  • Borderlands bundle bought SO hard it HURTS. Definitely renewing my PS+ sub when the time comes. Nice job, Sony. Why is the store update blog post rated so low? Borderlands bundle alone is worth 5 blocks out of 5.

  • yeah,,,,PS1 imports…just what the fans wanted…-_-

  • @ 198 u get everything all the dl content for ps plus is 15$, for regular(non psn plus) its 19$ you get every thing all the dlc

  • I still need to get the last two DLC for Borderlands, so I’ll probably pick those up since they’re on sale.

  • Great Update!
I’m so happy to get Bioshock 2 and Mafia 2 DLCs on sales, already bought it
Any chance to get Bioshock DLC on sale?

  • @204 I have PS+ Borderlands Bundle is a great deal

  • i dont think i’ll be re-up’n my ps+ in sept.. i feel like i payed $50 for an abundance of useless PS Mini games..

i did get alot of great stuff but it seems like you guys dont really know what to give us sometimes and you just put those stupid mini games in there to fill the empty spaces..

push for things like dlc more often and i’ll re-consider it but im done in sept

  • @203. Some of those japanese import are very good man. You know some would nvr come to the usa. most of them and are better than most of these games that sony push out here. I own a few.. for psp. Im on 3rd or 4 psp memeory card lol..

Some are worth it.. trust me

  • Bought Borderlands for $15 (still have my temporary Ps Plus discount) and I’m getting Minerva’s Den which Ive heard is great.

I know I’ll love Limbo, but I’ll wait for it to eventually go on sale for $5-7. Heard its really short.

  • uhhh this is kind of awkward since Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 DLC was supposed to release today….according to the nice people at Koei andddd its not here. and they’ve kept claiming it was on the US PSN today the 19th. and i dont see it?

  • @210 Borderlands Bundle deal is great Im thinking of getting it too, I will wait on Limbo even at 11.99 im not sure cause it is a year old game and it is short same problem i have

  • @211 I agree.. waiting for some sort of reply or something saying when it’ll show

  • @211 I dont know what to say about that .. I know sometime it might come out and be up later in the night , but dontstay up waiting for it just ask them on there page to get sony about it.. Thats the best choice for any gamer right now..

I know Dw7 is already inthe store so dw gundam. but i dont know about the dlc. Sometime the store dont print here and it comes later in the night. But I dont know for sure, your best bet is to tell them on there web page(koei) to get sony psn folks about it..

    It is messed though..I agree

  • Hey Sony any news on a U3 demo on the store?

  • i know you get both the game and dlc but i wanna know is .. can the dlc be downloaded seperately from the whole games because i think its faster downlading the dlc first one by one then get the game last

  • I had the borderlands game when i had a 360. I beat multiple times. I bought the bundle because it was a steal. If anyone wants to play add me

  • Okay. Content “volume” wise. Not such a bad week (I suppose.) The best part of this weeks store update for everyone whom may or may not be a member of the coupon book (PlayStation Plus) is the “Borderlands GoTY” bundle at a reasonable twenty ($20.00 USD) dollars without the benefit of the coupon book, and fifteen ($15.00 USD) dollars for all whom are. After that though the good news ends abruptly (pretty much.) The other exception being PlayStation Portable content The (digital release) of Final Fantasy: Tactics for a solid and reasonable ten ($10.00 USD) dollars.
However, the rest just seems marketed towards compulsive buyers and ill informed consumers. Such as the first day DLC of the brand new game “Dead Block”?! Really? First day DLC “Map Pack” and you have the gull to charge consumers for it? Ballsy indeed. Then of course the over pricing of “Limbo” a game while “refreshing” just is not worth the steepe fifteen ($15.00 USD) dollar tag for this “indy” crazed short ride. After that all that though. The rest is just pot holes and sewage sludge. No, real volume of content to speak of (honestly.) Just another weak, week of updates.

  • Dear Sony

Where is my Parasite Eve 2?

    With Love, JJ.

PS: When will you add Persona 3/4 Avatars? I want to sport a Minato (Persona 3 MC) avatar on my PSN ID and show ATLUS some love.

  • @Samanosuke_JJ:

Parasite Eve2 says hello, from Europe. (lol) Sony released it I’m told a while back on the European store, but had neglected to release to them Parasite Eve. Feels a bit like the haggle from most corporations (such as GameStop, or Books-A-Million) right?

As for Persona Avatars? I would love to see Sony get some from Atlus. I hear of talk that Atlus went into a lot of effort to make Catherine avatars achievable (winnable goodies) in-game. Sixteen or so, I am told? This would make a lot of fans happy nonetheless. Persona avatars would be beast.

  • @218 I agree with Limbo being overpriced it was 1200 points on Xbox so it was no surprise it was 15 on psn but. I am gonna wait till it gets cheaper

  • @218 my big problem is not really the map pack it is the fact there is no online co op that is a total joke nice going Candygun games morons

  • I am still waiting for back to the future game as the last episode since it usually release one episode of BTTF on each month. I been waiting to get the last episode so i can play it.

  • @198 and @199 Yes they actually are separate downloads. The game itself will download in 30 minutes tops, all together it’ll take about three hours, and for those wondering about expiration dates, there are none for the bundle.

  • @gearhead32:

My point about the first day DLC was that it proves how, greedy developers and publishers are. Instead of just adding it to the game already as part of the “complete” game they choose to shove it at us (the consumer) at a price of their choosing because, they know that most (the majority) will buy into it. “Enabling” their behavior and only furthering their ressolve to continue down this path.
As for the lack of coperative (co-op) gameplay? That is just a sad statement to hear. I don’t see a reason why it should not be part of the game, but then again when they are charging the consumer for first day DLC you can understand partially as to (maybe) why it is “not” part of the game. Which is sad because, in most cases “zombie” themed games sell themselves.

