As part of PlayStation Network’s ‘Welcome Back’ Program, PlayStation Home will be offering an enormous package to all players as a way of saying “thank you” to our community for your ongoing support. Today we will begin rolling out the first phase of this customer appreciation program, which will include 100 free items, two personal spaces, and an exclusive game available for all users to download for 30 days. Here’s what we will be giving you (and when):
100 virtual items: The 100 free virtual items package will be available starting today from the Central Plaza kiosk. This huge package includes popular clothing and furniture items and has been made possible thanks to our 3rd Party partners – including Lockwood Publishing, Heavy Water, Codeglue, Konami, Mass Media, Digital Leisure, LOOT, and Hellfire Games.
Two personal spaces: The Dragon’s Lair and the Mansion Garage – a medieval abode based upon Digital Leisure’s classic game and a luxurious, premium personal space never before released to the PlayStation Home community – will be available to all players today from the Central Plaza kiosk.
Ooblag’s Alien Casino: This is an exclusive game that will be published later this month and will be available via the PlayStation Home Navigator. Enter this interstellar casino and try your hand at Ooblag, a multiplayer game of craps…with a twist. Winners will be rewarded by being transformed into extraterrestrial high rollers while losers will be punished severely by Raaksu, the casino’s ruthless Pit Boss. As an added bonus, players that access the Ooblag Alien Casino space will be rewarded an active item version of the Ooblag game that can be played in their personal spaces.

Uhh… Hello? Guys! Yeah can you please address this annoying bug/ problem… everytime I try to get the Free Items it just gives me an Error on the price bar and “Add to Basket” bar and when I believe that the problem has been fix’d I go to checkout and an “error has occurred”. Please address this and fix it ASAP I really need to get the promised free items before they’re no longer free!

If you guys keep getting [Error] inside of the kiosk, either keep trying or try again later. From what I have heard, this will get better over the coming days once the kiosk has less traffic. Remember; this will be offered for 30-days so you still have time.
The Ooblag’s Alien Casino looks very fun – I thought of “Ratchet & Clank” when I seen the image above, I can’t wait to check out the space!

5 games (I own the one I care about, got another one free from PS+ and never play it. I have zero interest in the other 3.)
3 movies (10-30 years old, seen them multiple times already. yawn.)
100 home items (1st time I’ve logged into Home for about a year to download some items I will likely never use.)
30 free days of PS+ (Only 20 free days for those of us who actually pay for PS+, what could be more idiotic? It should have been 30 days + lost time just like the music subscribers got.)
There is plenty more they could have done. They could easily have offered more than 5 games and 3 movies to choose from, at little cost to themselves. There are several older Sony PSN games I wouldn’t mind having. Sony Pictures has 1000+ movies in their section, why only offer 3 to choose from?
They are giving us some “freebies” out of the bargain bin, for many of us there is little or nothing to get excited about.

ok i just come from home and i can categorically say that the 100 free items are all absolute garbage.
This utter rubbish is not worth the time aimlessly wondering around trying to locate the tiny hidden away kiosk, nor the constant store errors.

Why can’t i get the free items on home, it says error every time i go to it, I don’t want to run out of time
So I got my 2 free games for the PS3. I also saw on the WB package that I can get 2 free PSP games. Is that correct? Can I download 2 of the other game? How does that work?
@63 If you own a psp then yes you can get the games.
I have 2 questions :
1.How can i access the 100 items ?
2.How to get the avatars ( Kratos and inFamous ) Pro and Select ?
So i was wondering…once our ps plus is up will we still be able to play the two free games we were giving with out having to buy the ps plus? j/w I wasn’t sure if once our 30days was up if the games would still be playable with out the ps plus or not.
Problem to get that items, the PS Home dont let me enter, say a lot of error that i never seen in my life, Sony the best recomendetions is to get new servers o buy some news that work extremely perfect because when the E3 comes i wanna see the show in PS Home perfectly and i dont wanna see a bunch of errors or kick me out of PS Home when i get there.
To many personal space items and odd looking clothing, not enough down-to-earth cute clothing.
I can’t get my first game cause the store had an error and the free game one disappeared even though I didn’t download anything!!!!!!
By the way, why didn’t you just offer these items in package form from the PS store? Guess you want to save cash by making people give up trying to get all 100 items.
Wow this is crazy. This almost as bad as when the PSN was down everyone trying to get their free stuff draging down the PS Store. I hope Sony will extend The Welcomeback past the 30 days I have a feeling it will take longer for everyone to get free stuff.

im just glad i finally got all the free content for home in WMP cause most of the day yesterday was non stop error. try it really late last night worked with np. so maybe the servers aren’t as bogged down like yesterday, people just need to keep trying each day cause after all you got a month to get the content.
Question. Once you download the welcomeback package for PS3 game 1 and 2. How and where do u get the game to download ?
i think all users can login their account, but all the services get error.

I’m also having problems with the free downloads. It let me download my second game, but I was never given my first. Hopefully it’s just because there are so many people trying to do this all at once.

Ok… wtf this is some real B.S. because I entered the PS Store and tried to download free game one and when I click on it it freezes and then the error code comes up so I turn off my PS3 and when I turned it back on and go in the store again free game download 1 doesn’t come up (so i didnt get my game) so now im pissed off.. And another thing… I cant even attemp to reedem my PS Home stuff because every time i try to get on PS Home I have to download the update and when I try to do that my PS3 shuts down and restarts. PLEASE HELP/FIX!! I really wanted dead nation AND wipeout
I had a problem with picking the free games that I hope can be addressed. I knew that I wanted Infamous so I had no problems buying the Free ps3 Game 1 then selecting Infamous. However, when I went to pick my second game, bought the Free ps3 Game 2 I didn’t know whether to choose LBP or Dead Nation. So I backed out of that window to download a trailer for Dead Nation to check out the game and now I can no longer choose a second game. If you read this don’t make my mistake and know which games you are going to pick but to the people at playstation, is there anyway this issue can be resolved?
The funny thing: One of the bundled Home items (the Pharaoh sandals) is priced $0.49. So, it’s not free on its own; you’re forced to get the other items or pay.
…because, no sarcasm, I’m sure there’s someone opposed to getting the whole Pharaoh bundle, and rather have only one or some of its items.

Keep getting an error 80431063. I have tried repalcing the 0 for O and that doesn’t work. Tried the code finder and it isn’t even found on here. They say it doesn’t exist. Can’t get onto the playstation store at all!!! Can anybody help????

@88 (xasmoothcrmnalx): Just go to your Account Management, and scroll to the bottom for Services List. In the list is SCEA Promo, where you can select the game you want from the “Free PS3 Game” item.
I cant find the free ps3 games i downloaded an i go back to check to try again an i cant find them an now they disappeared, soo.. if we could get the error problem fixed it would help.

I got all 100 items last night. Thanks! They’re sweet! As for errors, I found it easier to add a few items to the cart, then checkout, then add some more, checkout, and so on. When I got an error, I just kept going back until it took. All I needed was some patience and got tons of goodies!
@94 Go to Account Management -> Transactions-> Services List-> SEO Promotion and get them through there. Going from memory but that’s the gist. Find them there instead of the download list.
