  • Wow this is so awesome, thank you Sony! But do I need to choose either two PS3 or two PSP games? Can I choose one PS3 and one PSP game? Because I only really interested in Wipeout and Pursuit Force.

  • Nice, thanks… we now know what US & Europe will get, but do you know or have a link for the Asian region? I want to know what they’re offering but haven’t heard a news from them :(

  • wow free games! I’ve all ways played LBP at my friends place…now i can download it for free. thank you sony. now ummm is there a date when the store comes back online?

  • It is pretty obvious who the whiny little 12 year olds are. OMG PSN was down for three weeks my life ended and now you are giving away all this free stuff that I already have. Oh poor me Sony please deposit 50 dollars in my account so I can buy 6 or 7 games. I cannot believe this now I will sell my PS3 because you didn’t give me everything that I want.

Seriously, some of you need to take a look at what you write and think it over. Do you realize how pathetic and utterly feeble you sound?

This was more than Sony needed to do for any of us. Technically, they only owed PS plus and Qrio people ANYTHING. This is a free service. This a gift to you. This is not your own wishlist. The developer’s of these games had to cooperate to make this happen. Sony is not giving away free cash you ******* imbeciles.

  • thank you sony for getting us up and running again and for the package much appreciated

  • lol ive already got 3 /5 PS3 games offered XD

  • I already bought those games.

Loyal customers are getting screwed :/

  • So I already own those games…I guess I don’t get any games free then. Note to self, stop buying content so in the future you can get a free game or two. :(

  • what about those PS3 owners that already have all of the offered games?

  • can anyone answer my question 612

  • free stuff from a free service… and people still complain. yes the outage sucked, but its back now so relax. it could be worse, you could be paying for online service like xbox…

    enjoy

  • what games should i get

  • *DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOLL* Best. Welcome. Back. Gift. EVAR!!

  • Thanks for the great games to choose from!

  • Now I Can Play Black Ops……………………………………………….Ohh S**t I lost it…………………………………….Oh Yeha I have Mortal Kombat Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Did the planning of this Apperciation Program take into account actual customers or just general users?

I ask because as a Loyal Customer who has all the titles your offering as a “Welcome Back” incentive seem to be for general users.

I am trying to keep my internal fanboy in and type correctly but I am pretty upset by the offerings for this program.

I have been effected by this since April 20th when i watched with my own eyes as the network was taken down. I sat every day trying to update or get a update on what was going on.

I am a avid fan and customer of sony.

I am adding my voice to the growning unhappy with the old libray of games offered.

Am ok with recycling your PS PLUS Content by the way.

But in it would make more since to give everyone something new or a credit opposed to offering us stuff you already know we have.

I love the comment that I read as you see what trophies we have… could you add a IF\ELSE ?

Last thought is now I dont want to buy any more day one content because it will just get recycled as free in two years like the year+ old titles offered.

Rant over. I feel a little better.

  • @621 the market would be flooded with such sealed copies in that instance and you’d be lucky to get $5.

  • How about giving me something that I don’t already have?

  • While I’m appreciative of the gesture, I can’t help but feel a little disappointed with what is being offered. I own and have platinum’d both Infamous and LittleBigPlanet. I bought Wipeout on release day, and just bought Dead Nation when it was offered to PS+ users for $7.50 a couple months ago. The only game I don’t have on that list is Super Stardust HD so that I kind of feel that I’m getting the short end of the stick for being a better customer.

I would have liked to see a few more choices. I would have been thrilled with Modnation Racers for PS3.

Also, the PSP options need clarification. I own a PS3 and a PSP. Will I get two selections from the PS3 list in addition to two selections from the PSP list, or is it a choice of two between both platforms?

  • yay. i am happy. Sony is awesome!

  • haha lol @631 thats what Im saying

  • add me if u wanna play some Black Ops :D

  • thanks sony

  • thanks again sony iv’e been a dedicated playstation owner from day one and that wont change and i appreciate all the hard work you guys did to get every think back and running again. i juss dont understand why other people wanted to get an xbox 360 just because psn was down what some people do not realize is that things like these happen one day or another to whoever it may be & be thankful that your getting a free online service that allows you to play, chat, and meet new people on it.

I agree. A vote by the PSN community should be conducted. This way nobody will have the right to complain abou the choices.
    Please do a vote.

  • I don’t feel like they owe us anything (other than the insurance for just in case our credit cards did get out there) so I’m fine with the fact that I already have all of those games. PS+ for a month is cool, but I’m not really interested in it after that :P

  • Nice…..thank you sony!!!

