Assassin’s Creed Revelations at E3 2011

Hello PlayStation Assassins!

With the Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3, for those in the know) wrapping up this week, we thought it might be nice to give you a quick round-up of the video content we’ve released for Assassin’s Creed Revelations. During the show, we’ve revealed a great many secrets surrounding ACR, detailing a wide variety of new gameplay features as well as delving deeper into the storyline of this essential piece of Ezio’s final adventure. We even had several multiplayer “pods” set up, both at our Ubisoft booth as well as at the Sony PlayStation booth, to enmesh show attendees in our innovative multiplayer (and show off a handful of the planned improvements we’re working on). So, without further ado, take a look below to see what Assassin’s Creed Revelations has in store!

This gorgeous trailer outlines the basic premise of Assassin’s Creed Revelations. During the trailer, we see Ezio travelling a great distance in order to reach Masyaf in the hopes of uncovering the secrets of Altair. When Ezio arrives, he is confronted by Templars… and the rest is in the video!

This video is the identical single-player walkthough that E3 attendees were able to see at the show! Demonstrating many new features in Assassin’s Creed Revelations, including upgraded Eagle Vision, Ezio’s new hook blade and the Greek Fire cannon, this walkthrough is intended to give you a tiny taste of the excitement and game mechanics you can expect from the game!

Following the traumatic events of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Desmond has a lot to figure out… so much, in fact, that he must take a journey deep into his subconscious. We’d like to say more, but it wouldn’t be much of a Teaser if we gave up all the secrets.

See you all again soon Assassins!

@mgsnull617: The series REALLY takes off and gets exciting in Assassin’s Creed II.

+ SOMITOJAGGA on June 10th, 2011 at 9:39 am said:

Epic! played all the ACs and they were awesome. AC1 showed the first story and altair. AC2 was more enjoyable and brought Ezio. ACBH was interesting cuz of the new multiplayer. ACR will be super beast cuz we see more Aassasin secrets and we see how Ezio died. he must’v died in a cool way. blowing himself up or something

+ NiteVersions on June 10th, 2011 at 9:59 am said:

Although I loved Brotherhood (could do without the multiplayer, or at least omit the grinding trophies) I felt it was unnecessary to the plot.

I want ACIII already, give me something NEW!

+ WillPG1212 on June 10th, 2011 at 10:27 am said:

Man everytime i see those AC trailers, i wish the game had CG cutscenes :(

still looks awesome tho ;)

+ BEASTXJASON on June 10th, 2011 at 10:30 am said:

beyond sick of ezio. pass. I go back to the first game and marvel at how awesome it was. It seems after 2 it all went to hell. Fan service killed it for me.You need to up the difficulty if your going to recycle the same char over and over. gets so boring.

+ mgsnull617
The first one is excellent and 2 is good but after that it gets [DELETED] imo. You can 100% brotherhood so quickly and it feels tacked on. Sadly it feels like they are milking it to me. You should def play the 1st one though. Thats just my opinion. Running around zapping people with some space age, godly apple was just [DELETED] in brotherhood.

+ TallCrowe on June 10th, 2011 at 10:36 am said:

I’m looking forward to it. The last one was lots of fun and I enjoyed ACII. I look forward to improved deeper gameplay.

+ Lance_Akiro on June 10th, 2011 at 10:46 am said:

Eizo vs Old snake the fact these two have been all the way. I guess its Ezio’s turn to feel the old time kicking in.

I heard the anonymous hackers got arrested. is it true? did Kevin Butler miss out on e3 to find these hackers? Did The socom team finally found them? please give an update on what happened.
