Red Johnson’s Chronicles Investigates PSN Today

+ Posted by Djamil Kemal

red johnson

For those of you who are into investigation games and who like noir crime movies, Red Johnson’s Chronicles is for you. We really tried to create a new genre with a mix of classic adventure and innovating gameplay. In this 8 to 10 hour long adventure, you’ll have to solve the murder of one of most hated men in town. Explore dark worlds, find, analyze and use clues that will lead you to the truth. Question suspects, spot their lies, push them over the edge and, when necessary confront them in quick fire action scenes.

We worked really hard to make sure they perfectly fit the script so that you always feel immersed. To add this feeling of immersion, we also tried our best to do a “tactile” game. At many occasions, you’ll have to move objects in 3D and, handle them and see how to use them.

+ Posted by Ciaran Walsh

chime

Hello everyone! I hope you’ve been enjoying Chime Super Deluxe since we launched three weeks ago – we’re delighted with the great reviews it’s been getting so far. I’m especially pleased with the reaction to the music, obviously! But I’m not here to talk about that, I’ve got some news about a competition (enter here) that could see your music rubbing shoulders with Philip Glass, Plaid, Moby and the rest…

In case you’re not familiar with how the game works, here’s beat-boxer extraordinaire Shlomo explains the basics in the video above. Give it a watch!

We’re inviting aspiring musicians to submit tracks for a chance to appear in Chime Super Deluxe. We will pick our favorite and work with the winner to turn the track into a unique level. Players around the world could hear your music and see your name on screen! We will also profile you on the game’s official website and link to your music online.

See inFAMOUS 2’s Mission Designer in Action, More Details on Single Player

infamous 2 ugc

A week ago, Sucker Punch shared a couple of new inFAMOUS 2 missions, as well as the full download, so to speak, of the game’s User-Generated Content tools.

A full UGC suite in a game like I2 is a new experience on PS3, so what can you do with it? And how difficult is it to put something together? Sucker Punch Senior Game Designer Karl Deckard sat down with us to demonstrate how to remix something fun.

As a huge devotee of the first inFAMOUS, I was eager to get my hands on the DualShock 3 to try out the new single player levels. Here are my impressions to go along with the video:

Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Modes Detailed, Beta Hits 6/28

uncharted 3

Just a few days ago we hosted a large press event with editors from the US and Europe where we gave everyone a first taste of our expansive multiplayer mode in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Uncharted 3 multiplayer is a complete evolution from the initial foray we made into multiplayer with Uncharted 2. The leap forward in gameplay, technology — not the least of which is 3D stereoscopic support — and depth is nothing short of astounding, no joke. Our goal has always been to take the signature Uncharted gameplay and our penchant for awesome set-piece moments to serve as the key building blocks for creating a multiplayer experience like no other. We dipped our toe in with Uncharted 2. Now, with Uncharted 3, we’re diving in headfirst.

After three years of production, Under Siege is finally ready to hit the PlayStation 3! In North America, it will be available on May 3rd on the PlayStation Store for $19.99.

Under Siege is a real-time action and strategy game where a small group of heroes fight against a huge invading army. The game is set in a medieval fantasy world and follows the story of Eirik, Kari and Asgeir. Designed to be played with the DualShock 3 controller or the PlayStation Move motion controller.

The built-in game editor is one of Under Siege’s most interesting features, enabling players to create their own maps and game modes. The same exact tool that was used by the team to create all of the levels is available to everyone from the start, and there’s no need to play through the campaign to unlock anything.
