No, keep your clothes on, thank you very much. We meant that there is a lot going on in the world of ModNation Racers this time of year. Have a seat, grab a cool beverage and relax because YOU have a lot to do this week!

New DLC

Junkyard Part Pack is available in the PlayStation Store on July 26th for $4.99.
This pack includes: Doberman, Crushed Car Cube, Car Pile, Tire Pile, Office Shack, Conveyor Belt Ramp, Car Crusher, Car Compactor, Giant Magnet, Incinerator, Oil Drum and Oxy Acetylene Tanks.

Oil Stain Mod & Kart will be available in the PlayStation Store on August 2nd.
Mod is $.99 and includes: Undershirt, Ragged Overalls, Hillbilly Beard, Straw Hat. Kart is $.99 and includes: Mark I Body and Mattress Seat. Both for $1.75

Special Limited-Edition DLC: Stowaway Mod & Kart
His wetsuit leads us to believe he snuck out of the chilly UFG offices in Canada and made the long, cold, watery voyage down to San Diego. This must be the case as NO self-respecting SoCal resident would be caught dead in a full wetsuit in the middle of the summer, especially one that matches their pigmentation!

Wu Xing Water Shrine by ArgorokX – One of the best tracks I have played in quite a while. So much thought OBVIOUSLY went into the design of this track and it shows. Driving over the river (and through the falls)? Did you just have me jump into someone’s landscaped backyard swimming pool? Are you kidding me? WOW! ArgorokX you made my day(s)!

    Oh goodie: A Modnation equivalent of LBP’s exclusive crowns. well, I look forward to possibly getting my hands on the Stowaway mod/kart: Both look very awesome!

    Either release a a dlc pack with all released dlcs or the game with all the dlcs and i will happily buy this game again :)

    I am really impressed with UFG because this game is what, 16 months post launch, and insted of making googles of money on a new release they continue to update weekly and provide fresh content. At the one year mark I traded my copy of MNR in thinking it was over. Stupid me!!!! Going to re-buy it today. It is rare that a studio continues support for this long. Well done.

    Yes, I know there is a vita edition coming up but that’s a different species all together.

      We understand a few in Europe are having issues redeeming Stowaway. We are working hard to get them resolved ASAP.

    Has the release date for the Arctic DLC been announced yet? I’m hoping to make my first foray into track creation be a remake of some old Crash Team Racing levels :).

    Is good to see that my suggest was taken for the team, now the DLC has a mod and kart according to it :D, that’s cool. Looking forward to that!

    Is there going to be add-os like from Disney or other video game like FF7 or Bioshock?

    Whoo hooo!!! I’ve been hoping for the Oil Stain kart since the demo! Stoked to see it. “Finally the ‘Stain’ has come back to MNR”!!!!! Something I’m sure the “people’s kart” would say. :)

    Stowaway has to be the most desired mod and kart for certain at this point… such mystery about how to get it, where to get it, when to get it, and IF one can really get it! Xanax bottles are popping all over the MNR community to calm the anxiety of possibly not being able to get it. ( I sure hope I do, that’s for sure.)

    I’ve been very impressed with the balance of DLC. Keeping the track peeps happy, AND the mod and kart peeps as well. Awesome!

    Thank you for posting nice articles every weeks.
    I am a person who expressed sadness that new DLCs aren’t in store in Japan last week.
    Thank you too for replying there.
    Most of Japanese fans, especially track creators, are much disappointed but still looking forward to buying those DLCs.

    I just want to let you know that there are still many MNR fans in Japan and they have been afraid of being abandoned by Japanese company recently.

    I expect we have chance to get Stowaway Mod & Kart as well.
    They are looking very nice.

    Its great that your giving away a kart for good creators and thanking them for making these awesome creations. But will you think about giving away a kart and mod for people that can’t create or just like to race. I know this sounds to much but if you guys can do it would be nice.

    there will be any bundle for modnation? like complete game and some DLC? because i want to get this game from ps store so i want to know, or there wil be any DLC bundle?, i will get it anyway but i just wanted to know if a bundle its on its way.

    Great blog… looking forward to the new Oil Stain Mod & Kart. What are the chances we’ll be getting more boat style karts (sub/ swan) ?

    An old beat up Boat/ Pirate Ship kart and a Pirate mod with a hook for a hand would be cool…