  • Oatmeal_Savage19

Thank you Sony! Free games that i don’t have always works for me lol – we’ll see what we got going on in PS Home. Good start and lets see where this goes from here

  • Horrible situation all together, first the network down then this “welcome back” package, this might be the push for me to go to XBOX.This is how sony treats loyal customers,by giving them games that almost everyone has already.thanks for letting my info get hacked and thaks for the “welcome back” package.lol.

  • what games do i get i never played any of them so i need helping picking

  • Are these downloads through PSN or is it a regular game.

  • dancinglights800

i’m not understand, is for me to pick two games from the list to download?and if I download the DLC ModNation racers or some premium themes would have a problem? that would be free? but, i´m so happy because PSN is back Good job sony!

  • I think it is a fantastic gesture on Sony’s parts to offer up free games in this manner. It must be said though that Sony’s hardcore fan base would have been the people most affected by this outage. Those same people will most likely already own these titles. As I said, this is a fantastic gesture on Sony’s part, however, the actual titles on the list don’t seem very well thought out.

  • Im so happpy that the *Playstation Network* is back onn now i cantt do nothinq but stay in my room && play Blackkkk Opsss….thanks guys for everythinq

  • W-8oRd3rPaTr0l-J

This sucks, I knew this was going to happen. I knew they were going to give us sony games or sony exclusive games so they wouldn’t take too much of a hit. I would’ve rather gotten a $10 credit to my wallet. People who support the system the most and have already bought all this stuff don’t get crap.

  • I don’t wanna sound ungrateful or anything..but Wipreout HD was given away with ps+, I got a discount on dead nation and I purchsed inFAMOUS when it first came out..so I own 3 of the 5 titles and LBP and superstar dust does not interest me. So is there anything else that you can give away? I’ll take Mod Nation Racers!! :D
Also..I’m A PS+ Subscriber and I have yet to get an email about the network being down. And you havent even tried to give any info for canadians that may have been affected by the stolen info….just sayin’. I do appreciate the 2 months of free PS+ tho, So thanks alot sony. :)

  • thanks sony!!! ill be getting dead nation and little big planet and get 100 free stuff from ps home SONY YOU ARE THE BEST EVER!!!

  • I agree with Khronikos. Sony actually doesn’t owe any of us anything so stop whining. The people that have these games or most, sorry but you shouldn’t be hoping for newer games like Killzone 3 or Black Ops. Sony lost alot of money in this hacking so if you are a true fan, you would see that.

  • Are you people serious? Wanting wallet credit, and sayin you own all the games or dont want them? Then use the music service, discover PS home…or just be happy its back online, period…good golly! PSN is free! I was one of the first one’s complaining when it went down, but if you havent lost any actual money….what the heck are you complaining about? Being bored for a few weeks…..O my….yea they definitely owe you like $100 wallet funding or a new PS3……get a life. Typical, thats whats wrong with the world today, everyone feeling they are owed something for losing a service that was free to begin with…………..here’s an idea: Give all the people whatever they want as an alternative, then charge those people $50 a year to use PSN……….Maybe then they would have a legit complaint…………..

Thanks for all the hard work Sony, and putting together a kick ass welcome back package…..Its tuff to please 77 million users, but you came close!

  • @612: Re-register then use the most recent one. Each link should have a expiration date all to itself. Are you not getting the email confirmation or something?

  • What about all the users from Europe and other places?

  • I though flower or one of there older psn titles would have been nice as a give away.

  • xXGuitar_PickXx

Is that little big planet 1 or 2? both are great games though.

  • x__PIRATE_______

Great job sony.I have a question… are the servers in Japan and Hong kong down still? I tried to log into both my Japan and Hong Kong accounts and it says Playstation Network is undergoing maintenance.Anyone else having this problem? I Love You Erin E*N*I*G*M*A FTW!!!!

  • How will this work with Sub-Accounts? Does only the master account get two free or…?
Additionally, I feel like rebuilding PSN would have been a good opportunity to introduce a graduate system for sub-accounts once we’ve turned 18…like I did nearly two years ago.

  • SMH .

  • Great stuff Sony, I already have all of the games but to have them on the network without having to put in a CD is a nice plus, so thank you very much, it is appreciated!!! 8)

  • if ur good at Black Ops zombies add me im good but i need some1 better add me.

  • so if I have both ps3 and psp I will get 4 games (2 for ps3 and 2 for psp)? just asking…

  • dancinglights800
