Nice bit of news and with regards to vita i hope the bit about play your way during uncharted’s demo means i have resistance level full customization as a backbone feature because without it i simply couldn’t play the game .
I’d be limited to lbp,lego,modnation and couldn’t play any dual analog games like bioshock or killzone.
Again great show and here’s hoping i can truly play my way because in a post play ,create and share world anything less falls short of playstation level quality.
First… get a better streaming person. I had a better time watching the press conference on another site than on this blog. The last hour i spent more time buffing than watching the conference on PS Blog. Verizon FIOS and still had problems with the blog streaming, but not other game sites.
Second, PS VITA (horrible name BTW) gets XGC before PS3, and you dont even mention anything about PS3 getting it. What a shame…….
Personally there was nothing that “wowed” me in this conference. 3D is not something i will be jumping on. I dont need the be wearing glasses just to play a game, then on top have a mic around my ear along with the glasses. Hello thats just to much stuff to be wearing to play a game. Let me know when you figure out how to do 3D without the glasses.

i guess this was an ok show.lots of move games,a movie feature thingy,a couple of hardcore games and vita. btw, the device is pretty cool and builted in with features but i didnt hear anything about the web browser.also, while the pricing wasnt ridiculous it was still on the expensive side since we are still in a recession economy and all that jazz….
oh the 3d bundle was a good one.but again, i was expecting more like new rpgs for the ps3, a cool firmware update with goodies with an updated browser to boot.so, all in all i’m gonna wait to see how the new device performs before making any commitment…

I think the DJ is Mix Master Mike from the Beastie Boys. …he’s a legend in the DJ biz. The value for Vita is great; too bad there’s no HDMI port but generally it does everything else. The Sony 3Dtv is also a fantastic deal. No Ken Butler & no Valve appearance; still Vita made up for it!!

I didn’t like anything. Don’t care for move. don’t care for a handheld that cost as much as my ps3. don’t care about 3d. and i’m tired of hell of fps. would have like some ps3 enhancements in software instead of the updates being constant security fixes. all in all sony still beat out xbox but that’s not saying much all xbox did was try to push tht wack kinnect stuff in everything.

Overall, Sony blew it… big time. They could have done big after the security breach and outage. Instead they whimpered in to the LA Sports Arena then left with their tails between their legs. I guess its Nintendo’s show this year since M$ slept in this year

Darcade I have played those games that say they are rpgs, But most just suck and you have to wait years for more to come out and hope THEY don’t. I have had a PS3 from the begining and still own ZERO RPGs. The only ones I have on there are PS1 games. That I played over again because Sony can’t or won’t release ANY.

PSV…(thats what im calling it >:p) is AMAZING!..from the features to the price( im definitly getting the 3g/wifi $300)..its a 3DS /iTOUCH KILLER…but thats just MY OPINION. I was really impressed with the cross gaming features..from playing on the PSV and saving ..then continuing on the PS3..to playing on the PS3 with other on the PSV!..I hope they take full advantage of this feature and KICK ASS WITH IT! or IMPLEMENT IT ON JUST ABOUT EVERY NEW GAME!!..I was VERY UNIMPRESSED with MODNATION RACERS..nothing new but customizing tracks with YOU FINGERS..>:/ …i was hoping to see TAG TEAM, BATTLE and ELIMINATION MODES!!! but whatever..as soon as i saw COLE on SFxT ..i forgot all about MNR…lol OH and …STARHAWK!! 2012!! Albeit that there were more shooters that any other catagory out there in the conference today, but unfortunately that is the hottest selling genre right now and they are catering to those fans. I personally would have loved to see some RPG love, but I knew it wasn’t meant to be. I have been gameing for the last 30 years and I was not disappointed by the presentation. One has to face the facts that gaming is an ever evolving medium that will continue to change given the current trend. The PSVita is priced perfectly and I knew they would go with that pricing structure. Also, for those crying for XGC please. If you are that desperate to talk to your friends, you should pick up your phones and call or visit them. The can take as long as they want to get that feature perfected for all I care, I find it unnecessary but I guess it is a novel feature.
