  • So it’s not the end of the month like Sony said. What else is new lie some more Sony. Ban all your garbage products

  • @lilcanuch.. that made my head hurt tring to read that giberish…

  • @SEAL_TEAM_7p – lol all you need to, but the fact of the matter is that I only have the time and money for 3 or 4 full priced games a year, anyway. They only two games I would have missed out on in the last couple of years would have been Uncharted and Infamous. I still would have had Bioshock, Borderlands, Bayonetta, Need for Speed, Red Dead Redemtion, Team Fortress, Portal, Dragon Age and plenty of others. They look better on PC and they start out $10 cheaper. Plus I’d have a REAL media center, not this half hearted crap where Sony decides what I can play on it.

  • im sure its a regular occurence for you

  • WOW………People in South Korea played Playstation 3? Lol, big shocker to me.

  • Sweet :)

    Thanks, Sony!

  • seriously that made little or no sence at all.. you should try again.. word it better cuz I don’t even know what you were tring to say..

  • @lilcanuck get off the fence man lol

  • sweet want cod new map pack

  • Hey, anyone else having trouble signing in to the forums? I’d been able to a few days ago but now I can’t. No big deal or anything, just curious. I’m sure it’ll be working with the rest shortly.

  • they should give us a better free game then some cheep arcade game that wasint very famous i dont even want little big planet i already have infamous and i dont want those other games there offering for us for free i rather have la noire and the sims 3 disc for free game give out i heard they are doing those are the games i rather choose from but i dont think they would give us the better games for free

  • @superfrick Seriously? the store will be up man and you can spend it . I also have money in my PSN Wallet about $40. Yes it is frustrating I can’t spend it…but I know I will get to and I will enjoy the DLC/games I purchase. Patience my friend. Sony isn’t keeping intentionally keeping you from spending/having access to your wallet. They want you to have access to it so you can enjoy PSN when it is fully restored…and you are getting some free stuff for your wait…heck they may even throw in some more freebies who knows. Some psone classics would be cool in my opinion I love some of those games…though I own all the Final Fantasy games with Tactics being the exception as I have the PSP version that has cool cut-scenes and voice overs . Oh and why get hostile towards me? I’m just trying to bring some civility back to the blog and explaining what Sony is dealing with as they continue the restoration progress….I Thought I was being friendly…

  • Sony sucks
    Who wants my Ps3????
    Sony=Lie
Another week and still are people happy about it.

  • This service is currently undergoing maintenance.

  • how about you guys get your servers back up and offer compensation to your users after an information hack attack and then work around the clock just to look at the blog and see little kids whining about not being able to play black ops whining that sony lies.

yo how many of you kids even have fundamental knowledge about network servers and the procedures to restore them? none of you right? didn’t think so.

  • TheRealZANGETSU

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • @Null_Shock…If you keep taking Sony’s side your gona need Null _Flame

  • sorry pointless to argue we all have our views enjoy yours ill enjoy mine by saturday you will all be gone on your happy ways till you have something else to complain about not really a big issue to me with the store and about the codes you get in the games you seriously think you will get screwed out of them the game devs wont let that happen to customers who had no control over such things you will get them

  • @lilcanuch .. you can relax man I’m not going to flame you anymore.. You took it way to personal last time.. I just didn’t understand the point you were tring to make.

  • @primesuperman7 you really think they’d do something that big to persuade the producers of sims 3 and la noire to give it out for FREE when it hasn’t even been 2 years since its release?(especially la noire) They’d go bankrupt. So, better luck next time!

  • @nick9221 I’m lucky? Seriously? Flame me off the blog?..making threats on the Internet shows your complete lack of intelligence and maturity. If you hate Sony so much leave, Sell your PS3 get an xbox. No one will miss you.

  • What about DLC codes that expired while the PSN Store was down? Will those get an extension?

  • EVERYONE CONGRATULATE JEFF RUBENSTEIN FOR HIS AMAZING WORK. HE TYPED AN ENTIRE TWO SENTENCES ON HIS BLOG ENTRY. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY JEFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • to all the people who are now going to get rid of their ps3s because it might be Friday, how cheap? I need a second one so my wife and I can stop arguing over whose turn it is, lol. please contact me via pm on the forums. also, thumbs up to Null_Shock – hooray for the voice of reason. I am a web programmer, and I work hand-in-hand with networking guys all the time, and I can tell you that the fact that PSN got back up as fast as it did is amazing, if they truly “rebuilt” the network. We’re talking about doing something they originally spent maybe 3-6 months on in 3 weeks. not bad. I also won”t be surprised (as another commenter suggested) if the store comes back on in the US before Friday, they’re going to do this in a phased manner, just like they did with the general network – the US came first then, and it will be the first to get the store back.

