  • Is it wrong to be offended by a PSN update?

  • Um, where are the PS Plus updates?

    and 1st!

  • nice try @Haskell420. I win!

  • Dead Space extraction is AWESOME! tons of avatars and Demos! Great update Grace~

  • It isn’t live yet :(

  • Nice seeing Dead Space Extraction as a stand alone, and cheaper than the Wii release (though you do have to shell out $100 for the Move).

Otherwise, a bit of a slow week.

  • Is this some kind of joke?…PSN store update before 5PMEST?????

April is 3 months away XD

  • This is one of the best updates ever! Goodbye money.

  • @7 its not a joke when they didnt even release anything.

  • Love the early update! Can’t wait for the bulletstorm demo :D

  • wait there isn’t anything for plus this week? i thought there was supposed to be?

  • Yes! So early. I already played the Bulletstorm Demo elsewhere… and it was ridiculous to attempt on a wonky controller. So I’m stoked to be able to play it on the console I’m used to (PS3).

Other than that, Bulletstorm is a sweet game. Dead Space Extraction demo looks interesting too, so I’ll try that, and hopefully if I can buy things today on the PSN (as I’ve been having problems), I’ll get some avatars and such.

  • PS3 Legacy: 0
    PSP Legacy: 0
    PS1 Legacy: 0
    PCE Legacy: 0

Bad. A sole PSN game which is little more than a lazy Wii port? Bad. $40 PSP games in this day and age of the systems life? Bad. None of the numerous PSOne classics that got ESRB approved in the past few months? Bad. No Pac-Man DX for PSP despite Europe having had it for weeks? Bad. No new Minis? Bad. No Back to the Future? Bad. PSN 2011 sale? So-so. This is all just… bad.

  • Thanks for an earler update Grace. Now I can waste time at work browsing all the goodies. The 11 for 11 Deal is amazing!

  • I was wondering if Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II will ever be downloadable…?

And how about Crisis Core? I have a PSP GO and I would love to play those games on it.

  • PS+ is next week, there is an extra Tuesday in January.

  • Correction…..there is not an extra Tuesday, but we did get an update last week, even though it was just a full game trial of ME2.

  • I need to upgrade my HD quickly!!! =)

  • so Dead Space Extraction is Move Compatible?

  • Why is there no content or free updates for PSN + Members ?

  • Grace , will you marry me?

  • Well that explain the early update… but at least we got amazing retail games this week :D

  • sucks no ps plus update. in for the avatars but I’ll wait until next week before I buy to see if theres any for free

  • Where is the GT5 avatars at?

  • Just got my Limited Edition copy of Dead Space 2 w/ Extraction, can’t wait to try it out.

Unfortunate that it doesn’t look like the Bulletstorm demo has any actual coop in it, considering that’s supposed to be a big selling point for the game. Strange how companies take a big bullet point feature like full campaign coop and completely omit it from a demo that’s supposed to be used to sell the game.

    Ahh well.

  • – There is no + Update this week.
    – No reason to complain about this week’s update as there’s nothing scheduled (megamixage)
    – You should trying offering a deal on the SSFIV Costume Packs SEPERATELY, I can’t even access the stupid bundle on the store.
    – Stop taking away my PS Rewards Quests when I clearly completed the store ones a million times over.
    – Umm… at least there’s the Bulletstorm demo.
    – That is all.

  • Nothing particular for me to buy this week. I could buy the SF Costume pack on sale since that is a “steal” I guess. Most of the games on sale do not interest me outside of Tumble. Insulting that the HD version of Extraction is cheaper than the SD disc version on Wii.

  • When will we see more new LBP content in the store?

  • I am gonna get Space Invaders. Good for that price.

And I can’t believe the update is out this early. Impressive.

  • Sweet Christmas, this is early! Good job, folks

  • Just makes the point stronger, the earlier the update, the crappier it is.

You could’ve at least release 1 PS1 classic…. you know…. the ones you people announced, like Vagrant Story, which is what? 1 year late compared to European PSN already?

  • Very weak. i mean why not release some old psp games? like crisis core, or something? even on the ps3 side. i mean why not have a MAG sale? It just reached 1 year would be nice to have it match the retailers price (19.99$) instead of the PSN price at 29.99.

But seriously? why are you guys taking long to release psp games on the psn? it makes me wonder how you guys will treat us when the psp2 comes out. you dont take the psp seriously now, i doubt youll take the psp2 seriously.

  • this update is sad once again. square enix

  • kinda sad with the ones on the 11 for 11 sale. the ones i want i have and the rest idk if i would ever play them at that price. oh well guess i get to save my money for next week.

  • I think BULLETSTORM looks like a fun game…so im glad to see a demo. And I see at least 3 games that got price drops so I’ll be grabbing those.

    *PROUD PS+ MEMBER*

  • Not sure how I like how there is DLC content ON release day. These are things that could have been included in the game. Shame on you EA, especially at these absurd prices.

  • I didn’t check out Horde when it first came out due to no demo, and there is still no demo with it on sale. Hmm… Most of the other games on sale this week I picked up previously.

  • PULSE 1/25 is my main like!! RDR avatars too… Thx 4 the update guys!! ^_^

  • My god is Bulletstorm garbage.

It’s like a game made by ten year olds with an outdated graphics engine.

  • Cool to see some price drops in DLCs and games and of course the avatars.

  • While the sales are good for those who haven’t already picked those games up, there’s really not much else to say…

Nice to know that Sony has the potential to blow MS out of the water with their legacy/PSN exclusives, and yet they continue to sit on their thumbs once more. :\

  • Very glad the update is earlier!

  • Grace must’ve showed up to work on time today. There’s no other explanation for why this update is so early outside of the lack of content.

  • I can’t wait to try out Bulletstorm. Other than that no big deal. What is with the PS+ lately. I’m trying to sell my buddies on jumping to the PS3. They already have one but they use the 360 primarily. I did too up till about a month or two ago. I even got them a PS+ card for Christmas. They haven’t used it because nothing peaks their interest. Sony needs to start pumping out content in this area. I don’t have a problem paying for PS+ especially if the content is worth it. Sadly, right now it is not. Give us more early betas to play. Twisted Metal, Mortal Kombat, Homefront, Ghost Recon, Uncharted 3, Operation Flashpoint, Splinter Cell HD Trilogy, Crysis 2, the list is excellent. We should be seeing early content for all of these titles right now. Behind the scenes videos, themes, avatars, mini games, digital comic promos for the games, a sneak peak at the PSP2,even beta access just because we are plus members. Will someone please explain why we don’t get a demo of Crysis 2.

  • yea i will be passing on the update this week. nothing good or of interest.
    thanks though.

  • very dissappointing update

    Get your Portable ID!

  • Nothing for me. At least it was early though!

  • early than usual. wat happened?
