So the sceners are working on making it possible to QA flag any PS3, and you guys make us grab a stupid update to put our PS3s out of affectable firmware range? Just let them hack the damn thing.

last update was supposed to be optional, but I got complaints that it wasn’t. Hopefully this one is as advertised.
Anyway I’ve been having issues with netflix hopefully this fixes it. Don’t suppose we’ll see any feature updates before PS4 releases.
Just got a new playstation 3 and i want to log onto my old account so i can download the map packs for black ops that i got already bought, When i try to log onto my old account it tells me that i cant log on under another users id. im off the same wifi as the other ps3 and all but i cant log in and im not buying the map packs again due to the fact i did already. what do i do?
My ps3 stops cod black ops first strike at 89% everytime i attempt to download it, and infamous gets to 27%, Will this update fix that problem if not what should i do?
These updates are such a joke compared to what Xbox 360 keeps getting.
There needs to be an option to disable trophy notifications, as they can be very annoying/distracting in some situations.

HITMAN, you need to create a new “user account” on your PS3 and then under that account, login to your PSN with the content you want to download. You can’t use two different PSN names on the same user account. On XMB, scroll all the way left and then right below the turn off is how to make a new user account.
Another day, another useless update. You could at least say what exactly these “improvements” are or at least which games and services they affect. You could also actually use the incremental update system you made so people don’t have to download 180MB of data every other time they try to get on PSN.
Any news one when some new features will be coming? theres a bunch of them in the PS Blog Share that been been there for a while now. If Sony isnt going to add any of them to the PS3 why have a PS Blog share?
It’s been a while since we’ll seen new features added to PSN. Wonder if there are any plans to add more.

I have to say that I hate the vague “improved stability” patches. It would be nice if, at least in cases where it would not compromise security, there was a place we could go to find out more, even if the details are more technical than most would care about.

#6, you’re correct. I rarely if ever have to download a dashboard update from Microsoft for security reasons or just “stability” concerns. I’m used to Microsoft being the company with security flaws but it appears that Sony has taken over. It’s quite frustrating because none of my friends will play games such as Killzone 3 and Socom 4 because they insist that PSN is worthless without Cross Game Chat. I do agree with this though so we all stick to XBOX. Whether it’s a limitation of the PlayStation 3 or something else, we need to hear something [OFFICIAL] about it.

The wireless headset requires firmware update 3.70 and later. I don’t mind these minor updates, so long as there’s more planned for that update. While both are welcome, I hope for more than just accessory compatibility, and possibly CinemaNow.
what i really want for and update,
1.) appear offline
2.) better home screen or dashboard, it looks and gets boring.

Remember way back in the old days when firmware updates weren’t jokes? Wish I could relive those nostalgic moments instead of putting up with yet another update with no visible additions & improvements.
I just hope the bizarre order of the friends list is sorted out. I really do have to wonder why on earth Sony thought it would be a good idea to order alphabetically, by upper case first, then lower case second. I don’t think I’ve ever come across anything quite like it before!
Either way, I love having a freshly updated PS3, no matter how many new features can be found in it. Just everything somehow feels different, quicker and prettier… Or maybe that’s just me. :L
Hopefully this fixes the issue with my netgear wireless N adapter. Last update screwed with it.

I like to see us ALL get a Kick A$$ Party System.
This Party System Can Add People From your Friend List or Have Open Party Invite to Add People In a Window were all Can Chat Cross Game or Invite Each in a Game to Play Online togeather.
And In this Party System you have the Option to Call a Friend 1 on 1 and Chat Privately While Playing Other Games or be Playing the Same Game.

When Everyone is Ready they Will Have the Option to Launch the Game Once the Game is Loaded or Even While the Game is Loading They can Chat Via Text or Voice Even While Waiting for Games to Load up to Play.
Once in the Game the Game will use the Party System to Use as a main Source of Playing Online Gaming.
