like so much. But then I read further down and saw that it was something released on the EU servers a year ago, and not only that but our server will be getting even more military outfits. Figures.
Any way I can move to the EU server, with my account and everything I purchased? They get all the animal stuff and pretty places, they don`t obsess about guns and bikinis.

how far are you scammers willing to test us with useless digital content, i bought the mansion and all i can do in there is give gifts to friends and walk up and down the stairs and watch a drunk tiger wobble around the fountain, can’t sit at the dining room table, can’t interact with appliances, are you guys just lazy or just looking to make a quick buck off of useless content?

Muito mais eficaz, todos Sackboys customizados, bem mais simples e eficiente do que modelos reais de personagem, resumindo, a Sony precisa de avatares, assim como seus concorrentes, pra ter uma interação nos jogos.
Esses personagens da Home são uma das coisas mais sem graça que a marca PS já criou, tenho certeza que na próxima geração de consoles da Sony, essa Home vai sumir do mapa e ninguém vai lembrar e se lembrar vai ser pra zuar, mais nada.
O problema é que a besteira já está feita e agora ia ser vergonhoso criar outro tipo de Avatar, mas enfim, o que falta ai pro pessoal da Sony é criatividade e saber que o mais simples pode ser melhor do que uma coisa complexa e sem carisma.

It would be nice if Sony would use the avatar as Sackboy, as well as Nintendo and Microsoft.
Much more effective, all custom Sackboys, simpler and more efficient than models of real character, in short, Sony needs of avatars, as well as its competitors, to have interaction in games.
These characters of Home is one of the most boring things that Sony has created, I’m sure the next generation of consoles, this Home will disappear from the map and nobody will remember and will be remembered for a joke, nothing more.
The problem is that the mistake is already done and now would be a shame to create another type of avatar, but hey, what’s missing there is Sony’s pro staff creativity and know that the simpler may be better than a complex thing and no charisma.
Any chance of Move support and 3D coming in the near future? I’m gettin a 3D Bravia very soon and would like to enjoy both in that manner. Nice update but is the Tree House Free? It was in the UK or Japan or Hong Kong Home(s)or one of em. Still decent update, better than the store at least. .snicker….
oh and the gift machine ripped me off, I lost 280 credits because my ps3 froze during the gifting process, can someone at Lockwood look into this for me. It was on This Account.

When will the TARDIS space be made?
My buddy and NGP brother has all the personal spaces, we look at them often, and i can tell you they are nothing more than a waste. Unless you figure out how to glitch them they are just empty spaces because you cant use enough furniture to make them look nice, 50 pieces for the Waterfall Terace was hard enough, and i could make it look nicer if i could add more decore. Idiots

Why are people getting excited for a 2 year old space? Was the Tree House really being requested anymore? I think it was even offered for free in Europe over a year ago. Home needs to be region unlocked It seems to be all on the same servers anyway or at very least cross server integrated. So why put up barriers on what gets sold where? We need at very least some Netflix support in Home. I’m getting tired of Home in general for every one week there is a stride in the right direction there are months that have resale on old other region stuff. No games get Spaces or Outfits in timely manner I cant even make a picture of my Avatar in Home my PSN Avatar. 2 active items per apartment is a joke.
I started buying the Mansion so I might finish that but after that I will no longer support these incremental upgrades. Ive spent well over $1000 dollars in Home based on promises of what it could be…. Its becoming obvious it will never be what I was told it was going to be. You just keep putting out just enough to keep the hope it will alive.
2 year old space great… thats exactly what Home needed. Not more items per space or being able to play content from HDD or even Netflix. I mean who wants to watch real TV in Home with friends when you can spend hours watching Trailers and Commercials. You got in on lock with these Home updates though release crap most weeks that way when something barely worthwhile come its seems Heaven sent and tricks us into thinking Home is going in the right direction. Its been years and somehow made us believe running commercials in our personal spaces is a step in the right direction.

If Im not mistaken.. most of the personal space scenes are already localised.. so it does seem to be a cut and paste…or they are mostly all localised so we can visit friends spaces in other regions. It just seems now you put a price tag on the item in our store. Keep up the good work and PLZ fix the lagfest that is midway 2.. Thanks :P
well i have to say, i´m bored about getting uglies T-Shirt rewards, also i´m tired about the harbor studio,there´s nothing new in Home, and i have to say some guys here are right, there are so many cool and free stuff in EU Home but not in US Home.
WE ALL know that not all stuff in Home can be free, but be are PS3 users, all the store in home and playstation network are a great market and please anybody is gonna be poor if you make some cool and i mean really cool rewards for us sometimes.

I’m so glad I got the limited time free chamber room (the 1 with the big faced tree) when it came out so I don’t have to go in that boring harbor room and I don’t have to spend any real money on virtual rooms. My room is currently fairly full of stuff – prizes, rewards and other free knick knacks – but I didn’t know about any 50 item limit. Going to go fill my room with treasure chests to see if I can get there.
Im on home a lot and every thursday i keep hopeing for a great update. And then to see that is just the same old stuff….more personal spaces we dont need and just the same o same o. Please, please will someone do somthing about the female clothing! We dont want more MILITARY CLOTHES!! Me personaly i would love to see nice dresses and blouse’s! Not the stuff that makes you look like a street walker! I’ve spend a lot of money on home…i.e. personal spaces, clothes,games, furniture and all i ask is for some decent clothing items. :)
And one more thing…..is the VIP comming back to SingStar?! I love that place! It was stupid to let it go! Or at least put some new VIP spaces on home!!

How about original content not cut & paste cookie cutter code from euro home?
How about banning the rampant perverts & stalkers instead of banning those who report them?
How about fixing the report feature which has been broken a full year now?
How about fixing the absurd number of bugs on home?
How about updating central to get rid of the christmas theme now 3 full weeks overdue?
Have either of you noticed the large number of negative comments and consistant low ratings the home “updates” get here in the blog? If thats not a lesson to you then its past time both of you went.