  • I tried several times last week to grab beyond good and evil as well as the BTTF discount, but due to some credit card error I wasn’t able to complete the transaction. I figured out last night I should re enter my information, but I need to wait up to two days for it to reactivate? Looks like I’m not buying BTTF at all then. I’m still not sure if it will work, but it does for apple and amazon. I’ll still grab beyond goos and evil, though.

  • @225 I understand what you are saying day 1 map pack is a joke as well but no online co op is gonna really hurt them in selling the game I won’t even think of buying it unless they add it,

  • can import japan PS1 games: Detana!! Twinbee Yahoo! Deluxe Pack ?

  • I have a lot of friends in different states on PSN and it is just common sense too have Online Co Op on a game like Deadblock very bad idea for Candygun games

  • Thanx so mach! Thanks for another super update :D

  • @60

Looks good, how is the taste?

  • where is episode 5 for BTTF? or am i just missing it?

  • So nothing on Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 DLC? Even if it’s saying it’ll come out tomorrow in US like it’s supposed to for EU, even if it’s a blunder you dont want to admit to, something should be said, because KOEI’s release date says the 19th in US for PS3 AND XBOX, this is just stupid and i’ll be buying games on both consoles for xbox again, free online or not, it’s not worth it if I have to deal with next day or missing dlc launches

  • Thanks for the update Motorstorm devs, keeping the game hot and fresh. Freaking amazing every time I pop this game in for some 3d racing madness! Love it!

  • Borderlands bundle FTW. Game is so cash. That is seriously the best deal since the PixelJunk bundle of last year. I already had Borderlands and two of the DLC items and it was STILL a better deal than just buying the last two. (Because now I don’t have to put in my disc anymore, psshhh.)

Old World Blues? Hope it’s good, got it, loving New Vegas despite the terrible stability issues. You know you’ve got an awesome game when people will keep playing it despite freezing at least once a game.

Limbo … looks interesting, but not at that price. Sorry.

LOL @ Mortal Kombat. “Hey, let’s sell CHARACTERS! For $4.99 each! BRILLIANT!” Mortal Kombat can rot in the Pit for all I care. And Kratos is lame.

  • Thanks for not putting anymore MLB avatars! Much appreciated!

  • Holy moly! That is one sizeable update there Sony (that’s what she said ;) ) The Borderlands complete pack at $15 is a freaking steal and if I hadn’t already owned it all thanks to insane sales at steam, I would of purchased it. NTM my PS3’s HDD is packed as it is.

  • Yikes. I’d like to get Borderlands but I just dropped $60 on Infamous 2 Hero Edition from Gamestop!

  • Oh man I just bought Borderlands without any DLCs last few weeks… what luck, might as well buy the map packs since they are 50% off.

And I got a question, when is the rest of the Dissidia 012 Avatars coming out?

  • Borderlands sold!

  • For those that don’t know about “BORDERLANDS” that is a fantastic first person shooter adventure game with a slight RPG twist and it has to be one of the “LONGEST” games i’ve played in long time. Replay value is x-tra high with the other characters you can use. Each one has there own abilties that make a new playthrough almost totaly different. “DON’T let the cell shade thing fool you this is a great looking game done right. A BIG PLUS IS ONLINE CO-OP with friends. Although whoever host a game needs a very strong network because when there is alot going down there can be some pretty bad lag till the action dwindles off. I still play this game and I’ve had it for I think a year now. You won’t be dissapointed…..10 out of 10.. IMO

  • While $14.99/$19.99 for Borderlands and all it’s DLC is pretty awesome, it doesn’t make sense to not have a just Add-on pack of the 4 DLC’s together too for $5.99/$9.99 for people like me who have the game and have beaten it but never got any of the DLC. I don’t wanna have to re-buy the whole games digitally just to get the map packs :\

  • LIMBO!!! what a awsome game!!

  • PlayStation Plus price $11.99; a 20% discount…reason why i got LIMBO man i love Playstation Plus!!..And i was thinking all this time it i had to pay 14.99 well not for playstation plus users oh ya…

  • when i pay off my visa lol going to grab Dead Block..the demo was awsome!!!

  • @ 243

I noticed that too. Doesn’t make much since.

  • I went to go buy the Bioshock 2 DLC bundle but it didn’t show in the store! I had previously downloaded the exclusive characters as a pre-order bonus so does that mean that I really can’t buy the other DLC together in the bundle? It would save $4 if I could. :/ A response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • @244,245,246: LIES! You are the only one saying that… you must be a sony executive desperately trying to influence ill informed consumers on buying that crappy games.

  • Borderlands $14.99 = Steal!!

Limbo $14.99 (same price it had a year ago at XBL, 2 hours long game) = Overpiced (just like braid it is worth like $3)

Dead Block $ 12.99 (with first day DLC, no online coop) = Overpriced crap

  • This is ridiculous for all the people that bought the crap original port of angry birds, I nor anyone who did purchase it should have to pay an extra $4 for a working version that should have been there in the first place!

  • Very Disapointed!!! I bought Dead Blocks, then found out there is day one dlc. I would have never supported this game. I want a complete game. I understand when there us different add-on content from retailer, to help us decide where to buy a game. But day one map packs are UNETHICAL.

The other fact is no one is getting a answer about Angry Birds. It’s a blog so you don’t just post and clock out for the day. What do you get paid for? It is always the same, no one has the answer. Ain’t it your job to say hey, I will make a call and find out. Customer Service is lacking, does your boss ever read the comments or do u have to send updates to any one? Is it sony’s policy to skip over valid questions?

The layout of the store is a tangled mess. Things like day one DLC is hidden in sub folders.
