You are getting in the beta, so you are getting what you paid for. If you wanted earlier access, you should have paid what all of us had to as well. You should have bought socom 4 when you had the chance. I have been a PS Plus subscriber ever since it launched and my subscription doesn’t end until march of 2013. I renewed my one year because PS Plus is worth it and consistently gets better as it goes along. I have a 320gb hard drive and so I have every single free game that they have offered since the launch of PS Plus, well over 30 games that I would have bought otherwise and 30 or 40 so that I maybe would have.

How come ps+ users get the beta august 23???just bought 1 year membership for ps+ and I already think it was a bad investment im not renew not fair i paid money should have access at the same time

I’ve found two games to play in so far. But I keep getting a network error after about 4 or 5 minutes of game play. Other than that I’m like you, just searching for games. Give it time though, it’s the first day of the beta. People need to still download it and update. Some people have slow connections, also take into consideration that not all people have been waiting for this to come out for a long time and downloaded it as soon as they could, like us. ha

Here’s a note I hope that the developers take note of. I hope that the 2 maps and 2 game modes will be more than enough to keep us satisfied long after the game launches. For example, I played the Killzone 3 beta a lot, almost everyday. I loved it and couldn’t get enough of it. By the time the game launched, I played hardcore for a week or two and then found myself not wanting to play it for a bit. Even though there were other levels to play on after the game launched, I didn’t want to have to play that one level again. Now they had only one level to play on during the beta and I know this will have two levels. But I guess my point is, I hope they brought back the feature of R2 where it would be the same map, but it would have different areas and different run through in the co-op. Because that would be the one thing that didn’t force the developers to give us more levels during the beta, but also kept the game fresh long after it’s launch.

Socom 4 users: 04-08, EU ps+ users: 10-08, and USA ps+ users: 23-08
Why not on august 10 like the EU’s users
I just bought 1 year membership for ps+ and I already think it was a bad investment
I bought it mainly to get “early access to the betas”
We lose 19 days… that’s too much time for a beta
I feel very disappointed with SCEA and Insomniac
