  • Any idea how much Brotherhood will cost in the store?

  • wow very good deals. ..

  • i hate Full Game Trial, this is ridiculous.
but i’ll buy it! thanks to Ubisoft!

  • Really thought the anniversary/birthday of Plus would have been a little more exciting. ho-hum.

..guess I will put my balloons and cake away. :(

  • Golden axe is good game very hard to beat that lol..

  • Cool,

    Grace or Ro..

Please can we have the Street fighter costumes pack on sale in single DLC instead of the bundles. Like the UK store had..
I can’t ever take advantage of the Bundle DLC due to the fact that I have already purchased a few that are in the bundle.

    Thanks!

  • Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, 59.99$

  • It seems not so many interesting games in the coming weeks. Save the money for Big September and October!

  • Streets of Rage 2 is awesome, i have not enjoyed a PS+ game so much since Age of Zombies

  • I Still cant get bomberman ultra or Medevil from playstation plus theres no activation thing for bomberman an theres no medevil game whats going on an i am a playstation plus sub
any information on this will be good to know
also legend of dragoon that needs to be a Downloadable game in the future

    • These should definitely be active in the store. If you’re a Plus subscriber, head to the Plus section of the store and they should be set for you to download.

  • What happened to Crash Commando coming to plus for free? Hackers not only took my identity, but they also took free Crash commando for Plus away. Will we ever see this game on plus?

  • TheUndertaker85

@1 – I’d bank on either $29.99 or $39.99. Amazon, Gamestop, and Best buy are selling the title at $29.99. Walmart is selling it for $39.99. However seeing as there’s more stores offering $29.99, that’d be the smarter choice for a price point.

I’m really glad to see more full retail titles being added to PSN. In the future though could be get more on or near launch dates? I for one would love to buy more digital but it usually seems to take a decent amount of time longer to see titles on PSN. inFamous 2 was a great example of how the system should run as we saw it release on PSN shortly after the retail launch.

On that note too if that route is taken more often, could be see some day one/first week purchase incentives? Like if you purchase Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood on the PSN launch day include in some ACB avatars or a theme as well? This would sweeten the deal for digital buyers over retail purchases.

  • Crash Commando please. Nothing else is interesting. If this is the one year party, I’m glad I have different parents.

  • Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t mini’s preclude Guerrilla War from adhoc on PSP? This game was meant for 2 players? Will PS3 at least be able to do 2 players? I really enjoyed that game and I’d love to take another crack at it.

  • TheUndertaker85

Gah. On an off note, could you pass the word on that some PSN avatars don’t appear to be working on Sony sites/PSN login? I can see my Killzone 3 avatar when signed into PSN on my PS3, but when signing into PSN via the blog or on the comp side of things my avatar doesn’t appear.

  • I don’t know why you folks at Sony or wherever feel like you have to release all these old Sega games individually for like $6 a pop.

I, for one, just bought a new copy of Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection for $15 shipped. That as your Golden Axe, Sonic 1, 2, 3, +Knuckles, the first four Phantasy Star games and dozens of other games. I’m very happy with that purchase.

I wouldn’t raise any issue at all over you releasing these games individually if you had previously demonstrated that you can price these old games fairly. $6 each is a far cry from fair pricing for these classics, and asking that much is very Nintendo of you.

  • “Oh my God, I’ve got this game. Dammit!” I think this is a common thought for all people who see a game offered in plus they already have. Once or twice I’ve been through this situation. But you will start releasing all the games from Sega Genesis Collection? If I knew it would not have bought the game. It launched the Sonic, and Street of Rage will now throw the Golden Axe. All three are present in the collection. And they are all simpletons games that run on the PS3.This is the first time I feel aggrieved to have a plus account. I expected better games enough not to be released on compilations.

  • So after July 12th Streets of Rage 2 is no longer Free or it will no longer be available for purchase?

  • oh god yes

  • It’s interesting to see a lot of early SNK arcade games (from before the era of Neo-Geo) being revived as Minis.

