Killzone 3 Multiplayer Video of MP03 Bilgarsk Boulevard

TJ Consunji's Avatar Posted by on Jan 21, 2011 // Product Marketing Manager

In case this morning’s Killzone 3 Multiplayer Open Beta announce wasn’t enough to tide you over, here’s some more Killzone MP goodness. Here is video of Killzone 3’s third multiplayer map, Bilgarsk Boulevard. When you play, remember to stick to the alleyways and building interiors because the long sightlines make crossing the boulevard a deadly proposition…

For more details on Killzone 3’s 8 multiplayer levels, including MP03 Bilgarsk Boulevard and the MP05 Frozen Dam map featured in the Multiplayer Open Beta, check out the full briefing on Killzone.com.

@45 totally right. I have been complaining about this since I played the beta

Please check out this link to a forum post I made since I can’t fit everything into the comments;

@52- there is no reload for M82, the 2nd reload he did was because he had a faster reload perk.

Hey anyone who play the beta notice that the spot mark changed? I wonder if that is a change or a low level form.

BOOM! For Certain the Campaign Mode would be Insane. Multi-player clearly has some Deficiencies, Evident Incompleteness.

MP’s Initial Insufficiency would most likely be addressed in Time I’m sure. Variety of Environments & Character Mobility could Really give this Title the Edge on other Phenomenal FPS Multi-player experiences like the COD4 MWs & Black Ops.

I wait in Eager Anticipation Nevertheless.

Everybody complaining about 8 maps, you know that there will really be 10 maps if you pre-order. You get the 2 in the retro pack.

Also, KZ2 only had 8 maps to start and I’m sure all of you liked that just fine. Given that KZ MP lasts longer than 5 minutes a match (if you play warzone) then 10 maps is plenty. You are all acting too drastically.

Also, given that it is realeasing with 2 old maps, I expect many more old maps to be released along with new maps (the MW2 approach).

Cool, looks like the area from Kz Liberation’s intro video. I just don’t know why GG has to be so stubborn when it comes to removing the stupid pop-ups.

8 Maps won’t stop me from playing this game. Gamers today seem to never be satisfied. Still gotta pre-order the Helghast Edition plus an Invite to the Socom 4 beta, Can’t get any better than that.

can’t wait to dig into this with the move, will there be rooms dedicated to move support and regular ds3 controls? or will it be a combination type set up.

+ Medaforb on January 22nd, 2011 at 1:43 pm said:

Huge Killzone fan since the first got released i’m not a 360 hater I love gaming in general but, i’ll put Killzone 2 in before Halo 3 9 times out of 10 and Killzone 3 is looking amazing I can’t wait to get my hands on this one. Amazing work and every one has improved in ways no one has thought possible it has depth without feeling like your doing the same thing 10 times over which isn’t easy to design. Hat’s off Killzone team.

Do you know if this beta (or the retail version) will support Custom Games and / or Server Lists? Thanks. I think this question has been either avoided or answered a long time ago.

Dont wont to seem dumb, but what was the blue circle popping up on the enemies?

+ xDarkImagesx on January 22nd, 2011 at 6:18 pm said:

so true dark fire, it’s cause of cod is why ppl are picky, if you want to spend 15 on rehash garbage that you got from the other game, so you can play on a crappier game, then go back to suck arse cod, the hardcore player don’t want your sucky cod skills and whining on kz3, you still will go on forums and say boo hoo, i can’y play the controller has lag, it all reality your not use to a game that makes you feel like you are carring a gun and armor and not a helium ballon, grow the f up already,

+ Hossome_ on January 22nd, 2011 at 6:32 pm said:

Awesome! Too bad my PS3 just broke.

+ Jumplion on January 22nd, 2011 at 10:02 pm said:

I’m diggin’ it. I love how Guerrilla Games gave attention to every detail, they even made a separate animation for the “faster reloading” ribbon instead of just speeding up the regular animation, and that earns my respect big time!

Between LBP2, Dead Space 2, and this, I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up!

+ ShaYx66 on January 22nd, 2011 at 10:09 pm said:

1. there will be a online coop for the singleplayer or its only Split Screen ?

2. only 24 players on the full game too? or like KZ2 – 32 ?

3. there will be more changes about the skills or thats it ?
the skill that show you where are the other players pretty OP and lame for MP .. :\ its will be suck to play with this skill ..

@26, what are you talking about, the PS3 mic has outstanding quality, the official PS3 mic blows away the cheap 360 one. i have a 360 and that mic has a lot of issues, like disconnecting out of nowhere. I have had a PS3 for 2 years, only one game had mic issues, that was NHL 10, but that’s on the games side. PS3 mic has excellent quality.

Having played the KZ3 beta from a while back, I’m quite excited about this game.

KZ2 was a solid game with a few flaws but the beta felt like they cleaned up all the issues and made a great-looking game look even better. This is a “Midnight release buy” game for sure.

Can any body explain whats going on 2 minutes 51 seconds in the movie:
[2:48] Player was killed when cooking last grenade [ammo left 41 bullets]
[2:50] Player was healed – grenade explodes (it should have permanently kill player but its still possible that skill was used before explosion – its also happens sometimes in Killzone 2 – so its normal)
[2.51] Player was resurrected – and now surprise (glitch?) [ammo: 95, grenades: 2] – I’m aware that ammo can be raised from the ground, but what about 2 additional grenades, how they were acquired?

I liked the variety of weapons in Killzone 2. As hard it is for you guys at Guerilla to please a gamer’s need, will there be new weapons for multiplayer?