  • @800 contact the publisher of the game they will let you know…I would believe most would give you a new code to redeem considering this situation.

  • Shrimpdude@ Sony will not help no one, they dond care sh!!
That why Sony is a lie
And for those people that thing that the ps store will come back today, tomorrow, or close to the end of week dond waste your time because they are not posting something to waste time, is coming end of week or later.
Sony says its true what I say!!!!!!

  • Will the money we had in are wallets still be there?

  • Nice job Sony but next time try to do it before all these little kids(16 and under) get out of school soon. Speaking of little kids, Sony you should make online play only for 18 and older….that would be great let the little kids play with their action figures or the Wii or somethin where they belong.

  • Yet another reason why I can’t stand the PS3 community. Reading comprehension being one of them.

  • @nick9221 you would have been ignored anyway friend. I was already bored before I finished my last reply…any conversation with you beyond this comment is utterly pointless. If you had a just cause to “flame” it might have been fun….oh well.

  • Of course ignorance shining brighter than all else is a staple of this community.

  • FAIL!
lol, I knew it would not be up today…

  • Good morning ladies & gentlemen,

I’ve been trying to keep up on the blog pages these past weeks, and have decided to add my own opinions on what I have seen.

    1. Please review your posts for spelling and grammatical mistakes. I would like to think that we are all intelligent people here. And I have also noticed that there is an automatic spell check feature. If you see a red line under a word, fix it. Thanks so much.

    2. The general consensus seems to be that Sony owes compensation for this fiasco. Specifically free games, dlc’s, etc. Unfortunately, Sony is under no legal obligation to offer anything for free. Thank you corporate America. The only thing they do owe is an explanation and access to things that have already been purchased. Why that issue hasn’t been resolved is despicable. Sony is basically holding our software purchased in good faith hostage.

    Continued –>

  • 3. A targeted time for restoration is just that. A target. It isn’t a promise, and a specific date was never mentioned. Do I think it’s acceptable that they have failed to meet this target time and again? Not at all. But to scream that they lied is ridiculous.

    4. Sony doesn’t deserve any praise. They are a multi-billion dollar, multi-national corporation. I, personally, would think that their network security would be good enough to stop someone from hacking them in the first place. I don’t blame them for getting hacked, but I blame them for not taking appropriate measures to prevent it. I would also think that after approximately 6 weeks, these issues would be resolved. Or at least addressed to the consumers. This is Sony’s first post to this blog in a week that addresses the network and store. All it says is that there is a new target for restoration. Why would anyone praise Sony for this?

Thank you for your time. Spell check is your friend.

  • lol @ kidslayer yep he would just run around and use ur info and say that what he does or what he got lol

  • Will I ever get to log into the forum or main playstation website again? It seems that those pages are still down for maintenance. Haven’t you guys gotten the URL exploit fixed yet?

  • Ok an actual question instead of rant.
The PS3 I have now is like my third, when I try to buy a movie or even rent one, it says that I already have another PS3 activated and can’t do it until I deactivate my previous one but I don’t have it anymore. Any suggestions how to fix it?

  • I hope it comes back with an awesome sale, of course then I will be poor.

  • hell yea its been a wile…have some codes n shoppin 2 do!!!!

  • Another week delay, another week with no pay. It seems like they dont even care about money! What the Hell is your purpose in the gaming industry, then, Sony?

  • @midknight24 – You have to call Sony and they will deactivate it for you. I’ve had to do it before.

  • I just got off the phone with sony all i wanted 2 know is how much $ is in my wallet and they can not even tell me that when i asked if my money was gone would i get it back they could not tell me at the end when i started to push for more answers they told me the store might be up later today and all the info would be there that better not have been a trick to get me off the phone i wanna know were my money is and i wanna know now and the people i trust with that can not even tell….

  • @NEO HUMPTY
I won’t lose anything on my new system will I?

  • @ShyguyNC Glad to see other that there is people on here that aren’t a bunch of immature trolls.

@EmryldWolfe I’m not in class nor am I doing paperwork(I do enough of that at my job). So I will not go out of my way to maintain proper grammar or spelling while I’m on an Internet blog site.

@everyone educate yourselves about computer networking on a professional level then pass your judgment on Sony’s performance while restoring the PSN. If you have to complain be civil no one likes trolls flooding the blog with belligerent nonsense. Also if you wish to stop using Sony products there is no need to anounce it on here….hit up eBay or craigslist where you can actually sell you stuff.

Well its back to work for me. Take it easy everyone and lay off the hate.

  • @768………yep

  • oops. i meant 767…absolutely right

  • crap @822 If I’m not mistaken they have already said the money in our wallets is safe on one of the restoration FAQs.