  • As a U.S. PlayStation Plus subscriber since day one, I’m disappointed with the poor value we’ve gotten over the past few months, in comparison with PlayStation Plus Europe and other services. For instance, PlayStation Plus Europe recently got Burnout Paradise and a whole suite of amazing dynamic themes designed by famed designers and artists (that have yet not been available to US PlayStation Plus subscribers for some strange/lazy reason), whereas we get extremely old Sega Genesis games which, let’s be honest, aren’t exactly new and original, and which most people would not spend much time poring over. PlayStation Plus Japan has also gotten games like Siren, etc., and I am quite sure the content managers at other PlayStation Plus regions care more about actual good games which most gamers would consider of value rather than decades old games that feel like a slap in the face for all the people who’ve supported the service since its very early beginnings.

  • When are we getting exclusive avatars? And I don’t mean an exclusive bundle of 10 avatars you can individually buy in the store. I mean avatars that you can’t get anywhere else.

  • Rorek_IronBlood

So, can Sony confirm or deny this latest rumor of some sort of “PlayStation Network Pass”? I’m hearing a bit about this around the net and from word of mouth. Yet I have seen nothing from it by Sony. Anyone else out there hear of this?

  • Vinland_Krauser

I wonder when Sonic 3 & Knuckles will appear.
Also, there is Phantasy Star IV and Landstalker. I’d pay ten bucks on each, just like the PSone Final Fantasy titles have a bigger price.
And for the people who are complaining about the PSN pass, Mortal Kombat had this and it worked to great effect! You are already paying cheaper for a secondhand copy, why not buy an online pass? It certainly won’t be much more expensive than the usual DLC.

  • Is that Borderland’s Bundle the full game+the DLC? If so…YES!

    • Yep, this will be the full game, and all the DLC will be included in this bundle. Can’t beat that $14.99 price for all that content!

  • Im 3 days past my PS Plus welcome back free trial and the ps plus sign is still by my name also i can still download ps plus exclusive stuff clock theme full game trials i just started borderlands fgt and it works is this a perk i didnt know about or is something messed up

  • @LilWayneSuckz: it says that it is in the first paragraph last 2 sentences “This bundle includes the full game, and all 4 pieces of add-on DLC. Purchased individually these items would add up to more than $65!”.

That deals sells me on Borderlands too.

  • @20 im with you infamous 2 full price wth as you mentioned no bluray disc also no instuction manual in case exclusives cover art my number 1 prob with it tho is NO TRADE IN VALUE!!!! ugh makes me sick its gotta be way cheaper to straight to digital but suckers by this stuff up not thinking about how they are paving the way for outstanding prices in the future

  • Pretty awful, Sony.

  • END THE PSN PASS!!!

I will no doubt buy your 1st party games new this year but the idea of a 1st party publisher using an online pass is IMO ridiculous and I’ve stood by Sony’s decisions for quite some time now but this is foolish especially after the PSN fiasco that happened 3 months ago that tarnished Sony’s reputation the gaming space. People already have an iffy opinion of whether or not to play on PSN and from my gameplay experiences, 1st party PS3 games (Uncharted notwithstanding) have a very small online community. You are halving your online userbase by instituting these in your games, especially Resistance 3 and Twisted Metal, two games that are getting a lot of attention for their multiplayer. I want to be able to play with hundreds of thousands of people in Resistance 3 and Twisted Metal not ten thousand…these games have online campaign co-op, and regardless of whether they bought the games used I want to be able to play with them as well.

You advertise with the words “free online gaming,” how is charging $9.99 (assuming) for a PSN Pass free??? You might as well remove that statement from each newly printed PS3 box because its officially not true anymore.

  • @Cyb3rfr34k-iso

why hate? its the only way we get retail versions of games since ps store delays decades to release a single title for us to buy

    @ESE-VAMPS

the solution is easy.. if u can upgrade your HD do it and yr space problem for yr games are solved

AC Brotherhood is a great title, for most people a must buy, glad to see it for buy it on ps store.. but i think it will be best if we can buy more of these good retail games.. there’s a lot of cool exclusive games that has been released like Heavenly Sword or Folklore.. would be great seein those to buy there.. try launching CoD Black Ops for sale on Ps Store.. probably would be the best selling for a month or two…

  • @twilightgun

Yeah I read that, and I’m definitely buying it. That is how full retail games should be priced on PSN

  • I love ps plus and all the perks for it, but full game trials are not a big deal at all. People who want that game usually know it already. Love the free games, stuff and discounts, but keep it up withe the betas when available, and go thru the catalog of games and start picking more discounts!

