Sony said flat out that cross game chat cannot and will never happen. It takes too much memory away from the system and would cause lag. Unfortunately, he basically admitted that the PS3 has less ram than a 360. Alas, there you have it. In fact, here is the article this was in:

And, yes, I turned on the auto upload when the game first started up, and checked it again after putting the disk in and it still shows it set for auto upload.

For example, just checked my online storage and Deus Ex, which I played last night until around 2am, should have uploaded the saves to my online storage at 6, but it’s not there. As far as I can tell, the system never even turned on. So, I have the update, I have PS Plus, but I don’t have what Sony promised in the update.

Am I the only one who has no idea how to use this? I have mine set to auto update from 6 – 8 am. According to the description under Auto Update in the system settings, it is supposed to turn itself on, sync trophies and auto download saves to the online storage, then turn off.
When I turn my system on, though, it hasn’t been done. Any saves I make before that time are not uploaded to online storage, and my trophies still need to be synced. Anyone else having this issue?

btw @ Grubbyashes PS3 can freeze regardless mate. It’s more the games fault though. For example Saints row 2 is known to freeze on ps3, but it also does on the 360. Just bad programming.
