Purchased ME2 at Best Buy today for the PHYSICAL COPY. Sony, STEAM does digital only and has killer sales, there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to make digital copies cheaper. I support digital if its done right… ala STEAM.

Anyway continuing:

Modern Combat demo = Score.
Modern Combat @ 5.99 for PS+ users = BIG SCORE. Keep it up like this with new titles getting immediate discounts for + users.

Where’s Megamixer (I think thats his name) and his layout post about whats here and isn’t? I like that guy. I’ll try to fill in till he’s here:

Game Trial: 1
Full game downloads: 1
PSN Titles: 2
Demo’s: 2
PS1 Classics: 2 (counting the import)
PSP: 7
PSP Demo: 1

Looks nice to me and I know this isn’t Mega’s format but I like the update and think its pretty decent. At any rate the biggest note here imo is the discount for Modern Combat to PS+ users on its release, thats what we want to see! :)

And if i liked CoD/FPS in general i should enjoy this right?

you download the entire game as a PS+ (not PSN+) member and get to play the first hour of the game. Your save and trophies carry over into the full game if you decide to purchase it. You don’t officially earn the trophy until the purchase is made.

Once again Sony proving that they don’t get it.

If you get a game through download, it should be at least 10 dollar cheaper, passing along the saving of not needing to box it and ship it to the customer.

Now when the game is older like this I expected it would be 49.99 for the box, and 39.99 for the download version considering you can get the game for 39.99 on the PC right now…

Do you understand what it means to be competitive?

I’m glad I’m not alone! I just read up there that someone else is having problems adding funds to their account. I’m trying to purchase some things off the PSN, but no dice.

I’ll continue playing LBP2 and ME2 and try later I guess.
Damn today is awesome though. :) (For two previously mentioned reasons).

Whoa wait tick. I thought Mass Effect already came with the cerberus pack and the comic. We were never told we had to buy it.

Thank you SONY for bringing Mega Man 1 (Japanese Import) on PS3. Is other import MegaMan games (2-6) coming to psn as well next week?

I don’t ever post on anything, but I must post for this. Just got done playing Modern Combat demo which I was digging from what I seen, but from my playing the demo for full 45 mins game play is little slow, some kills just don’t seem right, loading times can be awhile and graphics are Ps2ish. Sorry for the bad response just how I feel after playing it. Good start for a psn game but if it was third person woulda been alot better.

Why does Toyota think anyone cares about this Prius stuff? And especially Little Big Planet?

Anyone remember all that ugly Scion crap in PlayStation Home?

I just grabbed the discounted Scott Pilgrim. I am so tempted to buy Mega Man 1, but I actually still own the Gamecube version of the Megaman Collection, so I don’t think so. But still…for $3?? that is such a steal. I love me some Megaman.

Thanks for the update!

Bought Spare Parts and Scott Pilgrim.

Spare Parts is much more awesome than I was expecting! And, I love that it is in 1080p! Looks amazing!

@ John-Shooter
I know that, but what I am worried about is if I wait until I’ve finished ME1 to avoid spoilers. Will the 1 hour demo be no longer accessible if I keep it for all that time without using it? What if my plus membership expires in the meantime?

Woot for DDR songs.
And @45 yeah is more expensive than buying the PS2 games, but remember that not everyone has a PS2 anymore. Also is cheaper than other song’s games whee each song costs around 1.5 USD, here you get 5 songs for less than 5 USD.

Okay, heres some info to clarify a bit on the Mass Effect 2 DLC.

The Cerebes network pack is included as part of the game. A part of EA’s project $10 incentive. Primarily to encourage players to buy new.
All the $2 add ons are simple boosts, like the pre-order bonuses for R&C:aCiT.

Anything else need an explanation?

Hey SCEA can you hire some web programmers to fix the trophy website? http://us.playstation.com/mytrophies/ has been broken for many months, a few of the titles that don’t show up: LBP2, Fallout New Vegas, Sports Champions, EA Sports Active 2. Opening a trouble ticket is about like getting politicians to actually fix something.

Finally some almost-decent DDR DLC! Glad to see it. There are a few gems, a few bombs, and the rest are songs that I won’t mind throwing into the mix. Not bad.