Think about the oldies but the goodies like the last guy, pixel junk eden, fat princess, scott pilgrim, joe danger and so on! I know some aren’t too old but I know more people whould hop on/stay on ps plus for MORE DISCOUNTS for great games like that I’ve seen a lot of good ones so far.

So just give everyone full game trials, we don’t care too much about them at ps plus I think. Keep up the sweet deals and perks!

And can anyone tell me why my sweet tifa avatar doesn’t pop up anymore here on my posts or on playstation.com???

  • @Vinland_Krauser

These damn passes are the reason all complaint for gaming on a FREE NETWORK, it keeps going harder and harder for us just to keep our games updated,, Mortal Kombat soon after the psn crash WAS UNPLAYABLE WITHOUT the store just because of that pass… the solution? bypass it until ps store back up… and I see on a not distat future of another character releases, just 5 characters we buy the add-on of MK we’ll be REPAYING the WHOLE game we bought

  • Lame update…

  • What’s up with all these awesome sales? I will definitely be purchasing Borderlands and was very happy with my purchase of Burnout Paradise for $8 yesterday. Im loving all of these sales! Keep them coming please.

  • @LilWayneSuckz:

Agreed, especially including all the DLC with the discount.

  • Yeah, a whole lot of old stuff. How hard is it to get a R3 demo for plus? I ain’t wasting money on battle LA.
I understand u can’t please every one all the time, but the last time it felt good was when we got the MK demo early.

  • still waiting to hear on that crash commando game that was suppose to come out for free for plastation plus awhile back

  • @ kyosukerok
PS+ subscriber should be able to get 20% discount on full game retail AT LEAST! not that [DELETED] 60 min trial.
cause normal user can buy ALL full retail game at the exact same price as PS+ that’s not fair.
i paid 50$ a years for discount. not for random sony marketing plan.
btw all Add-ons is NOT OURS TO KEEP for EVER!
SONY LIED SOO MUCH! i’ll NEVER resubscribe after my 155 days left.
i’am a PS+ user since day one like many peps here.
ad i’m NOT satisfied, i dont recommend that service to anyone.
I DINT brought a PS3 to play 800$ of MINIS and PS1 games.
we NEED TO CHOSE the GAME WE WANT!
SAME AS YOUR WELCOME BACK program!
every 2 week its the same thing… offering me all the games i already brought at discount, month before.

  • Borderlands deal is pretty damn good deal.

The rest is absolute bollocks. As a temporary Plus subscriber, I am not in the least tempted to get a full year.

  • Borderlands ^_^

  • @Cyb3rfr34k-iso

I agree too with the discount idea, but my point was for we get more interesting games to buy or u want to see only those arcade and some of them non interesting to buy? it sure would be great offer more discounts on really interesting games or retail games to buy there, but it gets to nothing if all games that are on sell are lame…

  • Still waiting for Shooter 1 and Shooter 2 to get discounted!

  • @kyosukerok
there is many worth to buy games on the PSN.
sony staff just dont care, cuz they already got all theses games for free, since they work for SONY

  • Digital-Big-Boss

WOW, PS+ gets you HUGE DISCOUNTs on minis instead of real games.

    • I dunno, minis tend to be free content as part of your subscription, and I have to say, the $14.99 price for Borderlands Full Discount is pretty strong! =)

  • like they lauging at us:

    Huge Discounts

Speaking of SNK, PlayStation Plus is offering the following SNK minis titles each at 20% off their regular store price starting July 19th:

WAIT! Huge discount?? 20%??? isnt the MINIMUM discount PS+ as to be at the begining???!

  • gimme me 70% discount
and i’ll maybe call it a “Huge Discount”
    not FAKE discount

im really frustrated i bought borderland not 6 month ago at 60$ and now you give it at 15$ LOLOLOL
THANKS FOR THE SCHEDULE you THEFT!

  • Here is what someone had to say about Guerrilla War:

“It feels as though it was designed by gamers for gamers. It also has one of the most creative background histories in the history of the NES. I will always love this game.”

Thanks for another cool game. PS+ pays off every month with one good mini game. Me Monstar (released this month) is FANTASTIC.

  • @50 you bought borderlands for $60 6 months ago? I bought it for $40 when it came out on PS3.
