  • @Jeff

Here is a good question if you can find out for us, will it be able to play Netflix and Hulu Plus on it? or maybe Vudu?

  • please at least 2 stick slot :)

  • oh and dynamic theme would be cool!

  • Will the device be compatible with android apps?

  • please reply This is awsome but make sure its small enough for your pocket and make it connect to ps3 players and have a frends list!

  • This looks great!!!Will this system have a huge game library like the older psps? Also will polyphony digital release a gran turismo for this? That would be awsome! Also the uncharted looks great but is this a new uncharted or is it uncharted 1 on ps3?Will this system be real expensive?Or will it be as much as the 3ds ot itouch? Also will you be able to thansfer umd data on the ngp?Sorry about all the questions.

  • i say make it possible to download the umd games onto this thing…also what is the multi touch pad on back for?

  • They need to add dead space to there line up.

  • Man, this little baby here will cost a fortune here in brazil, for exemple, the iPad here in brazil has the highest price u can find in any country that sells him. Of course, that if i buy this “psp2” i will buy it when i travel to the states!

  • Just thought of what is missing FM Radio!!!

  • I read somewhere on the internet that there will be software tool kit for developers that can literally let them transfer a PS3 game, to a playable format for this. Could you please talk more about this with more detail? If this is true, this would be one of the best ideas of all time! I would love to play my PS3 games on the go with full save and trophy support! It would be great if developers offered this option during a PS3 game sale, such as when a person buys a PS3 game they would have the option of getting the PSP2 (NGP) version at a reduced price or something. Please let it happen!

  • At #458

Yeah Dead Space and of course Fallout! ;)

  • If they cant handle the PSPGo and its Digital media, what makes anyone think this will be remotely different?

  • Please change the HUD… The XMB was so perfect, and this just looks so unprofessional and messy.. There’s no organization what-so-ever. There’s games thrown everywhere, and all the icons are just in random spots. Where do custom themes come into play? Because right now it looks like backgrounds are the only possible option.. I hope you have something hidden up your sleeve. Take listen from your fans like you always do Sony, which is one of the reasons I love you so much, and change this display set up ever so slightly.

  • Please make this less than $250 or $200, don’t have the cash for one of your tvs and this. btw better than the ipod touch and 3ds.

  • @461 yeah….just imagine playing gt5 anywhere without a ps3 or a tv.On a portable device!!!!!!

  • @462 dont forget a gran turismo for it.

  • These kind of systems are why I keep coming back to sony and ditching nintendo.

  • I hope there will still be the feature where you can turn the psp off, then on later, and have what u were doing still there. Also less glare would be nice.

  • Does this mean Skype with Video? I would be highly upset if it didn’t.

  • backwards compatibility would be highly favored but i doubt they’ll do it. the most i can think of is if sony made it so that you could trade in your umds to either get a game or get the “upgrade” to that game.
I see potential in that product even if it might be a bit late sony must have have plans to challenge all.

  • ivandoomer u do know that the u keep ur oraginall psp when u get the ngp u put the umd in the psp and i for got how but you transport the data to the ngp and it converts it to umd to downloaded game easily this technology started when the psp go came out look it up.

  • OMG CALL OF DUTY, SIX AXIS, GPS, TROPHIES, GOD BLESS YOU SONY IM GETTING THIS THE MONTH IT COMES OUT… OR WAIT FOR A SLIM VERSION OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG MGO MOGO OMGOMGOMG GMOG G OGMGOMGO GMGOGMOMG I LOVE MY PSP, PSP2 GONNA BE BEST THING EVAR OMG OMG OGM GOG GN GNMOG MG GOG MGO GMMGMGOMG OMG OMG ONMG WOOHOO!!!!!!

  • I love you Sony

  • [DELETED] sick! Can’t wait :)

  • It looks great, but I think it will be very expensive

  • NGP looks like it`s combination with bad ass tech and beauty of design but for me as a playstation fan the most important thing to bought NGP is not the games that i played on my ps3 before sure some of them are classics like uncharted and resistance bring them that`s ok but don`t take that forward i want to have fun with my portable system and ngp looks like going to be so much fun inside with close to move gyro , revolution in handled second analog , and track pad (man if devolopers use this correct this thing maybe change not just handled but gaming ) , OLED multi touch screen Near with GPS , front and rear cams Man there is so plenty of stuff inside it but i said it again i want to have fun with my portable with new IP`s and online capabilities

    Can`t wait for NGP

NOT : Please SONY JUST PLEASEE don`t make it`s name PSP2 make it fresh and cool name

extra not : sorry for poor english – AND PLEASE ADD TRAILER TO PS STORE THIS WEEK IN HD (not the play life one the one which shows uncharted , resistance , gravity daze)

  • Please answer.how much money does the psp ngp cost when it is available for pre order?

  • Everybody agree the psp ngp is the same as the ps3 but it has more features

  • Pretty much the most EPIC gaming system ever!!! So yea well done sony/playstation

  • First of all LOVE IT, but i would add a couple things that would make it just about perfect:

    1. U NEED i mean absolutley NEED to develope a way to convert PSP UMD games to the NGP without buying them again, cause i mean why would you want to keep switching between two devices when you could just make it simpiler and play on one instead.

    2. Adding another set of shoulder buttons (i.e. R1, R2, L1, L2), this will give the NGP and game developers a wider range of commands and actions for different games and applications alike, as well as giving it that clasic Playstation feel. This also opens up the opportunity to convert PS2 games to NGP and posibly phase out the PS2 which, (in my opinion) is a little overdue.

Well that’s pretty much it, please tell me what you think. :)

  • [DELETED]..whats going to happen to the UMD format I have crap load of them!

  • I’m starting to feel like owning Sony gaming hardware like dating that hot person in school. You know they never really loved or cared about you, but Dangit they look so good. No backward compatibility for any “new” systems, but hey you can re-purchase titles you already own. I’m thinking it’s about time to break up.

  • cool!

slimmer than the psp 1000 and 2000 and 3000, but fatter than the psp go.

    I can live with that.

  • It should flip open like the psp go it would make it look alot more nicer.

  • This thing is going to cost a fortune and no mention of battery life = “holy cow we only got a few more months before production to figure this thing out…”

I’ll gladly wait 3 years for the inevitable price drop and improved battery life, thank you very much.

  • CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!
    im preordering it!
any word on a umd trading program?????

  • Will you put back the old PSP XMB on the NGP? I really want the old PSP XMB on the NGP.

  • wen is it comes out , i really want it for my beartday is the 14/03

  • im excited woooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo but wats the price

  • cant wait for this batch of awesomeness to get in my hands!
