Everyone complaining about wanting useless features like crossgame chat needs to go play 360 with the other idiots that don’t know a damned thing about gaming or technology and leave the PS3 to the real gamers who have brains.

I’m trying to understand y is it that ppl blame Sony? If a person breaks into your car, and steals ur purse, wallet, or money, no matter how good ur security system is, they are goin 2 get if they want it bad enough. Another thing, out of any1 that should b pissed off is Sony, it was estimated that they lost $3 million everyday they were offline. 3 million?!!! Idc who u r, that sux. So $74 million, that’s almost a million per account!! Sony is the ones that hav a right to b pissed. I’m happy its back, ppl that were pissed, u need to go outside, get athletic, get a job (summer), or get a girl/boy and get laid, or (here’s the kicker) DO WAT U DID WEN U HAD A SEGA, INVITE PPL OVER!!!. My point is there is plenty to do on an entire PLANET. It basically says in the user agreement that if it breaks they will try to fix it, but the hard truth is they don’t HAV 2, its just more worth it that they do. So appreciate wat u hav, not wat u don’t. To Sony, much luv, rebuilding an entire network in 24 days is dwn rite impressive, sum can’t do that in 24 years. I for one understand NOTHIN is hacker proof, there is NO argument against that, its simply the way its, get used to it its called LIFE its full of disappointments.

Companies should always be prepared for things like this. Always think of worst case scenarios and try to have a plan and backup software, servers, etc. in place and ready for such a event.
I’m sure SONY lost a lot of customers due to the length of time it has taken for the service to be restored, but if they would have had a backup plan in place and they would have restored service in a much more timely manner they wouldn’t have lost all of the revenue and cutomers that they did, not to mention the other companies that lost money who develop the games for PS3.
Just like BP and the oil rig disaster, a plan of action should have been in place before the accident.
Always have a dedicated department looking for ways to exploit your network and hopefully you find the holes before the hackers do.

Sony did the right thing by protecting their intellectual property and platform.
Anonymous were driven by completely selfish reasons (George Hotz saga).
I want to thank Sony for taking the matter serious.
Unlike Microsoft and Apple – Sony have the guts to take on cyber bullies.
Thanks to Kaz and the various Sony teams for highlighting the serious crimes that can be committed to any network… be it Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Valves Steam service or even Google etc.
No network is 100% safe.
With that said i’m buying LA Noire and Killzone 3 to celebrate the return of PSN :)

Sony is the heart and soul of gaming, they will always be. From your loyal fans you will get no negative feedback, we are just happy that it is finally back on. If I can give any feedback though it would be that the addition to cross-game chat should have been added. Anyway thanks again Sony and keep up the good work!
this is great if you allready have games and downlaoded content but if your like me and went out and bought pspgo not knowing the day before they shut down the system and not having a sony system before. and your still waiting to get online and use your 50 dallor card you paid for, guess what still screw’d should have spent all that mony on my X-box system at least then I could play something. I just wanted something portable to play on while out or at home when I’m bored. what a nightmare man I just want to play the thing just mad I cant.

wow took long enogh i had to listen to people saying xbox is beter and that herts because ps3 is way beter it free well after you by the more expensive console and it’s more expensive for a reason blue ray or just basic hd is way better then seeing stuff on an xbox and also last thing xbox is not in 3D!

Cross gaming chat exists, but it’s just the message system…you can’t focus on a game and chat it up at the same time.
