This Week in PlayStation Home: LOOT Space Station, Sodium Update and Tons of New Games and Items!

This Thursday, April 7th, the PlayStation Home community will be treated to a wide range of new content – from updates to top PlayStation Home-exclusive games to 100% original videos and plenty more!

First off, LOOT releases their brand new Space Station – a public space devoted to videos and special events. Check it out when it releases this Thursday into the wide world of PlayStation Home.

You’ll notice a few changes to the Sodium Hub including a brand new extension to Scorpio’s bar, teleporters (get ready for the impending launch of Sodium Two), and other desert mysteries. Head to the Sodium Hub this week and see what you can find.

Jet Set Games delivers a batch of new items, sure to help you sneak your way through a crowd (or at least help you appear to not be part of the ongoing Conspiracy) all while allowing you to continue #WINNING!

Poor Lucy the Goose has been robbed and the thief, Baron von Eggenschtealer, is still at large! Let the egg hunt begin by picking up the Baron’s Eggcellent Plan Active Object – available this Thursday in the Sodium store. And while you are there, be sure to pick up the Spring rain gear, guaranteed to help you survive the April showers.

Come this Thursday you can transform your personal space into a true rockstar’s pad with a selection of new instruments, throw a fiery birthday bash with our new active items, or even deck your avatar out in Judge Dredd gear. Check out this video for a look at the newest additions to our long line of PlayStation Home original virtual items.

The PlayStation Home Community Theater receives another update this week first with a new episode of HomeCast Rewind where the staff interviews HellFire Games about the recent major update to Novus Prime. Next up, Replay with Doc delivers interviews with Sodium One’s reigning world champ, Grimm, as well as the winner of the recent MLG MAG tournament, TheLastNinja-.

    hey GW does the sodium update bring new rewards or is it just a make over for the launch of sodium 2?… and are we ever gonna get the singstar outfits here in the US?

      The Sodium Hub update is in preparation for the Sodium 2 launch, but you never know what mysteries Sodium and the desert hold.

      As for SingStar, we have no announcements of content updates at this time.

    Haven’t been able to log in to ANY of the PS web pages (blog, forums, etc.) at work all day. Got lucky that my phone was still logged in. :) Now, about the update. Space station looks to be cool, not thrilled about the sodium makeover (just can’t resist teasing us non-beta testers who’re dying for S2, can ya??? ;) ). Still no mansion garage, eh? Any ideas as to whether or not we’ll have some Adonis DNA with that tee? There better be, because some of us have one gear, one speed, GO!! lol

      The Mansion Garage is getting final tweaks and should be out soon. As for the meme shirt, who needs more than #WINNING? As for the Sodium update, you know it’s coming, and should be very soon. We know you’re excited—it’s going to be a wild ride (literally). GO!

    Given that Charlie Sheen JUST trademarked 22 phrases, including two of the ones mentioned here, specifically for the video game realm, are these Charlie Sheen type T-shirts licensed? Just wondering how long we are going to have them for since now that said phrases are trademarked, if they are not licensed they are illegal and will be going sometime soon.

      I believe that as long as you’re using a SCEA (North America) account, it should work just fine as long as your bandwidth is strong enough for a video stream.

    I want to take this time to vent on how disappointed I am in the Mansion Space I have bought all the “parts” to this “Connected” apartment to find out the apartments are not connected at all it is different spaces they are completely independent of each other and connect in no way. I remember that there was a video where people were in the first floor looking out while showing the pool area. THERE is absolutely no way to let your friends stay in one section of the Mansion while other people travel to the others. Will it truely be connected in the future because right now it is a complete Suck and nothing at all what was advertised.

    @Northstar77, Unfortunately PS Home fooled you and everyone else who expected the Mansion Space to be “complete” if you purchased all parts to it.

    So we still don’t have a definite date for Sodium 2 or 1.5 update which will still put us in BETA???
