The untold origin of Iron Man continues in Ultimate Iron Man II (2007)! When last we saw him, young Tony Stark was nearly blown to bits. How much of him survived his initial Iron Man trial run, and where does the young genius go from here? As you know from our Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One blog post, we spent yesterday with a large group of North American and European press here in Los Angeles. They didn’t just see North Carolina’s new Ratchet & Clank game though – the Burbank-based Resistance 3 team was on hand to present a new single-player area, multiplayer map, and weapon.
Our new single-player area finds hero Joseph Capelli and Dr. Malikov in the dark woods of Pennsylvania, hunted by Chimeran snipers and dropships. In this section of the game, players must sneak through the forest, avoiding the spotlights of the dropships while dispatching the sniper hybrids. They also run into Hybrids that are shielded by drones – requiring Capelli to destroy the drones first before attacking the Hybrids.
Hi everyone,
Are you ready for two more rounds of new PlayStation Plus content? Well, April continues to be the biggest Plus month ever in terms of content offerings with some huge discounts and free games coming your way over the next two weeks! As announced on the PlayStation Europe blog last week, we’ve secured a deal with Ubisoft to offer all Plus subscribers 20% discounts on the games Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes (available now), Outland (coming April 26), and Beyond Good and Evil (coming this May). And if you didn’t notice it, the much-anticipated Steel Rain DLC for Killzone 3 became available yesterday, free for an entire month to PlayStation Plus subscribers (regular price $4.99).
A few months back, Valve announced some initial details of Steam’s debut in the PS3 version of Portal 2. While people were excited to hear about the PS3 game’s inclusion of Steam access to Portal 2 on any PC or Mac, they also had a bunch of questions.
Portal 2 for PlayStation 3 is the first title to support Steam on a console. Specifically, that means it offers cross-platform matchmaking, gameplay, friends, chat, and achievements, all powered by Steam. Steam on the PS3 also saves co-op game progress and single player saved games to the Steam Cloud, enabling players to pick up where they left off on any PlayStation 3.
So, here’s a bit more info about Steam on the PS3.
Yesterday in Los Angeles, we presented a new demo of Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One to an audience of US and European journalists. While we presented some new levels and weapons/gadgets, we also wanted to show once again that All 4 One is a sprawling new Ratchet & Clank adventure, with a full story, big arsenal, and tons of co-op mayhem. Further, in All 4 One, we like to say there’s an “I” in team: work together, but reward yourself. You all have to help each other out, but at the same time, the winner will earn the best rewards and get the first chance to buy the newest weapons in the game.

Ever since we announced the Killzone 3 Helghast Edition, one of the questions we’ve been asked most frequently is “will there be more Killzone action figures?” Today, we can answer that question with a proud and unequivocal yes.
Today will see the release of Killzone Series 1, an action-figure series consisting of the Helghast Assault Infantry and the uncloaked Helghast Sniper. Creator DC Unlimited is no strangers to PlayStation properties: Last year, it released awesome plastic renditions of the characters from Ratchet & Clank and Resistance.
