BO is the first of the COD series that I actually like. The unjustified trouble with public connection issues and getting together with friends in ranked games leaves a lot to be desired, though.
Actually getting the map pack may depend on the price and how well the next release of Killzone and Socom treat me. That, as well as enjoying most of GT5, just starting LBP2… Hmm, I will definitely need a really good reason to get the map pack for BO any time soon, if at all.
Not worth it, have them for xbox not that good. Only thing worth it is zombies

So your tell me that people shouldn’t hate on Black Ops for the laggy online, horrible hit detection, crappy knifing, unbalance weapons and maps, connection issues, and bugs/glitches?
I think those are fair reasons to hate a game.
I don’t know why you all are so excited about kz3, kz2 came with my ps3 and I played it for 20 minutes and pretty much decided the game was lame. Maps have been coming out first for xbox 360 since mw2 so why are you surprised? I played cod on xbox since cod4 and and glad I moved up to ps3. Why buy a new xbox so I can use hdmi? I’d wait a month for the maps to come out on a better platform anyway, cause it’s worth the wait for Ps3.
I don’t see where these lag/glitch issues are, I shoot someone, he dies, he shoots me, I die. Is this some excuse because your strategy sucks or you have the reflexes of a sloth?
no thanks. i don’t have the game and no intrest in maps. i’m just annoyed that for the longest time reading about other games some fool would pop up talking about BLOPS. well now they know when their first late maps are coming, but might i suggest they spend that on something else on the psn store.

Josh Olin I know you guys (treyarch) have a contract with Microsoft that states that they get the DLC first but you know you can release the DLC a day earlier on XBOX and the contract is still good right?

Don’t bother buying these everyone, because “us PS3 owners have bad routers and all are connectivity problems are our fault” so we wouldn’t be able to play the maps anyway.

Can’t wait. hopefully in the future however, Cod will fix the servers for multiplayer. The connection always interrupts and on Modern Warfare 2 that never happened, or it happened very little. I Use ethernet cable (which gives 100% connection) and it still messes up on black ops :(

Lol at least The maps are new. No like MW2 with 2 recycled maps and 3 maps without anything special. Obviously i dont like the bad ports to the ps3 but tbh you guys are exaggerating everything. I know i have the worst connection in this whole blog. And still have good connection and good scores.

I agree with everyone that is not getting this… I wish Treyarch realized that maps should be available for a free download like Killzone 3’s retro pack. But I guess they need the money because the budget used on Black Ops did not produce much. Anyways, KZ3 is on the way… (um before the map pack) so I bet that there expected purchased DLC’s is going to be way lower than what is really going to happen.
Buy Plants VS Zombies instead.

I will probaly get this so I can play these maps with my freinds but with killzone 3 coming out and with the new MLB the show just 5 day after this comes out sony will already be getting some money out of me but what can I say I enjoy good games and those cost money lol.
I bought the game only cause my son wanted it. Played it a few times and was disgusted at the lag and already obvious hacks that were in the game. As for “better internet connection” my upload, download speed is between 5 and 7 mbps. So that statement is plain stupidity. Now the makers of cod have been depending on the security of the ps3 system itself instead of implementing it into the game, and since the system was hacked a while ago; nuff said about the cod games. All this is common knowledge anyway. They haven’t lost the ps3 community either. Check the numbers and at any given moment there are at least 3 to 500 thousand people playing black ops. Anyways,. I’m rambling on; simply put I’m moving back to Socom. [DELETED] cod!!!

Why are game developers getting so greedy that they don’t release part of the game, so they can charge people MORE money? Along with that Black Ops isn’t even that good. Killzone 3 will be out. I’m pretty sure when it comes out Black Ops will lose 20% of it’s PS3 players.

You know, even if someone bought these add- ons, they’ll just end up getting hacked on like every other COD game right now. Its a shame these game companies aren’t saving the real players from the kids who wish that all games had cheat codes. and they wonder why all the other multiplayer online games are completely doinating right now… too bad i can’t use the AUG on other games. :D
