Want to become Famous? Want to become a Mission Designer and have your mission appear in inFAMOUS 2? As promised, here are the juicy details of how to participate in the inFAMOUS 2 Limited Release User Generated Content (UGC) Beta.
Potential candidates can sign up at inFAMOUSthegame.com starting on Monday, March 14th at 12pm Noon Pacific Time using the ““Sign Up For the UGC Beta” link. The sign-up period will only last for one week, ending March 21st at 2pm Pacific, so don’t miss your chance to create. Using what can only be described as “voodoo magic,” we will select a group of lucky winners to participate in the Beta Test, starting April 12th. The ambitious and talented Mission Designers that are selected will be emailed a golden ticket, which is technically called a Beta Voucher, in early April. The Beta Vouchers will be sent out in phases, so if you do not get one immediately, you may receive one later on.
Hi guys! I’m here today to share some details for Top Spin 4, in stores tomorrow, March 15th in the US and March 18th internationally. A quick reminder: if you pre-order from GameStop today, you can still get a Vintage Andre Agassi, mullet and all!
Top Spin is one of my favorite video game franchises because it truly redefines the way you experience the sport of tennis. Intuitive controls make gameplay immediately accessible, yet deep and rewarding for the tennis experts who want to plan their strategy and target their opponent’s weaknesses.
Top Spin 4 also has two PS3-related features: the use of PlayStation Move and 3D. Recently, I interviewed 2K Czech game designer Remi Ercolani for background on the use of PlayStation Move and 3D.
Today, we’re quite ecstatic to unveil the new look of the PlayStation.Blog. As the site marches towards its 4th anniversary in June, the patchwork, add-on look of these pages began to resemble the Weasley house. Also, we were tired of being unfavorably compared to our more attractive, cosmopolitan European sister site.
Unlike commercial sites, we didn’t redesign to serve you more ads, or because we have an in-house art staff that we have to justify. We redesigned the PlayStation.Blog with your requests in mind. How do we know what you’re looking for? You’ve been voting with your clicks.
Over the past year, we’ve been analyzing where readers click on the site and, as you can see, items like PlayStation Store update posts and recent stories light up like a Christmas tree.
I still remember when I first played the original Ratchet & Clank, way back at E3 2001. A few days later, safely back at the office, the entire team (at a previous incarnation of Official PlayStation Magazine) was chattering away about their favorites from the big show.
“Hands down, Ratchet & Clank,” I declared. The others weren’t yet convinced, including one of my fellow editors who happened to adore the Spyro series (as I did too). Even he wondered at my enthusiasm for this still-unproven PS2 adventure platformer.

Hi SingStar fans! Another two weeks have flown by, which means it’s time for another SingStore update. This week we have over 40 new SingStar tracks that will be added to the SingStore, along with a few new PlayStation Move dance add-ons, and a new Snow Patrol song pack.
There are a few classic hits in the mix that we’ll be definitely be adding to our SingStar libraries. There is nothing like some good upbeat Motown tunes to put you in a good mood as you sing along. So this week we’ll be grabbing The Four Tops, “I Can’t Help Myself,” The Temptations “My Girl,” and Marvin Gay and Kim Weston’s “It Takes Two” – which makes a really fun duet song by the way.
And since 80’s rock is always our guilty pleasure, we’ve also got our eye on Poison’s “Fallen Angel.” Yup, we’ll be adding that alongside “Nothin’ But A Good Time” and “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” which are already in the SingStore.
