THIS IS NOT AN ONLINE PASS!

Online pass is when you buy a used copy & you dont have access to the MP… at all w/o buying it for a fee.

For SOCOM, buy the game NEW and you are REWARDED with some free stuff that value $15… later… IF you get the USED COPY… guess what… you still get to play all the ONLINE MODES as IS when the game LAUNCHED. Then if there are new stuff added and you feel like its worth it… you buy the other stuff… just like any DLC.

So you can still RENT (and if you love it, buy it new), you can borrow your friends copy later, etc etc.

Well Mr. Dunham or Smash as I like to call you, heh. How you doing brother. I personally can’t wait for the game to drop tomorrow and the KB commercial with Rob and the other Seals is great but, I would really of liked to have seen some video shot on the new LCS2 Ship from the Port Authority Scene. With that ship going at 50 knots on the water with KB’s hair almost coming off, that would be epic. Love the commercials just a thought. Go Socom!

This is a MP focused game that if you buy second hand you pretty much cant play. And your announcing this as something to be celebrated… that your giving to the fans as a bonus!!!

I spend a ton of money on games, old and new, and the bad reviews and meh beta already had me take SOCOM off the buy new list and now that you did this stupidity it will fall in the buy never list.

What you fools fail to recognize is that your online communities suffer when you do this nonsense. I’m surprised you’re letting used buyers play online without paying a fee period.

So, how does this work when my significant other also would like to play this game? Do we have to buy the game and an additional $15 Pro code..? If it only applies on one PSN account, then you just made the decision between this week’s game releases that much easier.

I buy most of my games new to begin with, but I still wish companies would stop doing this.
