What’s Going on in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One? Watch this Trailer!

Over the last six months we’ve taken Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One to London, San Francisco, Seattle and Austin. Everywhere we go, people love playing in the Ratchet & Clank universe with three of their friends. The cooperative gameplay, combined with a dash of competition, has really resonated with players, and we’re eager for folks to get their hands on it next week (March 29) at our Community Day.

One thing we’ve heard a lot from our hardcore Ratchet & Clank fans and journalists (which is a group that intersects a lot!) is “this is awesome, but does it have a story?” Our answer: absolutely! All 4 One is a full Ratchet & Clank game with everything you know and love: story, cutscenes, humor, and weapons!

We’re excited to give you the first glimpse of that story, with our first big trailer for the game.

    cannot wait! Insomniac is on a roll this year. this will add nicely to all my ratchet collection. please do an hd upgrade of the ps2 titles. too bad PS Move heroes sucked

    Awesome! My only question would be when I can pick this up, but I’m sure we’ll hear a release date soon enough. :) I just wonder if it will be before Resistance 3 or not.

    Oh, now it works.
    Will this game also work with Dual Shock 3? I’m not a PS Move fan.

    looks cool, never got to finish the first one cuz it stopped working when I got to the last lvl ='( so disappointing. it’d be awesome to see remasters(or standard) on the psn so I could finally finish it =)

    Looks great! I’m a big fan of ‘Ratchet & Clank’ series and everything ‘Insomniac’ does. One question is this going to be a PlayStation Move ‘Only’ title? Or will it support PS Move?

      It’s lots of fun! You have an AI helper when you play by yourself so you can do all of the co-op stuff even if you’re playing alone!

      4-player, online or offline (or in any combination of online and offline players) as well as drop-in drop-out

    this might be the first r&c game i don’t buy. i don’t care for the forced co-op and i’m tired of single player games needlessly being made multi-player

    Insomniac picked the release date for Move Heroes to promote this and Heroes isn’t really getting love anywhere else = Sony admitting the Move is a bust? I mean, come on, the Senior Community Manager of Insomniac Games posts on the blog the day a Rachet and Clank game is being released and he doens’t even give it a shout out? How “distancing themselves from Move” can you get.

    Love it! Is this online co-op, couch co-op or both? And what if you wanted to play it by yourself.. are the other 3 players CPU or is it just your character?

    Why would Insomniac say anything about Playstation Move Heroes when it’s being developed by another developer (Nihilistic)? It’s not their baby.

    This game is really starting to look good. I wasn’t too sure about the first few trailers but it’s really starting to look like a full fledged R&C game. Love it!!

    Awesome trailer! Will the game have a recap of the comics so players know what’s going on? I’ve only read the first one, but the rest of the comics are on their way.

    Hey great trailer however i have a few questions
    1) Does the game change depending on the amount of players? So are the levels different when your playing with 2 or 4 ppl? Like in lara croft and the guardian of light, the game is slightly different whether your playing co op or alone so im asking if this game is like that or always the same. For example, if you are playing 4 player co op does it actually require 4 ppl to complete the level or you could with 2?

    2)Is the game only a platformer or will it have co op puzzles?

    I can’t wait for this. I have to say, on the announcment for this game, you really took the time to answer every single comment, even the blank one I wrote using code tags.
    You guys are amazing developers, and make addicting games that I play over and over again.

    Co-op is MY thing! Not every game needs it, but I think it’ll diversify the R&C formula a bit.
    Also, the fact that Resistance three will have split-screen campaign AND competitive is a HUGE plus in my book.

    All 4 One is going to be epic! Just a couple of quick questions, though.

    #1: Does Klunk even know that Dr. Nefarious is temporarily missing during his latest failure in his schemes?
    #2: Will All 4 One pick up from where the end of the Future trilogy, A Crack in Time, left off?
    #3: Will The Plumber from past games ever make a return appearance like before?
    #4: Will All 4 One be even more longer than A Crack in Time?
    And finally, #5: How did Qwark became the president of Kerwan’s Metropolis?

    I think the co-op feature is great, but i wish it optional. I know i will miss the traditional R&C gameplay……

    I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised! This game looks about to be a great success. And I just adore the visuals and style of this game. The idea of 4 player co-op in a single player campaign is awesome as it is, but imagine how fun the multiplayer could be. I smell an instant classic for the PS3.

    The only thing that might (emphasis on might) make this more appealing is if they made it a Play, Create, Share content game.

    Hey, will All 4 One have any competitive multiplayer. I know there’s the 4 player co-operative for the stroy mode, but will there be a competitive sort of multiplayer?(Online preferably lol)

    Looks like a lot of fun, but its nothing like the really Ratchet and Clank.. What i don’t like is that it looks like a little kids game. In the old games they were always talking dirty and blowing crap up… I miss that. :(
